Magic Natura Resort

We spend 8 days there as a family and in total we had a great time. The place is truly made for families and has a lot of activities for kids. The zoo and the water park are really great. And the big playground in the zoo is a huge plus.
The rooms are super, enough space and a little terase. All places were clean so far. The food for such a big hotel was also fine and you could always find something you like. There are two pool areas and they are absolutely fine.

The stuff was not really friendly especially at the main reception. The wifi you have to renew every four hours which is a bit annoying and quite often it is not working properly (it is annoying when you need to work a little). The app was not working properly as well. We could not properly book the restaurants and the spa.

The Kidsclub was super cool and they took good care. In general the team of the animation was ok but did not convince completely.

Cleaning the room was just superficial which is not okay if you stay a whole week and 2 days they forgot our room completely. But the women who were cleaning the rooms were super super friendly and polite. Especially in comparison to the rest of the stuff.

Our daughter loved the vacation and for us it was okay. Most probably we would not repeat it as for me the service is one of the most important points for creating a holiday mood.

Question: what is happening with all the food the guests are not eating? Is it thrown away or can you somehow reuse it afterwards for the zoo etc. This was quite shocking how the guests were overfeeding and just eating the half of the plates.

It was ok. We definitely wouldn't go back. The food was varied but there was a lot of queueing and it could get busy. Not enough bars or places to retreat from poor weather. My main issue was that things went missing from our room. My son reported it to reception but the items weren't recovered. If you leave anything on the bed it appears it's fair game. The games room was good and bookable via the "app" in a 45 minute slot per day. If you visit the aqua park and want to put your things anywhere you're either paying $5 for a locker per day or more for a sunbed. They've got a captive audience. The zoo is excellent and quite frankly was the best park of our week in the poor weather. Things aren't made clear to everyone when they arrived so don't be surprised if you have other Brits coming up to you and asking what the cup situation is. The staff at the pool bar are not very friendly at all. We tried to get the free bus into town twice but it was full and paid $12 to get a taxi to the old town port. We also got the bus into town another day to have dinner off site as the onsite dining experience can get a bit draining (even for those who upgraded and were trying to book the pizza place with no luck despite it not being busy). The evening entertainment show was very good but had to change due to weather (all outside) or sometimes cancelled. The place needs way more indoor or sheltered spaces
