Magic Natura Animal, Waterpark & ​​Polynesian Resort in Benidorm

The resort had loads to do! The zoo is fantastic, the waterpark is great! The resort also puts on a free bus to take you to into Benidorm. There is also an app which shows you whats on everyday so you can plan your days. We also paid extra for a hot tub and all inclusive plus which were both well worth the money. However, the food is awful! It was cold, looked under cooked and most days we were living on chips and bread. Some of the staff are so lovely and friendly and couldn't do more to help! But some fo seem ignorant which was disappointing. The pools on the resort were freezing! It was more like an ice bath! As a family we were unable to use the pools for this reason.

Just returned home and time to add my review and leave the group. Firstly we had the best holiday with so much fun and laughter - I do think it's important to remember a holiday is what you make if it. Water Park is brilliant so glad this was included as the hotel pools arnt very big . Food and drinks being included on all inclusive at the water park is great (upstairs bar only) , my little girl did the mermaid experience and loved it - well worth it - they was brilliant with her and the photos are so sweet. The zoo - we enjoyed walking round so much - we love animals and there's a fantastic selection here. We booked the reptile experience, elephant experience and night safari (at extra cost direct to the zoo) and wow these did not disappoint . Reptile experience was amazing - €35per adult €25 per child - it was a whole hour and the guy was so knowledge- we held bull frogs , spiders, scorpions, lizards and snakes - highly recommend. The elephant experience is great if you love elephants - tour of the inside enclosure - then they bring in an elephant and demonstrate some things they do with the elephants day to day to care for them - truly beautiful animals and you can see how the keepers love them. Night safari was basic but fun - for €20pp worth it - got to feed some deer and the elephants- plus was just so cool walking round the zoo at night in a private group - kids loved it. Now the hotel......we stayed in the Polynesian 2 bed lodge- was spotless on arrival and the cleaners are fab - the bathroom requires some updating but overall was very happy with the accommodation. It's been said a 1000 times on here but THE HILL. I knew to expect it but by the end of the week I have to say I was fed up walking up it. This week the bus/train was broken typically, the golf buggies were happy to take you but they was not coming regularly . Bars - the ques are bad...some of the worst I've encountered - during the evening entertainment your looking at 20minutes to get a drink unless your premium board . Having said that ...bar staff friendly and drinks branded , the upstairs bar in the evening by the speciality restaurants is fab - even get a frozen glass for your beer. Now here is whete everyone seems divided and I think it comes down to personal opinion. FOOD Personally - some of the most basic food I've had at an all inclusive . I'm not fussy - I eat most things . I always found something to eat but bland food . Very basic . And I do question if all of it is being kept at a temperature hot enough as sometimes was luke warm . The main buffet chaos is some of the worst I've encountered - more than 1 evening there was no tables - wr waited to have to clean our own table to sit and eat - we did complain to the hotel about this and was upgraded to premium dining - this solved the issue and we was happy with the set up of the premium dining buffet. Same menu but just quieter. Speciality restaurants Italian was nice definately worth a try We didn't
