We arrived too early for check in so expected to put our bags in storage and head out. Unfortunately we arrived mid storm and were wet through, we were told that luckily our room would be ready and to come back in an hour which we did. When we came back, it still wasn't ready so we went to the indoor pool which is fantastic, not the cleanest but really enjoyable considering the weather outside. We...
We had a great stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a modern, spotless bathroom. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and the location right by the sea offered stunning views from our spacious balcony. The restaurant served delicious food. However, the beds made a squeaky noise, which was a bit distracting. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’d consider...
Had a great time with my girlfriend, lovely staff too. Location and facilities were great. Straight into holiday mode once we arrived. Personally didn’t think the food was good (both morning buffet and dinner buffet)
Adorable place to stay with a family. I stayed here for two weeks with my son and my mother. A room view was fantastic! Each and every member of the staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and nice. Food was delicious. Wonderful Isabel not only kept our beautiful room clean and tidy every day, but also left her smile in our hearts forever! Perfect family hotel!
Excellent location, good food but little less on house keeping or cleanliness. Rest was super
Good hotel and service, nice and clean big rooms and bathrooms but there is nothing around if you like to go out at night. I like this hotel because it's 5 minutes away from the airport and I rest there 1 night before heading by car around Andalousia.

Breakfast was from good quality and tasted amazing. Service was fantastic, they thought about everything there and tried their best to make the stay a great experience for us. Rooms are older but the beds are very comfortable and the sea view was beautiful. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a small water leak caused by the air conditioning. While it was a minor inconvenience, everything else was perfect. I would still highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.
After checking in I was upgraded to suite with ocean view as gold member of Marriott. Room wasn’t ready till 4:pm. Staff were amazing. Location is 10/10. Roof were great it’s get super busy at sunset. Will be back there for a longer stay. Thank you
A beautiful surprise awaited us at Check in. Very nice and helpful staff. Staff arranged everything we wished. A beautiful room with nice view and still clean. Breakfast can be better, more fresh vegetables expected for 25Eur. Excellent hotel location: 5 min walking on the beach through a beautiful promenade.
If you're planning a trip to Malaga, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's ideally located within walking distance of most major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. What stood out to me was their commitment to service, there's always someone to greet you at the door and assist with the elevator, which is a rare find these days. I want to extend...

Beautiful hotel perfect location very friendly staff lovely clean room just like malaga the breakfast was continental and was very nice my only quibble was out of the hotel were the recycle bins and were frequently emptied during the night and the windows weren't very good at keeping the noise out but this didn't spoil my holiday.
Hotel is definitely not 3 stars. It’s 4 stars at least! location is perfect - so close so main street, bus stop and all sightseeing highlights. Rooms are very clean and looked after. I’ve read some complaints about the breakfast, but it was plentiful and good. Overall, we didn’t have high hopes but we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended hotel for a good price and great location.
Great city centre location. With approximately 5 minute walk to the port. Spent one night here for an event held at the port. Room perfect on 7th floor we even had a little balcony, absolutely spotless with lovely comfy beds. Breakfast was nice great continental selection with a small hot selection of scrambled eggs, bacon & small sausages. Highly recommend this hotel.
+ Stylish renovation Modern large room (416) Good mattress Nice functional bathroom Very well located Very clean Black-out curtain Valet parking (20€/day) - Thin walls (rather noisy in the morning) No tissues in bathroom Breakfast badly insulated (VERY noisy) No yoghurt at breakfast Staff at check in not very welcoming
The hotel is a real surprise considering the number of stars and the price we paid for the night. The room is comfortable, extremely clean, quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent, something for everyone, a good selection and everything was delicious. The staff is professional and friendly. The location is in the very center, close to all attractions, close to public transport to the airport
We stayed for three nights in late February. The location was great - right between the end of the main street and the main walkway to the port area. Everything was within walking distance, including the bus stop for the bus to the airport train. This was the best thing about the hotel and made it easy to return for a short break during the day. Reception was polite at check-in but barely acknowledged...

Room is clean , superp service. The restaurant is cheap.
Fabulous hotel, only one flaw, they should have replenished what was consumed for breakfast: 2 cnf of milk to stain the coffee, two tea bags and chamomile have a value of less than 1 Euro. Very clean, beautiful reception, very well-kept garden, very kind staff. A little out of the way but bus connection to the center nearby, comfortable, clean and cheap. I will return if I return to Malaga, FASCINATING...
This hotel is very far from the city center and there's nothing within a walking distance - no restaurants, supermarkets etc, so it only works if you have a car. Other than that, the room was comfortable, the staff was great, really helpful. You can hear everything that's going on in the hallway, though.
We had a great time staying in the hotel. The rooms and pool area were very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. Having the restaurant next-door was very convenient and the closing the day with a drink on the terrace made our holiday that much better. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood which is a bit sketchy/industrial but there is a closed of parking area so this...
We went here after a horrible Airbnb reservation. The hotel received us friendly. Our daughter was sick and the hotel helped us with whatever they could. Thank you for the amazing service!!! Rooms were not our style but perfect for a night. Thanks again! 🙏
Superb value, authentic Spanish hotel with an interesting design and convenient for the airport. The same price as the Campanile or the Holiday Inn but with much more character, space and better facilities.

Nice facilities, close to the center and to the main long distance train station.
Very good hotel, 7-8 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal, and there are many supermarkets around, about 500 meters walk. All the staff are very enthusiastic. My back pain relapsed and I told the front desk that they immediately helped to remove the soft mattress. Today we are going to take the train to Barcelona, and the medicine I brought needs to be refrigerated. When I asked the...
The front desk service attitude is OK, but they get a little impatient when asking more questions. They gave me a sea view room but it was all trees. Finally, they refunded me and gave me a side room. The experience was not very good. The breakfast was OK. The hotel toilet smelled. The location is close to the station but far from the city. There is a city bus stop nearby.
Rare in Spain, there are two staff members at the front desk. The room has a wide view. It is close to the train station.
I returned to this hotel which excels for its wonderful hall and cleanliness. Excellent breakfast with variety and fresh fruit. Highly recommended
The hotel is in a very good location, 8 minutes walk from the train station. The room is spacious and bright, but a bit old and simple. The swimming pool is on the first floor, not big, but the facilities are good, with sauna and bubble bath, very comfortable.

Good location and close to everything within walking distance
The hotel is very close, less than a minutes walk from Malaga Centro Alameda train station which is 4 stops on from the airport so very easy to get to. The location is great and the service attitude is great. The shower head in the room is shorter than a person, so you can't take a shower normally and need to bend down. Some of the ham and sausages for breakfast are not fresh.
It has a good location and a pretty good view, but the facilities are a bit old, which is a bit of a downside.
The hotel location is amazing. Breakfast is great but one day in the morning my wife was eating a cake and it had a mold on it. There is a water and free coffee station is also very good. Great reception and service. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated and fresh. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Excellent location and great views from the roof top bar. Totally recommend
Such a beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. Great room services. Brilliant that they have a pool on the roof. And bar there also. Have only great things to say. Highly recommend this hotel one of the European gems if you like travelling around Europe.
This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Definitely worth paying the extra for the port view. Having the breakfast is very convenient but there are many bars and cafes nearby. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The covid safety measures were adhered to at all times and we felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again
Excellent hotel, very friendly service and comfy beds and rooms well decorated. Location was also excellent, within walking distance to nearest metro and close to the harbour. Excellent comfortable beds and spacious rooms, clean and modern. A great variety of choices at breakfast, a bar with good service and a comfortable area to lounge around in.
The location of this hotel is quite central. Calle Larios can be reached by walking. Though hotel is on river banks, there is no water flowing in river. Rooms are moderate, clean and basic. Beds are excellent (they have improved bedding system I think). Bathrooms are spacious enough and clean. Sound proofing is not that efficient but still is not noisy.
Excellent value for money. Immaculate hotel right in the heart of Malaga. Even included breakfast which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this hotel
The staff here were a great help when my partner took ill. On a more tourist note the hotel is perfectly located. Most attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are perfectly adequate and very clean. The bed and reading lights really spot on! Value? Hard to beat. We will certainly be staying here again.
A great position just on the edge of the town. Just walk across the river and your in the town. Room was better than other IBIS hotels I've stayed in with all necessities. Lovely room, clean and spacious,no view, but we were in the city. Excellent location for the beach, promenade and city centre. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. They also had an upstairs terrace/ bar with a view of the cruise ships docked, which was a nice relaxing space.

Convenient location to train and bus station. Basic facilities but very modern, clean and comfortable. Great choice for a quick stop over.
The hotel is close to the railway station and a 30-minute walk from downtown. The rooms are incredibly uncomfortably appointed in any imaginable way, and small to boot. Fantastic place, great facilities with a roof terrace and pool that rivals anything I've experienced before and great service. The only slight downside was the noise from all the surrounding rooms and the street 3 floor below, otherwise 5 stars
Professional and welcoming staff. Great location about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Malaga. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately it was too early in the season to use the roof top terrace bar and pool - maybe next time.
Nice and clean hotel with excellent service. The breakfast had a lot of choices, and I appreciated the fruits and vegetables a lot! A con was that the AC didn' t work at our room.
This Hotel does it's job. Dedicated service team. Friendly forthcoming. We have been here during a companies workshop. All in all good rooms. Fairly nice facilities and next to no serious complaints. I'd say that this is a very good location for weekend trips or short sightseeing stays. Bang for the buck ratio is 7 out of ten.
Reception is very kind and helpful. Excellent location. 5-10 min walking distance to touristic places. Room is spacious and comfortable for a family of 4 like us (young children). Great hotel.  Spotlessly clean.  Everything in the room looks new.  Bathroom brilliant, large shower cubicle with rainfall shower.  Bed really comfortable.  Location a few minutes walk from old town. Breakfast good as was included in the cost.
Great location but if you have a car you have to ask the receptionist first, you get a little bit of discount and he shows you where to park
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location within 100m of a train station and easy walking distance (10-ish minutes) into town. Room was nice and modern, shower was great. Only downside was that the street-facing room could be quite noisy, particularly due to the rubbish collections at 1/2am. Otherwise an excellent hotel.
Clean and comfortable, cost-effective for Europe, and the room is not small. The location is good, within walking distance to the center of Malaga and Maria Zambrano train station.
Great price for location and the room. I loved the big closet space and the light switches that control all lights right beside the bed. But I want a big fan of the strong perfume in the hallways.
