We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a small water leak caused by the air conditioning. While it was a minor inconvenience, everything else was perfect. Great city centre location. With approximately 5 minute walk to the port. Spent one night here for an event held at the port. Room perfect on 7th floor we even had a little balcony, absolutely spotless with lovely comfy beds. The hotel is a real surprise considering the number of stars and the price we paid for the night. The room is comfortable, extremely clean, quiet and pleasant. We stayed for three nights in late February. The location was great - right between the end of the main street and the main walkway to the port area. Everything was within walking distance, including the bus stop for the bus to the airport train. This was the best thing about the hotel and made it easy to return for a short break during the day. This hotel is very far from the city center and there's nothing within a walking distance - no restaurants, supermarkets etc, so it only works if you have a car. The location of this hotel is quite central. Calle Larios can be reached by walking. Though hotel is on river banks, there is no water flowing in river. Rooms are moderate, clean and basic. Beds are excellent (they have improved bedding system I think). Bathrooms are spacious enough and clean. Sound proofing is not that efficient but still is not noisy.

The hotel is close to the railway station and a 30-minute walk from downtown. The rooms are incredibly uncomfortably appointed in any imaginable way, and small to boot. It appears the whole thing was designed by a Scroodge-like person. Service was non-existent, and it appears they fancy themselves being something like the Ryanair of hotel business. We rented the beach beds for a day and the service provided was amazing. They really thought about everything: bucket to clean your feet, shades, mini table, charging station etc. Drinks and food were served right on beach and everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Special shout to the Brazilian waitress who super helpful during our stay.

The food was fine, and the location by the beach is great. However we won't be back, as this is one of the few places we've eaten at in Spain (and the only one in Pedregalejo) that automatically added a 10% "tip" to our bill, so watch out for that.

The decor in the hotel lobby and shared areas is quirky, old fashioned and nostalgic. There is a nice area up on the roof, we didn't use it but it's a place to relax and provides shade from the sun. There is a stunning small back garden but it isn't accessible to the public.
