Not enough socket outlets, a 1970's design thing that needs upgrading to cover our proliferating electronic devices. Same with lack of USB 3 OR C, sockets. Simple replacement of existing sockets would help here. Breakfast & Dinner buffets were excellent, reception and housekeeping first rate. All in all, I'd return.
Totally amazing hotel! Staff were great (especially Pepe) and the rooms were clean and spacious. There were also very fun programs throughout the day. I highly recommend coming here if you like having a great time!
The biggest plus to this hotel is the staff. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marta with the kids club is AMAZING. The minidisco she hosted the night we stayed was SO fantastic. She's so great with the kids. My daughter loved it. The rooms are the big downside. Easily the worst beds we've ever slept in at a hotel. The mattresses were so hard, the pillows flat and stiff. The room was pretty run...
Very comfortable large room with view of the beach. Excellent service from all staff who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner had an excellent choice with good variety and the food was delicious. Would return for a relaxing holiday
We had an amazing stay at Sol Guadalmar and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding — always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered exceptional sea views. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent throughout...
The hotel is fantastically located directly on the sea. All rooms have frontal or side sea views.
On one side, there are apartments, on the other, a natural plot with parking. Nice for those seeking peace and quiet, but boring for those who might want to stroll in the evening. A taxi ride to the airport, downtown Málaga, or Torremolinos costs around €17.00, each 15 minutes. There's a bus stop in front...

The hotel is located directly behind the shopping center and is a 10-minute walk from the main train station. The breakfast is very good and varied.
I recommend this hotel to everyone
I have enjoyed my 6 nights in this hotel im going to miss this hot weather back to UK know All the staff are nice and very welcoming.
Very good hotel. Would definitely visit again. City Centre is easy accessible. There’s a mall right next to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Would recommend.
Arrived in Malaga during the Spanish 1 day power blackout. Hotel staff went out their way to help guests deal with lack of power. Had a great 4 night stay there. Rooms were great, breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend the hotel
A good stay.
Checked in on line prior to arrival which saved a bit of time at check in. Parking in the shopping centre car park with direct access to the hotel. Friendly efficient staff. About a 25 minute walk to the old town area. All in all a good stay.
I liked the location. We specifically looked for something walkable to the train station and the central old town. It was also convenient for the day trip pick up spots to Ronda and the Caminito Del Rey. The hotel was modern and clean. The front desk was helpful.

The hotel had a stunning and impressive exterior, incredibly friendly staff, beautiful interiors, a warm welcome service, and a spacious, comfortable room. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Enjoying breakfast in a bright, sun-filled space made the experience even better.
room service was perfect, location is good 15 minutes walk to center and 3 minutes to the beach. breakfast was okay but having fresh made omelets was good 🙃and waiting for coffee the none pleasant part but overall okay however I had better breakfast in the other hotels. stuff very professional and nice.
Gran Hotel Miramar is truly the crown jewel of Malaga's hospitality scene, housed in a magnificently restored early twentieth-century palace. The moment you step through the grand entrance, you are transported to an era of unparalleled elegance with soaring marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and exquisite period furnishings. The rooms offer exceptional comfort with modern amenities while preserving...
Excellent 4-night stay recently. Everything was dialed in so nicely. Food on site was phenomenal. Location allows for a short walk to wonderful cafes and food. Views of the sea are incredible. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Concierge helped with everything we needed, including mailing an item I left behind by accident. So glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Málaga.
We recently stayed at this beautiful historic hotel and, overall, we enjoyed our time here. The property has a grand, elegant atmosphere and one of the most beautifully decorated lobbies I have ever seen. The breakfast was good as well, although it was the same selection every morning.
That said, for a rate of €360 per night, a few things were surprising. The spa is not included in the room rate and...

I stayed at the AC Hotel Malaga Palacio and, overall, the experience was pleasant.
The rooms are clean and well-organized, and the service provided by the staff was always courteous and attentive. A particularly positive note is the breakfast served on the second floor: excellent quality, a wide selection, and a truly pleasant atmosphere. However, in my opinion, the hotel is in need of a general renovation...
The location is great. It's right next to the church. The port is just across the road. The restaurant on the top floor has an unbeatable view. The service is also good. The facilities are a bit old. There are too few varieties for breakfast. The ham is not bad. The price-performance ratio is not high
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I spent three perfect days in this hotel in Málaga. The staff is welcoming, attentive, A special thank you to Moises for his professionalism and kindness, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!
I always come to this hotel for the summer holidays and for the Christmas in Spain. The location is fantastic, it is very to the main station of Malaga.
I would like to say Thank you so much for the kind receptionists of Eurostars, especially for Mr. Moses.
Mr. Mose helped us l lot since we coupd not speak Spanish at all. He was the greatest receptionist ever we met. Muchissima Gracias!
Hotel located near the train station. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Standard hotel.
Right next to the train station, easy to walk. There is a TAPAS restaurant with a high Google rating downstairs. I personally tested that the food was not cooked before it was served. I was speechless. The service attitude of the hotel waiters was quite good and enthusiastic.
Hotel is fine. Clean looking which is nice. Rooms nice and large spacious. Small gym not much equipment better than nothing. Breakfast is excellent. Would stay again.
It's close to the train station, but well connected to the city center through bus and metro. The room is small but neat and clean. The problem is that it isn’t very well soundproofed. You can the water running when someone next room uses the tap.

One of the best hotel we’ve stayed in Spain ! The service is excellent, we will come back again .
The location is very good, in the old town center of Malaga. I recommend the nearby Central Market, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The shopping mall and Picasso Museum are very close, and there is also a Chinese restaurant
The hotel is conveniently located to any tourist attraction. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The hotel staff are friendly and polite. The breakfast is rich with local flavors. The hotel restaurant is also very good, with excellent food and service.
The positives first.
Wonderful staff! Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, and you're always greeted upon entering the lobby.
Great location. I'd say it's the perfect spot if you're visiting Málaga for the first time as most well-known spots are within walking distance and there's a bus stop about 1 minute on foot that links the hotel with Málaga's main railway station.
There are also lots...
We absolutely loved the hotel. From the minute we were greeted by Inma at reception, to the time that we checked out, every interaction with the staff was a pleasure. They were super helpful and made us feel very welcomed.

We loved this place and we would definitely return. We 100% highly recommend...
Stayed four nights. We were given an upgrade from a standard to a superior room upon arrival. The room was really comfortable with 2 balconies looking onto the street below. I had a wonderful stay at NH Hotel Málaga. The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located within walking distance of the harbor, shopping streets, and all the main attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel is excellent.
A special mention to Alex, who truly made our experience memorable. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and exceptionally informative...
Fantastic Hotel, a few minutes from the city. All the staff are excellent and so friendly. Juan, Guest Relations was very helpful and managed to navigate the site for the theatre on our behalf and book us the tickets we wanted for the jazz concert. He was efficient, so helpful and friendly. Alex on reception greeted us with a very warm welcome and was super helpful and friendly throughout our stay...
Alex in reception has given exceptional service.
We arrived as my husband had just left hospital and Alex was so helpful and understanding of the issues we were having. Every time we dealt with him, he was professional and very competent. We have stayed in several NH hotels and never received such good service and he is always smiling and reassuring.
A perfect example of the hospitality sector.
Loved our stay!
This hotel was perfect! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices, and the lobby is beautiful and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again!
A really good stay. The hotel is ideally located, only a few blocks from the action but far enough away to be peaceful. The breakfast and front desk staff were friendly, efficient and really helpful! The only criticism I would make is the female bartender was pretty curt and several of our group found her inhospitable. The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely...
Extremely well situated with the historical centre in 13 minutes walking distance. The pool was not overcrowded and the service was very good. The walls were rather thin so you could hear the noise from the square outside but the terrace area allowed for a nice experience.
The breakfast is overpriced but there’s plenty of breakfast options available just outside the hotel.

We had bed and breakfast at the hotel, when we arrived we were given a welcome drink. Hotel is very modern and breakfast was lovely. The roof top pool and bar with a view was breathtaking - would definitely recommend!
The hotel is perfect for a trip! From the top floor, you can take in the panoramic view of the cathedral. Just outside, you'll find a bustling pedestrian street, especially lively at night. An after-dinner stroll through the area offers both a dazzling night view of the city and an immersive experience of the local culture. It's truly relaxing.
The location is great. Just outside the door is the One-Armed Cathedral and a variety of delicious restaurants. It's within walking distance of the beach and all the attractions. However, parking is inconvenient. Our car couldn't be parked in the hotel basement because they said it was full. We had to park in a parking lot that required walking distance. Then, when we drove back to get our luggage...
Modern hotel with comfortable & very well equipped rooms.
Location is TOP. Every key area from a touristic point of view is within walking distance.
Effective price range is around €280~320 per night.
Definitely value for money.

We booked directly through the hotel which according to the website should come with certain benefits, however we didn't seem to receive any of these like a welcome drink, although we were able to check in early which we were grateful for. However, the hotel walls are thin, so if you are worried about the...
fast and friendly check-in, modern room with coffee machine and a stocked mini-bar, rare these days. Breakfast was good and fair value 13e if booked in advance. Adequate parking nearby and the hotel has its own car park. Near the beach with plenty of bars and fast food but i did not find a proper restaurant nearby. Avoid the Asian street food place opposite the hotel
The hotel is a little far from the city center, but the beach is just downstairs and across the road, and you can see the sea from the hotel window. It takes less than ten minutes to get to the airport by taxi. The room is clean and tidy, but a little small.
Good quality in resonance with the Catalonia. Friendly staff.
The stay has been very good and pleasant, the rooms facing Pacific street are quite noisy due to traffic.
The hotel is close to the sea, but it is separated by a road, so there is no invincible sea view, and there are no shops around. Basically, you can only use the restaurant attached to the hotel. The room is ok, but the traffic is very inconvenient, so you must use a taxi.

The breakfast is good and the room is comfortable. However, the towels for the swimming pool on the 8th floor need to be picked up in the basement.
It was very convenient because it was directly connected to the station and the train stop was right outside the hotel. It has a unique design with a slide from the 1st floor to the 0th floor, but the slide's entrance faces the restaurant. We stayed at Holiday Inn Málaga for a night, very good location, close to the airport. Clean hotel, peaceful and good options for breakfast. The guy in the front office was kind and helpful. I forgot to carry an EU charger and when we went to ask for help, this guy offered us chargers to charge our phones. Thanks a lot for the help. Sorry we forgot his name.
Airport hotel about a 30min walk from the main terminal - route not great on foot but would be fine in a taxi. Hotel well placed for off airport car hire places.
Nice hotel very close to the airport. Breakfast is included and it has enough quality. Croissants are awesome!
Good hotel, but taxis are overpriced for getting to and from the airport.

Played Parador old course on our annual trip to Spain. Overall view was that the course is in serious need of improvement especially to the fairways, lots of large bare patches around the greens which were unplayable.

Very clean comfortable room, perfect location to explore the city
The room was extremely small.
They claimed it was for environmental reasons, but they didn't provide water or toothbrushes; you had to fetch water from the hallway yourself, which was ridiculous.
There was no parking; you had to park in a nearby parking garage.

Hotel was reasonably located for the city with a 10 - 15 walk to restaurants, bars, and the sites. Most of the staff were polite and helpful but not a great response when initially checking in. Someone stole her smile. Room clean, but some furniture bashed on the edges, which lowered the overall standard. Roof top bar was a great experience in the evening with live music and attentive staff. Breakfast...
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which was recommended by a friend. The location was great, very convenient to the train station and the old town with its plethora of bars & restaurants and shops. Cathedral & port/beach in walking distance for us. The hotel was constantly spotless, both our bedroom, and common areas. The breakfast was plentiful with good quality food. We loved the roof...
We had a fantastic time in Malaga so would def visit again but not this hotel I’m afraid. Pro’s - great location, comfy beds, nice staff in the bar/pool area and good cocktails. Nice lobby area. Cons - there is a smell of drains in the bedrooms, reception staff not very friendly, bedrooms are a bit tired looking people hog the pool loungers all day and there are no signs anywhere.

Small pool area with loungers which we didn’t use but it looked a right little sun trap Breakfast was great. We always went between 7am and 8am and we had the buffet to ourselves. Amazing coffee and plenty of choice. Downside was...

The hotel is located about 2-3 minutes walk from the historic city centre, so it is perfectly located out of the busy crowds but near enough to walk into the centre quickly. The hotel staff are dedicated to good service and very friendly. The reception staff were lovely, and the roof bar staff are efficient and so welcoming. The room was great. I think we had an upgrade as I asked for twin beds...
