Stayed four nights. We were given an upgrade from a standard to a superior room upon arrival. The room was really comfortable with 2 balconies looking onto the street below. The pool area is nice although can get busy with decking sections quite narrow. Staff very friendly and happy to help in every way to make your stay enjoyable. Not enough socket outlets, a 1970's design thing that needs upgrading to cover our proliferating electronic devices. Same with lack of USB 3 OR C, sockets. Extremely well situated with the historical centre in 13 minutes walking distance. The pool was not overcrowded and the service was very good. Cons - there is a smell of drains in the bedrooms, reception staff not very friendly, bedrooms are a bit tired looking people hog the pool loungers all day and there are no signs anywhere.

The hotel is located about 2-3 minutes walk from the historic city centre, so it is perfectly located out of the busy crowds but near enough to walk into the centre quickly. The location is great and the service attitude is great. The shower head in the room is shorter than a person, so you can't take a shower normally and need to bend down. Some of the ham and sausages for breakfast are not fresh.

The family room we booked was wrong but Ctrip solved the problem quickly, everything else was ok. I booked it because it was through SLH. Except for the inconvenience of parking, everything is perfect. It is right next to the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral of Malaga. The surrounding bars, restaurants and shopping are very lively. Fabulous hotel, only one flaw, they should have replenished what was consumed for breakfast: 2 cnf of milk to stain the coffee, two tea bags and chamomile have a value of less than 1 Euro. This hotel is very far from the city center and there's nothing within a walking distance - no restaurants, supermarkets etc, so it only works if you have a car. Other than that, the room was comfortable, the staff was great, really helpful. You can hear everything that's going on in the hallway, though.

Superb value, authentic Spanish hotel with an interesting design and convenient for the airport. The same price as the Campanile or the Holiday Inn but with much more character, space and better facilities.

A good value 4 star hotel in a great location just off Calle Marqués de Larios. Bathrooms have good showers and plenty of storage. My room had a great view of the cathedral. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit ropey

Really loved this hotel in the heart of tourist district, tucked away on a narrow street. Staff was super helpful letting us an extra hour after checkout while we waited for our rental car. Great breakfast.
