Ibis provided exceptional service, breakfast very well catered. Elena was super helpful, even gave us tips for making Spanish tortilla. WiFi very reliable and fast. Exceptional attention to cleaning the grounds.
Location was good, and parking is provided with 6Euro charge. I like the location but rooms were too small, we went in October and felt like ventilation was not great in room, also room had the particular smell. I didn’t mention it to reception as I stayed there for a night. They have good food though. Receptionist were helpful with the exploring Malaga and nearby attractions.
Looking for an hôtel for a last one night when flying back from Malaga airport in the morning ...very good location to get thé plane and furthermore if you have a rental car and need to arrange the car drop with no stress - 5mn drive from thé airport terminal or car rental offices . - 2mn for refilling the car tank and car cleaning/washing station. - a secured Underground car Park et great Price...
Remember it’s a budget hotel. Having said that the bed was good and the toilet/shower was clean, modern and worked. The air con was good and that’s the basics ticked for me. Being budget there’s no wardrobe etc and I didnt use the tv. Worth remembering this hotel found me a room at short notice at 4am when other hotels sent me away and I was desperate to sleep somewhere. Thanks to the Ibis hotel for...
Good value for money. Good location with good transport links to the city centre and airport. Breakfast is basic but good enough. The staff were friendly. I rated it 3 because something happened that made me feel bad. I will not talk about what happened because the staff sincerely apologised.
Great hotel, would deserve 3 stars! Tasty breakfast, with lots of food to chose from. The only thing I would wish for is a closet in the room. Otherwise it's well worth spend money 😊

Easy and fast checkin. Close to airport. Easy parking. Very friendly and efficient staff. Super clean.
We booked 4 rooms here and stayed for 9 nights. It was great, really very enthusiastic about this hotel. It is typically Spanish, clean and cosy. Rooms are bigger than expected. Comfortable beds. There is a nice gym too. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also great, the food is excellent. The place in the middle of the hotel really makes it extra charming. 15 min from the airport...
Wonderful hotel - would highly recommend. Juan and his Manager were very helpful in arranging my booking - thank you both!
From what I recollect about this hotel, it was excellent with great food and good service. If I was in the vicinity again, I would definitely try for another visit.
Perfecto. Con un patio enorme y precioso para comer y cenar. Restaurante excelente. Zona super tranquila. Hay que probar la ensalada con salmón y nueces.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. A room at reasonable price with a good shower. Off street parking at 5 euros a night.

Excellent comfortable beds and spacious rooms, clean and modern. A great variety of choices at breakfast, a bar with good service and a comfortable area to lounge around in.
The location of this hotel is quite central. Calle Larios can be reached by walking. Though hotel is on river banks, there is no water flowing in river. Rooms are moderate, clean and basic. Beds are excellent (they have improved bedding system I think). Bathrooms are spacious enough and clean. Sound proofing is not that efficient but still is not noisy.
Excellent value for money. Immaculate hotel right in the heart of Malaga. Even included breakfast which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this hotel
The staff here were a great help when my partner took ill. On a more tourist note the hotel is perfectly located. Most attractions are within easy walking distance. The rooms are perfectly adequate and very clean. The bed and reading lights really spot on! Value? Hard to beat. We will certainly be staying here again.
A great position just on the edge of the town. Just walk across the river and your in the town. Room was better than other IBIS hotels I've stayed in with all necessities. The bed was comfortable with an extra topper. Rooms and hotel were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at 7.5€was a bargin with a full buffet available. I would recommend a stay here if you want to walk...
Used this hotel for a long weekend away with friends. Spacious clean room with comfortable bed and very functional bathroom. Convenient location for the old town and also the metro station for the airport. Highly recommended.

Excellent location. Simple hotel, but safe. The receptionists are friendly and helpful The rooms are very basic but do the job. It can get noisy at night because the walls are thin. But its a stone-throw away from the main bus stops and a 4min walk to the city centre, which is great. Soho is a lovely area too, worth exploring for its street art. Did not try the breakfast (but Juliet Coffee next door...
The hotel staff were very friendly, the reception, breakfast area and room was very clean. Its in the best location in Malaga- in the centre surrounded by multiple restaurants and caffès and historic buildings, also a 5 minute walk to Malaga marina and very close to the beach(all within walking distance). The reception is also available 24 hours so the receptionists always help with any questions....
Great location for Central Malaga. Nice large room, friendly reception staff and good choice for continental breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights. Downside was our room was on first floor and windows did not dim the noise from outside especially in the early hours and the amount of banging, doors slamming, loud talking that was going on in the middle of the night on the floor beneath us was totally...
This hotel is centrally located and handy for sightseeing. Its fresh decor and amenities are very good. I asked for a quiet room and actually most rooms face an inner courtyard. The street is also pedestrian. Staff are polite and helpful. I would recommend it.
We really enjoyed our five day stay in November 2021. Location was excellent, close to both the city centre and public transportation yet on a quiet street in the Soho area. Staff was great, and hotel was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel serves a decent breakfast at a low price and is located two steps from a great café that is open from 8-21h. Highly recommended!
Conveniently located, nice two star hotel. Very clean and seems newly renovated. Breakfast buffet very good and at a reasonable price.

Stayed here for a week a little while back. It’s such a perfect central location that you can plan to see and do everything Malaga can offer with ease. My only criticism revolves around noise. Not the noise from the street, but the restaurant and bar on the roof. Every night at closing time you’d hear a lot of chairs being slid across the floor, which naturally echoed through the whole building. Fortunately...
Great location and facilities were standard for this hidden gem. View of the Alcabaza from the rooftop was also lovely. Would highly recommend !
Nice hotel, however seemed to be expensive for the quality of room. The room was noisy, regardless the soundproof windows, the noise from the inside is very annoying, as the door, the ceiling are just too thin. The breakfast choice and quantity is rich; be prepared to spend an hour here as you choose meals first (sandwiches or croissants as well as eggs and jogurt) and then it all served - imagine...
Great boutique style hotel. Location is perfect. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff very helpful. Nice breakfast on terrace overlooking the Alcazaba. Although it's on a busy street the windows and blinds close which soundproofed the room from any outside noise. Overall. A great hotel. Couldn't fault it.
We went to the company meal. they treated us perfectly. We enjoyed magnificent views and impeccable service.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every day. Rooftop bar was amazing for the view and overall cleanliness. Genuinely enjoyed my stay here and would stay again

Perfect location - close to everything and everything is within walking distance. Walk out of the hotel entrance and you immediately see cafes, shops, restaurants, museums, monuments, etc.
Excellent hotel in the old town district. Walking distance to everywhere we needed. Clean and functional rooms. Friendly and informative staff.
Good value for money in a fabulous location. Very friendly and relaxed staff. Nice bathroom, decent shower, aircon and good wifi. Would stay again.
Great location between the old town and the beach, professional staff, normal and clean room (no 50). The only bad thing was that the water temperature fluctuates in the shower. We had to adjust the water for 20 min. I was about to burn myself.
Really friendly staff. Great location in the old town and not far from the port. Nice ensuite. My room was small and dark, but double rooms are apparently larger and more comfy.
Location is great (1 block from the cathedral, and just a few minutes stroll to the Picasso Museum and the lovely Alcazaba fortress). The hotel was exactly what I expected: 2 star, clean, room a bit dark and smallish, but comfortable. Not much of a lobby, but so what? The staff was pleasant and helpful, especially Alvaro at the front desk. The bathroom was nice and new, lots of hot water...what more...

I really enjoyed the location. It's pretty easy to walk to the city centre. The rooftop lounge was great. Breakfast is really good. The room gets a low rating for a terrible bed and pillow. Also, the blankets are scratchy. It was hard, so it was not great for side sleeping. I was upset at the payment because that denied my AMEX, which they said they supported. I didn't want it on my other card but...
Had a lovely few days. Staff, were very friendly, and accommodating. Continental breakfast was good value. Great location too. I would say,it was a boutique hotel old meets new. Would recommend.
We loved our stay at Hotel California. It was easy to find, using public transport, which is excellent ( no 3 bus from outside Malaga Central train station- train direct from the airport) and easy to access the old Quarter using the same bus- 10 minute ride. All fares are the same price, so no faffing! The hotel is family run, spotless, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, not a...
The decor in the hotel lobby and shared areas is quirky, old fashioned and nostalgic. There is a nice area up on the roof, we didn't use it but it's a place to relax and provides shade from the sun. There is a stunning small back garden but it isn't accessible to the public.
Lovely little hotel in a quieter part of Malaga. The Sea front is only a very short walk away. The staff are very attentive and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Perfect location, close to the beach and historic centre (20min walk). Nice and spotless clean rooms. Helpful personnel.

A very nice place. an oasis of peace in a suburb of Malaga. Ideally located. You can take the bus that goes every 15 minutes to the center for a few euros

4 stars because of the lack of insonorisation, can hear water flowing in the pipes. Nice staff who had to clean after the lady who threw in the hallway, at 5am, because she was drinking all nights, wasn't there but could hear all from my bed 😅😅
Stayed in for 3 nights, great location ,good room was on top floor, very clean, helpful staff. Breakfast had to be on another hotel close by, but great !
The hotel is clean and tidy. There are all the basic amenities but the mini fridge. One downside is many rooms do not have a double bed, but two single beds.
it’s a 2 star hotel good for a layover and it’s well maintained. It’s great if you’re spending no time there and just need a place to drop your things.
Great hotel for the price! Clean room with AC is all we wanted and they delivered. A short walk away to the tourist district.

The hotel is located near the railway station Maria Zambrano and the bus station as well. There are two supermarkets in the nearby. A catholic parish church is also easy to get from there.
Nice and clean. Lidl supermarket a minute away. A little further from the centre but still a walkable distance. A convenient 10 -15 min drive to the airport.
I can't exactly say I am pleased with this hotel. It was very clean, quiet, air conditioned just like any other budget hotel. It was little far from the train and bus station, doesn't offer breakfasts which is why its only average. No kettle or coffee tea options provided.
Perfect location. It's about 8 minute to walk to either the bus or train station. Rooms are modern. A perfect place for a one-night stay, especially if you have an early flight.
The hotel was an excelent choice for a dhort stay while waiting to catch a bus the next day. Very good location within walking distance of the main bus station. Staff was kind and welcoming.

Nice family-owned hotel with a very obliging "staff" (family), beautiful rooms, quiet, A/C, great view from the terrace/garden, breakfast with various options, parking in front of the door (depending on your skills), free WiFi. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Charming, friendly hotel just about one kilometre from city centre. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the Gibralfaro castle and the city. Breakfast in the garden was very good. Although very near the centre and an easy walk down hill, the returning climb back is a stretch. You could take a taxi, or just take your time.
Lovely family run hotel, friendly helpful. Immaculate spacious rooms, beautiful garden and charming cats.
While it's 15 min walk from downtown, it's a gem. Quiet, lovely hosts, great breakfast and the hosts are more than happy to help you explore Malaga. We booked the Balcony room which has a lovely view of Malaga all the way to the water.

This hotel has some of the best Spanish design qualities. What a delight. However, the workmanship of that design was bad and detracted from the beauty.
The staff is very gentle. Great location. There are many bars and restaurants around. Not big markets but small shops from Chinese people where you can buy whatever you need to survive after midnight. For one night only it is the perfect hotel because it is cheap. This was an ideal base for the city with all we needed. Clean and friendly with an outstanding moroccan/Andalusia restaurant just around the corner.
There's no pet giraffe provided at the hotel, aside from that it's a pleasantly quiet place to stay; three thumbs-up.
Very good little hotel, excellent location for sights. My family of five (two adults, three kids) fit perfectly in one room. Only the lift was bit problematic. Small playground nearby with cafe, sights & museums near, the port is right next to it, also lots of places near to have something to eat.
