Great hotel. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the staff, cleanliness of the room and the public areas, quality of the food and service at the breakfast. We highly recommend the Barcelo Málaga and look forward to staying there again.
Great Hotel, Friendly Staff and very Welcoming. Rooms are excellently presented and Clean.
Fantastic Location next to the train station and can get a taxi into the City Center or Marina for 6 Euros.
Only 20 minutes in a taxi from Airport.
Prices at the bar and the City as a whole are very reasonable.
Great City break. Will be returning and booking in at this Hotel.
We were given a room with a door in between ours and another room. It was locked but the other room happened to have really loud guests and the door was absolutely not soundproof like advertised. We could hear their exact words and it did not feel like we paid for a private room at all.
The rooftop is made to seem much larger in the photos than in reality. I will admit we came during a very peak period...
Friendliest most accommodating staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at! They are so wonderful! Food was great and the pool is a nice extra. Beds are extremely comfortable! Strong shower pressure and clean rooms.
Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and have huge comfortable beds. The breakfast has a huge range of cooked food and cereals, along with an omelette station. The hotel has a rooftop bar and pool which is a great place to chill out (or rather get sunburnt). Stayed here twice and the only slight downside is getting into the town but its only a few Euros and...
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. All the facilities I needed were there. The rooms were of a good size; the bathroom was nice. From our balcony we could see the sea in the distance. The hotel is located right next to the train station. It is a 20-25 minute walk from the center of the city. Breakfast was excellent.

Amazing location. Very close from the shopping center, city center, port and sea. I would repeat again and again
Friendly staff and reallotjar good breackfast, but if you want to connect your devices to WiFi or work using internet or even a simple Skype, forget about it.
The internet connection take ages to connect and once in on is that slow that I have to use my mobile data just to open the email inbox, no mention about surf in the net.
I have contacted the IT service and the addressed me to the front desk...
Good hotel near the train station, about 15min walk from city center. Nice clean and personal is very charm but dont have restaurant,,,, just a room menu but very simple.
Very clean and lots of ametities! Great staff that speak English really well. Good place to stay near the center of town.
Beautiful hotel in central Malaga. Wonderful breakfast. I recommend you book online: online the room was €105 and breakfast was included- they said they would finish my booking for me when I arrived & it cost €165, breakfast NOT included!

I spent three perfect days in this hotel in Málaga. The staff is welcoming, attentive, A special thank you to Moises for his professionalism and kindness, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!
I always come to this hotel for the summer holidays and for the Christmas in Spain. The location is fantastic, it is very to the main station of Malaga.
I would like to say Thank you so much for the kind receptionists of Eurostars, especially for Mr. Moses.
Mr. Mose helped us l lot since we coupd not speak Spanish at all. He was the greatest receptionist ever we met. Muchissima Gracias!
Hotel located near the train station. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Standard hotel.
Right next to the train station, easy to walk. There is a TAPAS restaurant with a high Google rating downstairs. I personally tested that the food was not cooked before it was served. I was speechless. The service attitude of the hotel waiters was quite good and enthusiastic.
Hotel is fine. Clean looking which is nice. Rooms nice and large spacious. Small gym not much equipment better than nothing. Breakfast is excellent. Would stay again.
It's close to the train station, but well connected to the city center through bus and metro. The room is small but neat and clean. The problem is that it isn’t very well soundproofed. You can the water running when someone next room uses the tap.

Warmth greetings since first step into the hotel.
Quick device was good and clear information.
Al staff super active to help whatever you want.
Breakfast is variety and comfy space to sit and start first meal of the day.
It’s a petty the management wouldn’t put the central air condition on because the room feels warm in the evening when I sleep unless I open the window and most of the time it’s loud outside. I don’t understand why the central air condition is on heating setting where the weather outside is getting warmer and I doubt that any room would need the heating option.
The reception staff offered me an alternative...
Very modern clean hotel that is only a few minutes walk from the old town. Breakfast buffet is really great and lunch/dinner are also decent. The restaurant and room service people are very nice but the people at the bar need a bit more training in customer service. Try not to get the rooms at the ground level facing the back square since there are benches right outside the windows and the windows...
Lovely hotel, only stayed one night so far but in a good location. Short walk to the old town and clean, inviting environment.
*Edit*
During our stay it was my Mum’s birthday, the hotel was very kind and left a cake in the room. This was a lovely gesture until it was taken off of us (with only a few bites taken out of it) after it being in the room for less than 12 hours. Very bittersweet. If staying...
My stay at NH Málaga Hotel was delightful and exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, and the rooms were spotless and well-maintained. It's located along the coast and right in front of the sea, so the view was amazing.
Malaga has over 300 sunny days a year, but unfortunately when we visited there was a storm so we couldn't enjoy the coast, but
I recommend it as you can get very close to the sea. (It's a little far from the city center, but you can get there by bus.)
However, the hotel walls are thin, so if you are worried about the...
fast and friendly check-in, modern room with coffee machine and a stocked mini-bar, rare these days. Breakfast was good and fair value 13e if booked in advance. Adequate parking nearby and the hotel has its own car park. Near the beach with plenty of bars and fast food but i did not find a proper restaurant nearby. Avoid the Asian street food place opposite the hotel
The hotel is a little far from the city center, but the beach is just downstairs and across the road, and you can see the sea from the hotel window. It takes less than ten minutes to get to the airport by taxi. The room is clean and tidy, but a little small.
Good quality in resonance with the Catalonia. Friendly staff.
The stay has been very good and pleasant, the rooms facing Pacific street are quite noisy due to traffic.
The hotel is close to the sea, but it is separated by a road, so there is no invincible sea view, and there are no shops around. Basically, you can only use the restaurant attached to the hotel. The room is ok, but the traffic is very inconvenient, so you must use a taxi.

Really nice hotel, good location if you’re travelling by train but about 30mins walk away from the main town.
Good location — just a bridge away from the old town, with department stores, restaurants, a supermarket, and a coin-operated laundry all within walking distance. The room layout felt a bit awkward, with unnecessary curves, and the toilet was very small and located separately from the bathroom. Daily cleaning service was a plus — the cleaners were polite. Staff weren’t particularly enthusiastic, but...
Excellent location and staff were amazing makes you feel at home
Loved this place .
The rooms are good and comfy
The staff are willing to help always at any time of the day
All are welcoming
I had some initial trouble in getting simple service like getting an iron box which left me feeling disappointed initially .
But they did make sure everything was smooth during the Stay after bringing the issues to their notice
The location is amazing .just walkable to cathedral...

What I will oddly point out that we liked about this hotel was that besides how fantastic the rooms were, we arrived very early to our hotel because of a late flight(2:30am) and we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who was very kind and helpful. I’m glad they lock the front entrance at night which made us feel safe during our stay
Great location. 15-20 min walking to the beach. Very close to city center. Our view was so nice, across the apartments. Room was not too spacious however enough for 2 people. Inside the building is so quiet and calm and euphotic. The personnel at reception are so kind and helpful.
Awesome hotel in great location, close to the city center and city beaches, very friendly stuff. Beds and mattresses are very comfy, rooms nice and clean, big enough. They also washed my shirts for a small fee (outside it was ~37 degrees Celsius ☀️).
Clear recommendation from my side. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Málaga next time.
Great location, about 10 minutes walk from the old center and 15 minutes from the beach (La Malagueta). Also very close to the bus station. Friendly staff. The city view room was very nice; cleaning was done every day. Breakfast was good, a bit of everything, fresh fruit juices (not commercial like other locations). Nothing to complain about! I will definitely choose the Hotel ICON MALABAR the next...
Had an good stay with my mom. The room was clean, spacious enough for two people, and very nicely decorated. It had small balconies if you need fresh air. I simply loved this place. The front desk staff were all very good but special mentioned to Sergio who really bent over backwards to assist me and made me feel right at home. An average small hotel. Nothing special but not bad. Carpet in our room was worn and should have been replaced a while ago. Location is convenient to shops and restaurants.
A gem in Malaga Centro
We returned to this hotel, having stayed there in January. Again, it was fabulous. The staff is amazing: in particular I must mention Ana who upgraded our room and extended a lovely welcome. Breakfast is lovely and the rooftop bar is quality. It is our go to place in Malaga Centro. Regresaremos pronto.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Malaga but on a quiet street. The room was fantastic with a great bed and shower. The rooftop bar is perfect for a late evening drink. The location is great as it’s just off the super tourist streets so it’s quiet. Loads of restaurants close by.
Great hotel!
Fabulous hotel with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Room was beautifully decorated and very clean, front desk staff were always smiling and helpful and loved the rooftop bar and the friendly staff.
Great location for the marina, old town and train station. Would definitely recommend
Great hotel, we arrived in the middle of the huge power failure in Spain! Light in the lobby and elevators working.
Overall a very nice hotell with very kind and nice staff!
The Mariposa, Malaga.
The Mariposa Hotel in Malaga is a nice place with clean good rooms , bathroom etc. The breakfast included in the room price ( if you wish) is quite sumptuous with hotel & cold food with a good variety of things as well. The check-in staff was remarkable, attentive, kind, well-mannered. We checked-in two hours ahead of time and there was no problem with that - even though we booked our room 20 minutes earlier. This was our second visit here & can certainly recommend it. It's possibly in the best location in Malaga, next to the marina, shops, nightlife etc. The communal areas in the hotel are beautiful as are the bedrooms. Breakfast was very good, fresh & varied. All staff were interacted with were warm, friendly & helpful. What more can I say?
Room was nice good large comfy bed too. One accessible socket on floor, no shelves or drawers for placing any clothes or other items. Six or so hangers provided overall. Breakfast was quite limited, but apart from the cool/cold eggs and bacon and the low quality fruit juice the food was generally ok. Good location, lovely Staff.
A wonderful hotel, with marvelous views over Malaga and an amazing location in the heard to this great city. We just visited the lovely terrace which has an excellent view. The teas and cakes were also good, but the experience was somewhat spoiled by a member of staff serving who didn't seem to want us there. We felt it was our nationality that was unwelcome as she seemed fine with the locals. Hopefully our experience was a one off as everything else about it as worthy of 5 stars
Had lunch with friends in the 3rd floor restaurant. It’s good staple Andalucian food in a pleasant setting. Service could have been better but it was busy. Children’s menu was the best in Malaga - lots of options for starter and main courses.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant in Málaga! The view is simply stunning, and the wine selection was top-notch, making for a perfect evening. The front desk service attitude is OK, but they get a little impatient when asking more questions. They gave me a sea view room but it was all trees. Fantastic place, great facilities with a roof terrace and pool that rivals anything I've experienced before and great service. The only slight downside was the noise from all the surrounding rooms and the street 3 floor below, otherwise 5 stars
Professional and welcoming staff. Great location about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Malaga. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately it was too early in the season to use the roof top terrace bar and pool - maybe next time.
Nice and clean hotel with excellent service. The breakfast had a lot of choices, and I appreciated the fruits and vegetables a lot! A con was that the AC didn' t work at our room.

I went to practice at the driving range with my friends. Its one of the most affordable in this area when it comes to balls. A beautiful location, but a bit noicy due to nearby airport runway. The staff in the shop were super friendly!
Good - close to the airport and beach, spacious room, nice palm tree view with golf club
Bad - breakfast quality(it was worst experience at Parador hotel chain), Service at the cafe and restaurant (they cannot speak English and servers don’t have adequate rules each other)
One of the best Paradores we’ve stayed in . Huge rooms with a terrace plus table and chairs spotlessly clean , for a standard this was extremely spacious. Very good restaurant with lovely friendly staff especially chatty Antonio and the bar cafeteria tapas was excellent.
Yes it was quite noisy with the aeroplanes but it is close to Malaga airport and they do stop flying at night, quite good fun though...
