Hotel Best Sabinal in Roquetas de Mar

Great hotel but rooms are a little small and narrow. Could do with some drawers installing inside on side of the wardrobe to help organising clothes instead of loving out of a suitcase. Breakfast is brilliant, good choice and really nice omelettes. We had evening meal once and found the options plentiful and tasty.
Plenty of room by the pool (that was colder than the sea!)
Spa was relatively cheap and well equipped.
Parking was good and cheap but plenty of roadside parking if you come off season.
Great location, short walk to bars and restaurants, right on the beach front. Bus stop about 2 minutes walk away.

We recently stayed at the Best Sabinal and had an amazing experience overall. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. The cleaners in particular deserve special praise — they did an absolutely fantastic job every single day.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and it was especially impressive to see the preparations for the upcoming Halloween theme. The attention to detail really added a festive, fun atmosphere without being over the top — it made the stay feel extra special.

The food was good, although a little repetitive at times, so we did choose to eat out on a few occasions despite being all-inclusive. One of the chefs especially deserves excellent credit for his hard work. He always had a big smile on his face and such a cheerful attitude, which made our evening meals that much more enjoyable.

A real highlight was the lovely woman working in the spa most days. She was an absolutely wonderful character — warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The spa facilities themselves were fantastic, and the staff at the bars were very generous with the drinks (so much so that we even had to ask for *less* alcohol!).

Our room was stunning, with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable, and although the TV didn’t work properly, it wasn’t an issue — we didn’t come on holiday to watch TV anyway.

The hotel overall was extremely clean, though the bathrooms near the lifts could do with a bit more attention. On several visits the bins were overflowing, and the toilets themselves were not always clean.

The pool and sun-lounger area was absolutely fantastic with no problems at all — just be prepared for a very ice-cold pool!

All in all, we absolutely loved our stay at the Best Sabinal and would definitely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to returning for another relaxing holiday.

We've just returned from 9 nights all inclusive, and it's one of the best 4 star hotels we've been to. I don't give many hotels 5 stars so it goes to show how good this place is The food, as some mentioned was quite samey at times, but there were that many options overall, it didn't bother us. Lunch and dinner had live stir fry cooking and that was a particular hit. Normally on all inclusive holidays I eat out every 2/3 nights as I get sick of the food. We didn't go out at all here, which tells its own story. Drinks were absolutely brilliant. Top label stuff and as we were in October, we were always served quickly, and with a smile. Nestle ice creams on all inclusive were also a hit. You don't see that often. The pool was brilliant. Always clean and always had a lifeguard watching over. Splash park was a particular hit with the kids (12 & 6), although I expected my 12 year old to get bored quickly with it, she didn't and hours of fun was had while my wife and I relaxed. Rooms are basic as people have said, but cleaned daily and to a high standard. You can find fault if you look, but we don't care about that stuff. If it's clean and comfortable, you've won us over. Sea views are incredible and very peaceful. We had many a night sitting on the balcony with a bottle of all inclusive red wine. Bliss. I almost dropped a star on account of a few rude staff members in the restaurant. My family are very polite, and we also try our best to speak Spanish to the staff where possible, Especially ordering food and drink. However, a Few chefs and a couple waiting staff were a bit rude on occasion. I get they are busy and probably a bit stressed, but if you are customer facing, you need to serve with a smile. Lessons could be taken from the bar and reception staff who were exceptional. Also Tamara in the restaurant, always smiling. Chefs have a reputation as grumpy and a few lived up to that. I'm trying to speak Spanish so don't get annoyed at me when I don't understand your response... Overall I felt it would've been harsh to punish the staff because 90% were brilliant. Brilliant walks along the front, location is excellent however can't comment on surrounding areas due to so much of it shutting down for the season. Buses were good to Gran Plaza & Almeria. To conclude, this hotel is absolutely brilliant and we've come away well rested, well fed and with memories to last a lifetime. Kids had a blast.

Upon arrival, the hotel was very clean and tidy. The receptionist was very polite and helpful with the checking in process and we soon had our room numbers and all inclusivre wrist bands. The rooms were very spacious , clean and tidy. We had a sea view room with balcony. The beds were very comfortable . The range of food for all the meals was great , there was a very good choice of hot meals ,salads , fruit , bread , cold meals and most important for the kids puddings. All in all our stay was excellent and would definately reccommend others to go to this hotel.

The people who book this hotel are usually looking for an all inclusive experience. The pool was busy, the music was loud.
Fine if you just want a hotel on the beach and never adventure anywhere else.

Just spent a week in the Best Sabinal and I can honestly say I was already thinking of booking again for next year.
The location of the hotel is great, right on the beach, the surrounding areas are packed with tourist shops and little bars and restaurants. You can rent a bike just outside if you want to ride around instead of walking.
The hotel staff are all friendly and approachable from the front desk to the cleaning crew, most spoke English, the ones who didn't they did their best to understand us. They are all hard working people with a smile on their faces.
The food and drinks were in plenty of choice.
There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone.
The animation team was amazing and involving, they arranged games, and they were translating to English when non Spanish speakers were also playing.
The spa was brilliant too.
The week that we've spent here was great and relaxing, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant hotel can not really think of anything negative to say about. Food was fantastic and such a variety of choice which changed with new additions added every night to change it up.
Rooms were very clean and kept to a fantastic standard.
Most of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and hard working. Especially Rocio and Diana in the dining hall.
There was one person who favoured serving Spanish people at the bar first but this definitely didn't take away from the overall experience. The spa was excellent apart from one jacuzzi which didn't work on one side and the steam room was out of order but overall was brilliant as these things happen. Would definitely recommend staying here. Entertainment was virtually all spanish which is OK! (it's in Spain)!!! What do you except haha.
Great value for money especially if you like a drink and your grub on the all inclusive.
