Morro del Jable, Avenida de los Pueblos, 1 (Urb. Esquinzo Butihando) 🧭 Map
This is an amazing hotel, the service, the amenities, the food, everything was incredible.
The my Mo club was incredible and made my kids feel like at home.
It really is an amazing hotel, its over a large area, it was early February when we came, beautiful pools (although the largest was being refurbished at the time of our stay) not very busy. It would be difficult if anyone had walking issues, without a frame or wheelchair, plenty of wheelchair ramps though and lifts. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
We had a fab time staying here. The beach and sea water very clean. Steps to beach require some effort but good exercise after a day lying on the beach. Food and Drink facilities were generous and some great dining options too.
Top banana
Amazing hotel , lovely staff and great food at the buffet!
Hardly any car parking space at the hotel, there is plenty of unrestricted parking on the road outside, there did seem to be about six disabled spaces available however I don't recall any being vacant at all, lobby quite well laid out however the rooms are away from the main building and there are three relatively small lifts down to the access points (a set of stairs is next to the lift), hotel grounds...
We had a very nice stay! Food is perfect and so are the rooms. The only thing was the access to the beach with a very large and deep stairs.
I would definitely recommend 💕💕
location on the beach, the beach was beautiful and pleasant

Good value stay. We drove down from the airport which was very easy. Great walks along the beach.
Friendly staff, great dinner options . Alot of facilities around hotel . Near by beach and shopping area . Amazing view . Very satisfied with my stay with children.
Hotel was clean and the amenities serviceable. It’s a bit dated and the food was definitely quantity over quality. Shuttle busses offered to the beach but there’s not much else in the local area.
Outdated
Nice hotel but needs updating
Feb 25 week away with friends
Lovely hotel. All areas very clean. Landscaping was great, lots of cacti. Massive choice of food for all meals although as others have said it is not very hot. There are microwaves dotted about so you can re-heat soup or porridge. The snack bar is good for lunch. We visited first week of February and found the pools a bit cool. Spa area is good and was very quiet. We...

Verified Misled on holiday hotel was 3 star your… Misled on holiday hotel was 3 star your site said 4 the hotel had paint flaking off the buildings cracked tiles all over the floors and even missing ones on stairways also a lot of tiles rocking . It’s not all inclusive like stated . Safety deposit box has to be paid for which is outdated nowadays. Spa and indoor pool is extra. A big problem very little...
Fantastic entertainment super funny and creative entertainment every day, me and the family loved it, got everyone involved especially in and around the pool. Brilliant 👏 👏 👏
Just got back from 10 days away. We were a bit nervous coming here but there was no need to worry, we had a great time! There are plenty of sun loungers, you can always get one, but if you want a sunbed in the shade you will need to set your alarm and be out by 7am to play the sunbed game. It's a shame, the hotel could stop this by enforcing the rule of not being allowed to reserve sunbeds, but until...
We arrived at the hotel on 5th August 2025. Leaving on the 12th was not what we wanted to do after a brilliant trip. I'll start with the rooms. They are a little dated. However, the cleaners do an outstanding job considering the size of the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. If you want towels changed daily, leave them in the bath. If you want bed sheets changing, there is a card on the desk to...
We were hesitant booking given some recent negative reviews however were pleasantly surprised. First the slightly negatives, we were place in block 2 which was out of the main reception building and across the way, we had to use two lifts to go up 3 floors each time, this wouldn’t have been too bad if the lifts were always operational, there wasn’t a day when one of the lifts wasn’t working, the main...
The good- Staff were very friendly and encouraging if you tried to say little bits in Spanish (badly). They would happily tell you how to ask for something in Spanish if you asked. When our safe wasn’t working someone came within 5 minutes to fix it and the same when the door wasn’t unlocking. When we didn’t have enough towels one day they brought another one quickly. The hotel grounds and buildings...

We went in UK Feb half term. Great location for winter sun!! Hotel is not 4 star. But that's because they do have a staff shortage problem in busy holiday times, its a big hotel many people including large families. Staff do their best. I think it's not helped by tourists leaving their food and mess. At least try and create less work in busy times! For the price, you do get what you pay for. I think...
The hotel staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. But location is very far from the airport so you should definitely plan and book your transportation in advance. If not taxi price is over a hundred euros.
Food is cold and drinks at the bar are done in a rush, I assume lack of staff.
Definitely not a four star resort
Loved this hotel. There is nothing of note to complain about it. It was clean, and the room was fab with a beautiful view. Plenty of food to choose from, fresh pizzas were lovely. The swimming pool on the upper level from the bar was quiet, and we never struggled to find a sunbed!!! It catered for my mobility issues. All in all, it was a great holiday, and we will definitely return.
Third visit to Jandia, first at this hotel.
As with most hotels reviews mention cold food and issues with maintenance, I had no issues whatsoever.
Pleasant check in, very clean room in a great location.
Good selection of food in the buffet restaurant, as with any buffet food is not piping hot.
Easy access to promenade, beach and mountain trails.
Plenty of sunbeds and seats, no queues for drinks.

Location is superb. Service in reception was great as in the restaurant. Good quality food but no so good on drinks
Rooms were a bit dirty. Short staffed, so staff does a quick job. Don't refill shower gel/toilet paper...or clean the floor. Shower was dripping brown from walls on our first shower....
Main reception was clean but communal toilets very dirty. Dispensers broken and never fixed. Corridors...
Typical 4 star all inclusive.
Room was spacious, clean, and cool.
The food was always as good as it can be for typical all inclusive buffet style, always plenty of choice.
Ignore those who moan about the food those people have champagne taste and lemonade budget!
As for security, simply keep your balcony door closedand locked! It's typical of any resort that thieves hover anywhere you go. The air con...

The Good - The rooms, pool area & restaurant are clean & staff in all areas work hard & are helpful. The Bad - The FOOD IS VERY POOR mainly the meat & fish to say its a 4* the food is not good for this reason we would not return. Location is great right next to the gorgeous beach. We have been to Jandia many times but usually stay in the Riu Calypso where the food is excellent. The drinks were...
Stayed at this hotel for my first solo trip. Resort is nice with lovely sandy beaches. Hotel is well equipped, no shortage of sun loungers. Plenty of souvenir and other shops nearby. Beach is 5 mins from the hotel. There are some nice restaurants and bars which are approx 15 mins walk away. Room was ok. It had a safe at an incremental cost. Bar well stocked. Entertainment staff on site for exercise...
We stayed for a week AI with a premium drinks package. Great hotel, lovely staff, plenty of choice to eat, plentiful buffet of fresh local food, free flow wine and beer with premium soft drinks and cocktail’s. There is something for everyone here to eat, including a free snack bar by the pool all day. Breakfast had omelettes, eggs, beautiful bread, fruit, cereals, continental cheese, cold cuts etc...
A fabulous hotel steeped in history. The staff are so attentive in service with quality. The quality of menus throughout the day is a testament to the chefs. From reception to housekeeping, I highly commend the high standards set. Bar and food service staff are attentive in their jobs, continuously endeavouring to excel in customer expectations.
Arrived last night and was relived that a late night meal was provided for us as we had missed the dinner service.
Family room was big enough for x2 people and had a sofa -bed. But unfortunately the room had a strong smell of smoke and we could hear the music coming from the bar. So if you’re sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, I would not recommend room 134 on first floor. Having said that, the...
A bit late writing this, but what can I say? The hotel is in a fantastic setting. Minutes away from a beautiful sandy beach and local shops. The hotel itself i can not fault one bit. All the staff, from the receptionist to the cleaners, to the kitchen staff were all very friendly. Especially with my children (aged 6&2). I deleted my old review from last year as I wanted to leave an updated review.
Truly excellent hotel. Yes it’s old, and the rooms are not 5* for sure. BUT they are always immaculately cleaned every day by super friendly cleaning staff. The food is of really high quality, again it’s not like the new Robinsons (Crete etc) but it’s like a good Magic Life and that is absolutely fine 👍 If you ask for a...
This Robinson club felt a bit too old and worn out, specially the rooms' buildings. A good coat of paint is really needed in many areas.
Also, my kids were a bit disappointed by the entertainment and animation on offer (12 and 15 year olds).
I enjoyed the good gym sessions and trainings.
Food was good, but not great, and for the price you pay, I was not hugely impressed.
In general, and considering...
Amazing place. Everything was good : the hotel is similar as the pictures online, staff is sweet. We only eat halal or casher foods and there is so many choice that skipping meat for a while isn’t an issue. I totally recommend that place
Stayed here for a week on my own and was made to feel exceptionally welcome. A vast variety of food, rooms are very clean and to be honest I had so many choices of what to do throughout the day and this was due to the staff- who will go out of there way to make u feel great! Look out for "grumpy grandad" who is just pure gold! Alianna on the front desk with great energy, the staff at the well being...
a brilliant place for families. great and attentive service. tons of entertainment, sports offer and events. the facility overall needs a basic overhaul, but things are re well maintained and very clean. very pleasant and open-minded guests, rare for a tourist club. overall, we can warmly recommend this robinson club!

Wow! What more is there to say? From start to finish, our holiday was superb at this hotel.
The rooms, although a little dated, were clean and comfortable and had amazing views over the pool and down to the beach.
The staff! Truly wonderful. From the team on reception, to the chefs and waiters in the many dining locations, to the incredible animation team - every single one had a smile on their face...
We went to another Iberostar in Crete 2 years ago, but we liked that one better.
There were less pools here, and if you didn't book star prestige, the only pool available is one with music and a lot of people, so not really a relaxing holiday (this'd be a family holiday). We booked star prestige, and therefore had an extra pool and an 16+ zone. This ensured that there was some quiet :)

We spent around ten days at the Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas as a family with an eight-year-old child and overall had a really great time.

What a fantastic hotel and perfect for families. Went with our 4 year old and 16 month old. Pools were great 4 year old loved them all especially the one with the inflatable. 8/10. This hotel is fantastic for first time parents, we stayed at this hotel with our 3 month old baby and was very nervous. We were at the Surf and Sailing school. It is a great facility and we did a SUP course and rented a SUP board. Very friendly and professional staff.
Great resort! Beautiful beach, good food and nice stuff/people! The watersports team did a very good job (sailing, diving and surfing). Nice little restaurant at the beach that hosts an additional late breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms, very good dinner.
The suites are nice and it's overall clean.
This hotel just lacks in details to make it great, but since the prices are fair, it's ok.
And by the way: WiFi is only free in the lobby / pool bar.
Bedroom. Comfy beds, sitting room with TV,, kitchenette , and nice bathroom.
All inclusive. Food very good. Staff excellent. Free WiFi in reception.. enjoyed the outside bar in the evening. Pools are a good size and very clean. Plenty of sun beds, always loads free. You're better off if you have a car as it's up a mountain. Had a great short holiday there.
Nice family experience. Would go back, but Mohammed the grumpy barman can really put a damper on your good time.
Positives:
Location great the hotel is out of the wind we got on the seafront, picturesque. Big rooms (remember this is not self catering, they're not equipped for eating or cooking in the rooms). Chef does a great job, limited selection for a large hotel but well cooked and different every day. Snack bar is cooked to order all day not out of troughs. Free bus to seafront works great. This is our third visit and once again everything regarding this hotel is first class . All the staff are very friendly and helpful , nothing is to much trouble . Everywhere is spotlessly clean . Loved this place.Excellent rooms, and fantastic sea view.Service is top notch, and it shows throughout the hotel. My only issue is the lack of tea making facilities in confort rooms.Would love a hot drink before breakfast on the balcony.Tried to find a small travel kettle in town( no luck). However a fabulous hotel with amazing views. Mark
Another wonderful holiday at El Palacete. Like many of the guests at the hotel we are regular returning visitors and those that are guests for the first time usually express their wish to become part of the returning regulars. This says a great deal for this hotel. The staff in all departments cannot do enough to make your stay pleasurable in every way and we are always welcomed back as returning friends...
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location, food & staff. We stayed in a ‘comfort room’ overlooking the jacuzzi. A glass of champagne on arrival & a fruit platter waiting for us in the room. Rooms are big with plenty of storage space. The only thing missing were tea & coffee making facilities (which I believe are available in the premium rooms) The location is just great, right on the...
Absolutely fabulous. Much needed few days of peace and time to do nothing but enjoy the luxury of lovely food looked after by charming and ever helpful staff. Weather was kind to us but the view of the sea is fantastic at anytime. A gem of a hotel. Great location from where to explore the delights of Fuenteventura or just do little - but in style
This is our sixth visit to the hotel and it never disappoints. It's low key and quiet without all the organised events of a large hotel but that suits us. Nice hotel, beautiful outdoors areas and elegant rooms. Average food buffet. Wish they would give you a decent room option after a complain instead of a lower category one (especially if you booked one of the best types) but overall great experience right in front of the beach.
Fantastic and great staff. So helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was catered for with gluten free being a coeliac. Thank you again Antonio and all the restaurant staff.
Had a lovely relaxing holiday here, 10 days of rest and relaxation. Excellent food, very courteous and friendly staff. No problem finding a free lounger through the day. Stunning location, beautiful beach, clean and inviting. Very good local amenities. Rooms always cleaned well. Could have done with more pillows.
