The mattresses were terribly bad, we sank into them. Food was overall ok but not a single decent piece of meat, not even a chicken was edible. Chewy and yuk. Prawns were good, deserts were good. Snack bar, well... If you do not have high expectations and are ok with chips, salads and ice-cream only, then you are going to like it. We didn't. Evening entertainment....it was lame to be fair. It is better...
All good except entertainment team which was not very good at letting guests know whats happening when and what's next. There are boards which you have to check yourself if you are interested in any activities. Communication is a key ;) also prices at the shops are a little bit rediculous so if you need anything - there is a little town near by. Take a taxi and go there ;)food was ok.sometimes some...
Amazing place, where everyone can find something interesting! Multiple swimming pools suitable for adults and children. Plenty of space, clear and clean water, variable depths and bar with drinks and snacks right in the middle! Food Hall with a HUGE ‼️ selection of tasty and fresh food. Every day they serve different food for lunch and dinner but also offer some regular dishes such as pizza and pasta...
It was a great holiday with my family. The hotel is very good and the food was fantastic – always fresh and with a lot of variety, including options for children. A beautiful beach is located very close to the hotel, perfect for morning walks and swimming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There were also fun activities for both kids and adults. We truly...
This is an amazing hotel, the service, the amenities, the food, everything was incredible. The my Mo club was incredible and made my kids feel like at home.
It really is an amazing hotel, its over a large area, it was early February when we came, beautiful pools (although the largest was being refurbished at the time of our stay) not very busy. It would be difficult if anyone had walking issues, without a frame or wheelchair, plenty of wheelchair ramps though and lifts. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Don't know how people can complain about this hotel or the staff. Just got back from a 9 night stay and thought everything was fabulous. Yes the rooms are bit dated but who goes on holiday to spend time in the room ? The bed and pillows were comfy and the sea view was lovely. There was a lot of choice in the restaurant. If anyone complains about the food then they must be ultra fussy. My hubby is a...
We had such a nice holiday in the hotel. Paid for all-inclusive which gives you everything you want... beach bar, snack bar all day along. Nice pools, lots of sunbeds... and if you want to be far from everything, just go down the golden sandy Jandia beach where you can relax by yourself. [The beach is huge] We wanted to say bye to "our" cleaner lady but she wasn't there on our last day, so.... thank...
Firstly, I have read recent reviews and agree this hotel shouldn’t be listed as a 4star, as it is a 3star at best a 3star+. The hotel needs some serious money spending on it before it can call itself a 4star. The hotel pool area whilst nice is in need of some TLC…tiles need grouting/repair, wood needs painting, bridge to pool bar feels like at any point you may fall through and into the pool. We were...
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless, and the surroundings are simply breathtaking. Every meal was a delight, and the staff were unbelievably friendly, always making us feel special. Waking up to the unforgettable views of the ocean and the sparkling azure water was like a dream. These were...
Stayed here for a week September 2025. Firstly it's not a 4 star hotel. 3 or 3+ at best. What could be 4* is if you upgrade to Royal level which costs 30€ pppd. When you look on the travel agents web sites photos of the hotel, it's pics from this part of the hotel they share. Which is a little bit devious. Also it states there are 2 restaurants to choose from, but only if you upgrade otherwise it's...
Canaries Good value stay. We drove down from the airport which was very easy. Great walks along the beach.

We were a party of 6 and a little worried when we read the reviews on here. However, we needn't have worried. The hotel staff are super friendly, the food at the restaurant is excellent - a huge variety and flavoursome. There is a snack bar for those who prefer nuggets and hot dogs. The rooms are spacious and clean. Plenty of activities and a good atmosphere by the pool. Sunbeds always available. And...
We have been here with my 4 year old daughter and we liked it very much, also the pools and the barcy kids club. We also have been on the beach, they offer two free of charge transfers per day. The best was the waterpark next to the hotel that is also included. Only small topic was the low quality of wifi in the rooms (just available in the public zones), but they are working on it already. Food was...
We recently spent a fantastic week (mid-term) at the Occidental Jandía Mar in Morro Jable, Fuerteventura, staying in a deluxe suite with an ocean view. As a family of four (two adults and two children), we couldn’t have asked for a better mix of relaxation and fun. The water park and daily activities kept both the kids and adults entertained. Our suite was spacious and cleaned daily to a high standard...
Verified Misled on holiday hotel was 3 star your… Misled on holiday hotel was 3 star your site said 4 the hotel had paint flaking off the buildings cracked tiles all over the floors and even missing ones on stairways also a lot of tiles rocking . Fantastic entertainment super funny and creative entertainment every day, me and the family loved it, got everyone involved especially in and around the pool. Brilliant 👏 👏 👏
Just got back from 10 days away. We were a bit nervous coming here but there was no need to worry, we had a great time! There are plenty of sun loungers, you can always get one, but if you want a sunbed in the shade you will need to set your alarm and be out by 7am to play the sunbed game. It's a shame, the hotel could stop this by enforcing the rule of not being allowed to reserve sunbeds, but until...

We went in UK Feb half term. Great location for winter sun!! Hotel is not 4 star. But that's because they do have a staff shortage problem in busy holiday times, its a big hotel many people including large families. Staff do their best. I think it's not helped by tourists leaving their food and mess. At least try and create less work in busy times! For the price, you do get what you pay for. I think...
The hotel staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. But location is very far from the airport so you should definitely plan and book your transportation in advance. If not taxi price is over a hundred euros. Food is cold and drinks at the bar are done in a rush, I assume lack of staff. Definitely not a four star resort
Loved this hotel. There is nothing of note to complain about it. It was clean, and the room was fab with a beautiful view. Plenty of food to choose from, fresh pizzas were lovely. The swimming pool on the upper level from the bar was quiet, and we never struggled to find a sunbed!!! It catered for my mobility issues. All in all, it was a great holiday, and we will definitely return.
Third visit to Jandia, first at this hotel. As with most hotels reviews mention cold food and issues with maintenance, I had no issues whatsoever. Pleasant check in, very clean room in a great location. Good selection of food in the buffet restaurant, as with any buffet food is not piping hot. Easy access to promenade, beach and mountain trails. Plenty of sunbeds and seats, no queues for drinks. Daily...
Location is superb. Service in reception was great as in the restaurant. Good quality food but no so good on drinks Rooms were a bit dirty. Short staffed, so staff does a quick job. Don't refill shower gel/toilet paper...or clean the floor. Shower was dripping brown from walls on our first shower.... Main reception was clean but communal toilets very dirty. Dispensers broken and never fixed. Corridors...
Typical 4 star all inclusive. Room was spacious, clean, and cool. The food was always as good as it can be for typical all inclusive buffet style, always plenty of choice. Ignore those who moan about the food those people have champagne taste and lemonade budget! As for security, simply keep your balcony door closedand locked! It's typical of any resort that thieves hover anywhere you go. The air con...

Apart of mosquito killers and on screen cover band killing evening entertainment, perfect stay! Sorry but after dinner tonight I can't give you less!
We cannot count any more how many times we have been here. It is always like coming home for us. We love this place and enjoyed an exceptional Easter holiday. Everything was outstanding. Great food, great entertainment for all age groups, great sports activities. It is always hard to leave this paradise like place.
The Robinson Club is nice, but unfortunately, the watersports offerings have deteriorated. The head of the base is unfriendly and lazy. Ultimately, his focus is on preserving his equipment and selling courses to the guests. He doesn’t let guests who know how to handle the equipment go out on the water as soon as there’s a bit of wind. For us, this was a dealbreaker. Even complaining to the club management...
This was the second time we’ve been to a Robinson resort and this didn’t disappoint. The setting was fantastic as were the facilities. The site is on a hill above a very nice sandy beach (probably the best that I’ve seen in the canaries). There were some mixed reviews on rooms but we found them to be very clean and pretty modern - Probably not as good as some 5* resorts but far better than we expected...
I've had an amazing stay in Robinson Esquinzo Playa. One of the best hotels I've ever visited! ❤ The hotel is placed quite high and it offers you breathtaking ocean views. Right at the hotel exit there is a charming path that leads you to the beach. The beach is gorgeous, it's very wide and not so crowded. It takes maybe 10min to go down there, the way is pleasant and again, views are stunning. What...
I deleted my old review from last year as I wanted to leave an updated review. Truly excellent hotel. Yes it’s old, and the rooms are not 5* for sure. BUT they are always immaculately cleaned every day by super friendly cleaning staff. The food is of really high quality, again it’s not like the new Robinsons (Crete etc) but it’s like a good Magic Life and that is absolutely fine 👍 If you ask for a...

Wow! What more is there to say? From start to finish, our holiday was superb at this hotel. The rooms, although a little dated, were clean and comfortable and had amazing views over the pool and down to the beach. The staff! Truly wonderful. From the team on reception, to the chefs and waiters in the many dining locations, to the incredible animation team - every single one had a smile on their face...
We went to another Iberostar in Crete 2 years ago, but we liked that one better. There were less pools here, and if you didn't book star prestige, the only pool available is one with music and a lot of people, so not really a relaxing holiday (this'd be a family holiday). We booked star prestige, and therefore had an extra pool and an 16+ zone. This ensured that there was some quiet :) So please...
Perfect Family Holiday – So Many Thoughtful Touches! We had an amazing experience at Iberostar Waves Fuerteventura – truly one of the best family holidays we’ve had! We spent around ten days at the Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas as a family with an eight-year-old child and overall had a really great time. The Good - The rooms, pool area & restaurant are clean & staff in all areas work hard & are helpful. The Bad - The FOOD IS VERY POOR mainly the meat & fish to say its a 4* the food is not good for this reason we would not return. Location is great right next to the gorgeous beach. Stayed at this hotel for my first solo trip. Resort is nice with lovely sandy beaches. Hotel is well equipped, no shortage of sun loungers. Plenty of souvenir and other shops nearby. Beach is 5 mins from the hotel. There are some nice restaurants and bars which are approx 15 mins walk away. Room was ok. It had a safe at an incremental cost. Bar well stocked. Entertainment staff on site for exercise...
We stayed for a week AI with a premium drinks package. Great hotel, lovely staff, plenty of choice to eat, plentiful buffet of fresh local food, free flow wine and beer with premium soft drinks and cocktail’s. There is something for everyone here to eat, including a free snack bar by the pool all day. Breakfast had omelettes, eggs, beautiful bread, fruit, cereals, continental cheese, cold cuts etc...
A fabulous hotel steeped in history. The staff are so attentive in service with quality. The quality of menus throughout the day is a testament to the chefs. From reception to housekeeping, I highly commend the high standards set. Bar and food service staff are attentive in their jobs, continuously endeavouring to excel in customer expectations.
Arrived last night and was relived that a late night meal was provided for us as we had missed the dinner service. Family room was big enough for x2 people and had a sofa -bed. But unfortunately the room had a strong smell of smoke and we could hear the music coming from the bar. So if you’re sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, I would not recommend room 134 on first floor. Having said that, the...
A bit late writing this, but what can I say? The hotel is in a fantastic setting. Minutes away from a beautiful sandy beach and local shops. The hotel itself i can not fault one bit. I spend a nice time in this club, The service from the workers is excelent , flor sure my plan is come back as soon as possible to this place!
The best hotel in Fuerteventura, the restaurant service is fantastic. Without a doubt, the best thing is the pool bar, with a wide variety of drinks, and the staff is unbeatable. The best latte macchiato I've ever had there. We'll definitely be back.
Excellent experience, especially at the pool bar and restaurant. They always serve you with a smile and offer everything you need. We'll definitely be back.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect—right next to the beautiful beach and close to great restaurants and attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Overall it was 5/5 experience at the hotel, the staff are all great and the shows are increbile you can see they put a lot of work to it. The bartenders are magnificent they seem to enjoy working with each other, the look like a family. Abian was the best, that guy deserves a raise.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms, very good dinner.
The suites are nice and it's overall clean. This hotel just lacks in details to make it great, but since the prices are fair, it's ok. And by the way: WiFi is only free in the lobby / pool bar.
Bedroom. Comfy beds, sitting room with TV,, kitchenette , and nice bathroom. All inclusive. Food very good. Staff excellent. Free WiFi in reception.. enjoyed the outside bar in the evening. Pools are a good size and very clean. Plenty of sun beds, always loads free. You're better off if you have a car as it's up a mountain. Had a great short holiday there.
Nice family experience. Would go back, but Mohammed the grumpy barman can really put a damper on your good time.
Positives: Location great the hotel is out of the wind we got on the seafront, picturesque. Big rooms (remember this is not self catering, they're not equipped for eating or cooking in the rooms). Chef does a great job, limited selection for a large hotel but well cooked and different every day. Snack bar is cooked to order all day not out of troughs. Free bus to seafront works great. This is our third visit and once again everything regarding this hotel is first class . All the staff are very friendly and helpful , nothing is to much trouble . Everywhere is spotlessly clean . Loved this place.Excellent rooms, and fantastic sea view.Service is top notch, and it shows throughout the hotel. My only issue is the lack of tea making facilities in confort rooms.Would love a hot drink before breakfast on the balcony.Tried to find a small travel kettle in town( no luck). However a fabulous hotel with amazing views. Mark
Another wonderful holiday at El Palacete. Like many of the guests at the hotel we are regular returning visitors and those that are guests for the first time usually express their wish to become part of the returning regulars. This says a great deal for this hotel. The staff in all departments cannot do enough to make your stay pleasurable in every way and we are always welcomed back as returning friends...
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location, food & staff. We stayed in a ‘comfort room’ overlooking the jacuzzi. A glass of champagne on arrival & a fruit platter waiting for us in the room. Rooms are big with plenty of storage space. The only thing missing were tea & coffee making facilities (which I believe are available in the premium rooms) The location is just great, right on the...
Absolutely fabulous. Much needed few days of peace and time to do nothing but enjoy the luxury of lovely food looked after by charming and ever helpful staff. Weather was kind to us but the view of the sea is fantastic at anytime. A gem of a hotel. Great location from where to explore the delights of Fuenteventura or just do little - but in style
This is our sixth visit to the hotel and it never disappoints. It's low key and quiet without all the organised events of a large hotel but that suits us. The bedrooms are comfortable and all sea facing onto the beautiful beach below. It is well placed for visiting the old part of town which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants, but still within easy walking distance of the more touristy shops...

After a previous stay back in 2006, we (me, my partner and my mum) decided to stay again at this property for a late summer holiday this year. Stayed at the RIU Calypso from 26/3 to 9/4 having previously stayed there in March 2022. We were just as happy with our second stay as we were with our first stay. Another fantastic holiday. Staff so helpful and friendly. An excellent choice of food, plenty choices of vegetables. Our third visit and already planning another. Great position right on the beach nice walks. Thanks to all involved in the running of this great hotel .
he location was central & overlooked the beach with views up the coast. The pool was small but on a lovely terrace & you could order drinks to be brought up from the bar downstairs. The rooms were cleaned everyday, the staff were friendly & helpful.
Having stayed at the Riu Tres Islas in Corralejo every year for 20 years, we decided to have a change and chose the Calpyso mainly for it's 'adult-only' status.
