The location is very private and beautiful, however the hotel looks and feels tired and need urgent repairs and upgrades. The serving staff is excellent as is the food. a huge downside is having to get up early to have a remote chance of a chair at the beach or the pool, they should just ban people putting down towels and arrive at 2 pm.

Formentera is one of the loveliest places I‘ve traveled to. The water is so incredible clear and clean. The Riu La Mola has very nice, forthcoming and professional staff! Valeria at the front desk was beyond helpful and welcoming. The rooms could use an upgrade (Climate is rattling, furniture has seen better days, mirrors are cloudy) but are very clean and to be honest: you stay outdoors mostly anyway...

Five stars for Riu Formentara! My family and I stayed at Riu for about a week. The location is stunning and absolutely perfect. But somehow, the staff and service were even better. I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Food was delicious, staff very polite and friendly (specially Miguel, Javier and Virginia). The only downside is the price (but this is Formentera ) and the staff who handles reservation over the phone, they can’t help you at all

Clean and complete facilities, nice beds, but if you are looking for soul I would bit recommend this place. We wanted to stay in Gecko but it was sold out, so we just went over there for breakfast and yoga.

The hotel is nice and is well prepared for COVID-19 pandemic. I like this hotel This is a decent four star hotel, where necessary they have bought this up to todays standard, but they haven't gone all out for a the 'white' experience. The bedroom had been completely renovated. There are some very nice touches that make you feel special and sets this hotel apart from similar more expensive hotels. Fantastic location. Wonderful kids club! The rooms could use an upgrade. No air conditioning, but it's surprisingly cool with constant sea breezes. Gigantic buffet with many options. All rooms are off a main walkway & it's quite noisy up until 1 in the morning.

I stayed at the Gekko Beach in the summer of 2017 as part of the Forementera Yoga programme. The yoga was amazing and faultless but the hotel was below par. Perfect little beach bar in los barilles! Feet in the sand.. Gorgeous view of the sea of Cortez and the kite surfers ! Great happy hour.. 2 for one rum punch! Food was great.. People were great very friendly and helpful.. A great place to hang out for the afternoon!

We stayed in this hotel for a beautiful and delicious breakfast overlooking the sea, as you can go even if you are not a hotel guest. Very nice and nice place, very kind and efficient staff, especially Rachele the very helpful and attentive waitress. Very good breakfast, all fresh, for € 19 you can order everything without limits! Totally positive experience. Simple but clean rooms equipped with the necessary for the stay. It is a branch of the nearby 4-star Insoltel, where you can enjoy all the services including the excellent (for being outside Italy) meals. Excellent location on the island, every place on the island can be reached in max 20 minutes by scooter. Recommended.

The place is modest. The rooms located on the side facing the sun have a musty smell. The rooms on the west side, very hot. In general in Spain air conditioning is minimal. This accommodation is very expensive...... for the same money you can rent a house for the same number of people.

The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable and the room is very nice and in order. Pity about the lack of outlets in the room (we had to unplug the TV and move some furniture to get a second outlet but the cell phone), as well as for the fridge: very very small and is not great for a stay at sea as one needs lots of fresh water! Also missing a drying rack or a wire on the balcony where hang the towels...

Experience completely positive. Surely repeatable. Excellent cleaning and comfort. Fully functioning hot water as well as independent air conditioning. Fridge in the room very convenient for storing drinks and fruit. Good breakfast, large assortment of products, not high quality but acceptable. Balcony in the room and safe present. Wonderful location, a stone's throw from Playa Arenals, which can be admired from the balcony of the room. The super friendly staff made us feel right at home! Top breakfast and aperitif !! We will definitely be back !!!

If you truly want to experience Formentera nature you should stay at Hostal Santi. I am still dreaming of waking up in the sea-view room.

Very friendly atmosphere, the owner was very polite and nice, amazing beach just in front of the hostal with two great restaurants. Breakfast and the rooms were okay for the price!

A place to call home. Small and well organized hotel facing the most beautiful coast of Formentera. The hosts are impeccable, the rooms are simple and the breakfast plentiful. Highly recommended!
