I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its excellent location, along with the high quality of the food and professional service, made for a delightful experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained.
The only surprising thing was that you had to pay extra for drinks during dinner. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to Mega Park caused some noise, but the double-glazed windows did a great job of blocking it out.
The pool and other facilities, like parking, car rental, bicycle, and scooter rentals, were clean and top-notch.
Overall, it was a great hotel, and I will definitely return on my future trips.

Really lovely hotel and certainly 4-star. We’ve stayed at the 5-star opposite and not too much of a difference.
We chose to stay here owing to the emphasis on more family/kiddie entertainment which was good (mini disco our kid loved!). Although t-shirt painting at €10 is a bit much :).

Food has been good and waiting staff are really accommodating. We were here for some quite bad rain storms as well but felt safe and looked after.

The vast majority of the bar staff have been really friendly, Ivan in particular has been kind and really sweet to our little one. The only thing we would suggest is a bit of retraining in customer service from the bar team leader (Maxi or Max I think his name was). Very unfriendly to customers who are enjoying family time away just to be met with, at best, a grunt…. We actually felt the need to wait for other bar staff a few times just so we were greeted with a smile.

But other than that (quite important) issue of unfriendlyness from just one staff member, we really enjoyed our stay :)

Our hotel room was spacious with a big balcony. The hotel breakfast was great. Every day a big selection of fruits, sweets and brunch items. Whenever we asked for something, they brought it very quickly to our room. The outdoor pool was a bit crowded with kids and families playing in the pool but the indoor pool was very quiet and peaceful with saunas next to it. There are bus stops very close to the hotel. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. There is a big night club across the street that made the area even more crowded at nights. But we didn’t get disturbed by the night club as there was no noise. In general the staff in the hotel were nice, but the person who took care of our checkout was not friendly at all!
Also the staff were knowledgeable about the hotel business and hosting, but not about the city, commuting and local info much.

Supurb hotel, we got a very nice suite for a rather cheap upgrade price. Very, but really very friendly staff who helped with all sorts of requests, adequately and quick. Breakfast but also diner was very comprehensive and nice, even we didn't book diner upfront we did eat here for several days as it was that good. Location next to the beach and the mega park hall, but no complaints about noice or whatever from the (mostly) German youth going there. Simply a lovely hotel, and therefore 5 stars for sure! :-)

Had a wonderful short-stay (2 days) in Hipotels Gran Playa.

A cosy double room, with a sofa. We really appreciated a large room space (33 m2).

The hotel is more oriented towards German tourists, but a really kind reception staff were fully fluent in English. They had answered all question we had asked them.

The room was a very silent one, did not hear any noise during a night.

Food options were wonderful, both for breakfast and dinner. Various choices of meat, fishes, salads, charcuterie boards, specials of the day. Juice freshes during breakfast time. Tasty and reasonably priced cocktails (€6-8, I opted for Caipirinha and Long Island Tea) in a lobby bar.

A basic spa service (inside heated pool, whirlpools, sauna) is included in the price. We were busy with sightseeing and walking, that we did not use it.

Fantastic rooms (ours was on the 5th floor), amazing view, and a location that is excellent both with a rented car and public transport.

Food was great, both breakfast and dinner, there’s always something for your taste.

Definitely will try and come back next year! For us it’s much nicer in the off-season (we visited mid march) compared to crowded and loud summer.

The only thing to criticize would be the service level of certain staff members. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but we experienced it every day for the whole stay. Too bad, because there is nothing else to criticize about this lovely place :)

The location is very good, better than inside of Palma, you'll get on a highway without much traffic and you can be everywhere on the island without worrying. I would recommend ordering breakfast here because it's better than 99% of the places in Palma, you get everything you could ever imagine, from pre-prepared sandwiches to high quality dark hot chocolate. At night and early in the morning it's basically a totally quiet place.
