Hotel Hispania

For a 4 star hotel, this was so disappointing. The halls and overall impression is that the hotel is really worn down, but used to be nice.
It’s really annoying that it is allowed to smoke at the pool area, and at the roof terrace the music was like a disco… for an adult cous vacation this is not the place to stay.

We had both breakfast and dinner included and that, on the other hand, was really good!
No complains on the service either.

The hotel is located right by the beach, and that is nice during the day, for a swim, but at nighttime there is a lot of noise… definitely more of a youth area. So if you are 20-30 years old : great place! If not, maybe choose something else.

I've not been to a 4 star hotel ever, that charges for a room safe or beach towels, or has plastic uncomfortable garden furniture in the reception area, and allows bicycles to left all over place.

I would put this at 2 - 3 MAX.

This is a basic hotel that serves a purpose, to offer a base camp for those who want the night life of the strip.
The room was clean and basically furnished, the beds are rock hard and uncomfortable, there is no T or coffee making facility, there is a fridge for cold drinks. The bathroom was good but basic.
the dinning room is very big, noisy, with no decoration it lacks any charm, it felt more like a basic cafeteria, not a place to have a nice relaxing dinner.
The food was quite good, we ate breakfast every day and 2 dinners out of 4, fresh food and grill cooking was nice to see, nice fresh fish and meat. we did struggle to get drinks, and ended up not having a drink with our meal, (there was 2 drinks staff for 100 people plus)
generally the staff were friendly and engaging, with a couple of staff really making a difference and of course a couple that very obviously didn't like there work !!
The highlight of this hotel is the roof bar, a great place to have a drink and watch the sunset ( as long as your not bothered by big groups of drunk tourists)

I'm glad we only had 4 nights here, if we had booked for longer I would have found another hotel. I would not come back, nor recommend this as a 4 star hotel, if you have a 4 star hotel expectation, this is not it.

I would recommend it for people that want something basic, functional and close to all the bars, as its great location to stumble back to drunk ( as we witnessed most nights)

Clean beach front hotel. Room lacked electric kettle, etc. There is no complementary water in the fridge.
Staff is very happy and helpful.
Restaurant and the breakfast outstanding, Thank you, restaurant staff!
