I am here at the moment, the hotel is nice and clean, lovely location next to the beach. The rooms are nice. The main problem is everyone gets up early to save sun beds and don’t come back to them until about midday so people are walking around trying to sit somewhere but can’t as all sun beds have towels on but no one actually sitting there. Hotel needs to do more to police this as it’s not fair. Towels are 10 euro deposit each.
We are all inclusive and it’s nice.

Nice resort right on the beach with lovely sea views. Lots of sunbeds around the 2 large pools. Food is sometimes a bit repetitive but still good standard. Reception staff very helpful.

The rooms are very clean but quite basic decor. Location of the hotel is ok, very close to the beach and a few shops and resturants but in general it is quite far away from the bigger town. It all depends what you like I suppose. The hotel is next to the airport and yes, you can hear the airplanes taking off and landing but it is not too bad. You can get used to it. There are a two swimming pools... one with only cold water and the second one with a heated water which is amazing for children. There is also a shallow end at the pool for children. The food is fresh, I would say it is tasety but in general there is not a big selection. I would say it is a 3+ star hotel. We were not able to book a SPA as it was fully booked for the next 3 days so it looks like you have to book well in advance.

This the second time of visiting and like the first, we had a few issues.
Rooms
Pros - Decent size and clean.
Cons - double room was just two single beds put together that slide apart when either person attempt to roll over. Air Con is just noise coming out of the wall. WiFi doesn’t work in room 3068 but works on the balcony and around the pool below, go figure? We’re still waiting for this to be fixed even after checking out.
Seaview only applies to a very small majority of the hotel as very high walls prevent this.
Service - Terrible, staff immediately on the defensive and don’t move an inch to help, accommodate, or show any sort of customer service. Lying comes too easy. Only person that stood out was a lad called Ryan who you could tell wanted to help but was frozen with fear if he did.
We were never wished a good morning or even smiled at when passing through public areas.
Restaurant is just the same stuff lunch and evening meal. If booking maybe just do B&B, but in my opinion seriously consider going self catering that way you can’t be disappointed.
Spa area is nice but again you need to pay for this and even have to bring your own towel.
Location is good for a lot of bars and restaurants and Puerto del Carmen is a nice picturesque 45 min walk away, or 10 mins max in a taxi costing between 5-10€.
Pool is nice and relaxing but I do find it off putting to hear the animation team constantly trying to upsell other services in the hotel, it’s like you’re a cash cow they’re trying to milk for every little thing you have but don’t provide any decent service. You can’t have it both way guys.
I’m not gonna go in to the ins and outs of our main issues but even the holiday rep is pretty powerless to help as the management clearly rule with an iron fist, and this is reflected in the lack of personality within the staff at the hotel.
This hotel would be amazing if a few tweaks were made to the strict policies and if they updated the bed situation.
I will come back to the area just not this hotel.

The problem is the trust is lost now. You had the opportunity at the time to make things right and accommodate the simplest of requests, yet this was not done. If you are genuine you would reach out properly and speak to us personally. Instead this just comes across as meaningless and an attempt at saving the reputation of your hotels brand. You have our details on file, I await your contact.

Overall, fine.
Not impressed with the room given, very dated except from bathroom, bed comfortable. Small little things everywhere you notice that should be fixed or look better that would make it a genuine 4 star.
Food, fine. Location, decent. They charge 40€ for an iron which is bang out of order, for the week, wasn’t given one for even a day. Huge hotel, nice open water feature in the middle.

The hotel was lovely, staff are great and helpful. The animation team are brilliant with keeping the little ones entertained and always smiling and very energetic. Food and drinks are good although the vegetarian food could be better. The domestic staff are lovely and work extremely hard. Close to airport, beach and local amenities and evening entertainment is good mini disco is fun for all ages. Only negative is everyone reserves sunbeds by putting towels on them really early so if you’re not up before 7am you won’t get sunbeds.

Nicely appointed hotel in a great location. Only 5 minutes to the airport. Large rooms. Big pool area. Food standard what you would expect for all inclusive but changing dishes every day at lunch and dinner. Haven't checked out the spa

Average hotel. It does not deserve 4 stars. You have to look for pluses more because there are few of them. There are many different and better hotels. Including average food. It is focused on a large number of people, so it is what it is.

Staying at Hotel Beatriz playa and Spa now. Absolutely great. All aspects of this hotel is superb. Staff throughout the hotel are marvelous. Reception very helpful. Restaurant staff 100%. Cleaning staff 100%. Hotel cleanliness 100%. As far as sunbeds go just get up early and put your towels on beds. Just go with the flow and don't moan. Thank you Hotel Beatriz for for our long awaited break
