I stayed at this hotel with my family recently this November. Very attentive and kind staff. Very friendly. Great location to all the great restaurants nearby and right on the beach!
The hotel is quite decent for the price, the room and bathroom were nice and comfortable. The air-con was great and the breakfast was also really decent. The hotel offers sun beds with an umbrella right by the beach for €5 per person, for the whole day, which was also good with a small bar to order drinks at.
The staff is great, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent. The location is great. I highly recommend it. Enjoy. Very nice and classy people.
Nice staff very clean hotel good location shops where you can find anythig very nice restaurans all around and i recomand the rooms with the see view!!! Very good experince !!
Beach front hotel, with limited free double parking on road front (leave car keys at reception). Secure paid parking at 40 metres. The beach is very close and there numerous bars and restaurants in the immediate vacinity. Choice of beach or high street view rooms with balconies. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and fairly clean. Street view rooms can suffer from noise disturbance from the road. Room...

Very close to the beach 100 yards away room is cosy and clean. Staff were very friendly. And could speak English. Lots of bars and restaurants around.
Loved it. great hotel right on the beach had a marvellous room with a balcony facing the sea, shame they made us pay for it.
Pretty good for the price right by a beach with paddle boarding and a kayak. Alot of food places near by and the twin room was a good size.
great little hotel, nice and clean. basic but then again the price reflects this. The breakfast is not worth the 8 euros each per day. You are better off heading out to a local coffee shop. The beach is great and the sun loungers are £4 per person per day. worth the money. The bar outside the hotel on the beach front is one of the best bars in Rincon de la Victoria if not the best! I would recommend...

the hotel is new, clean, comfortable and good room size, the hotel provide a fridge which is very good.
Great location near the motorway, but not bothered by it. Also very short journey (5mins) to the beach. We had a junior suite with a very comfortable sofa bed in the sitting room. Very large king bed in the bedroom. Airconditioning in both rooms. Fabulous shower.
Breakfast was in the conservatory overlooking the golfcourse. Hubby enjoyed the "full English" breakfast, I sometimes had the "special" which was Iberian ham, cheese, half an avocado, hardboiled egg, tomato puree, bread. Plus freshly-squeezed orange juice and coffee. Breakfast was included in the price so good value. You could have a sandwich or toasted roll with either bacon...

It was clean and the terrace was great. The location was also very good; it was quiet and it was 5 minutes away from the beach and about 20 minutes to the city centre by bus. The only down side was the fact that the rooms weren't too big and the WiFi wasn't very good, but apart from that it was very good in general.

Excellent value for money. Decorated with great taste. Refined and quiet place. Owners always very attentive. A wonderful and well-kept garden
Charming hotel, full of small details, with careful attention and a princely garden where you can spend moments of absolute relaxation. For those who want to escape from the big and impersonal big hotels

Fabulous rooms with ice cold air conditioning . Very clean and superb comfortable bed. Easy walk to beach and lots of lovely restaurants . Bus stop outside and easy access to Malaga old town . Staff all lovely friendly .
Such a great hotel in a perfect location. Staff were lovely (we only spoke Spanish). Rooms quiet thanks to new windows, showers had great water pressure. A/C fully adjustable. Mini fridge allows you to stock up on juices and drinks This is not the Ritz Carleton but for the price, it’s perfect.
We had a lovely stay at Elcano . We spoke very little spanish. The staff we so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. This is a small hotel. Very clean and tidy
I spent 10 days in Andalusia, travelling around and this is the only place where I had a good sleep. The bed is really comfortable and the room is very silent. The shower is perfect. Close by the beach and restaurants. Everyone was really helpful and welcoming. It was short but very nice experience.
Perfect if u want to be outside the rush and busy district of malaga. Close by the beach, nice and cosy rooms and especially a perfect price! Very friendly staff en for 10 euros for a taxi u are in the center of malaga.
Great hotel, clean, modern and good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Just need better tea/coffee facilities. Deserves to be a 3 star hotel. A little gem 🥰

Amazing hotel! If you can, ask for one of the 2 attic rooms. The view is amazing and you can take a dip in the jacuzzi on the roof terras. Fall asleep with the sound of the waves and you can basically stay from breakfast till dinner. Great food, good coffee and very nice staff. Thank you!

We rented the beach beds for a day and the service provided was amazing. They really thought about everything: bucket to clean your feet, shades, mini table, charging station etc. Drinks and food were served right on beach and everything was delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Special shout to the Brazilian waitress who super helpful during our stay.
The food was fine, and the location by the beach is great. However we won't be back, as this is one of the few places we've eaten at in Spain (and the only one in Pedregalejo) that automatically added a 10% "tip" to our bill, so watch out for that.

Clean, calm and rather comfortable, situated in a small town about 15 minutes by bus from downtown Málaga. Perfect if all you need is a place to sleep. The breakfast is not worth the price in my opinion, but there are some good places close by that serve breakfast daily, at a better price.
An amazing hotel! The hotel is right up a small hill from the beach. The room are spacious and looks really modern. It’s clean and the service is great. Cheap prices. Only downside is very bad parking space in the streets.

One of the best hotels we have ever been to. It is decorated with taste, has beautiful views, rooms are great, and service was amazing (some of the best service we have ever seen in a hotel). Overall great.
We would like to thank everyone at this hotel for making one of the most important days of our lives truly unforgettable. The efforts and gestures of people we had never met before, in a city we had never seen, to make this moment perfect, were simply incredible.
Amazingly beautiful hotel, feels like staying in an alcazar. Very big choice for breakfast and everything plentiful, very fresh and tasty. Very comfy beds. Stuff extremely nice and helpful. Great place to stay during low season.
This hotel made us fall in love with Malaga. Fantastic place. Extremely welcoming and warm staff. Will go back again....
Loved every minute of our 5 day stay. Perfect location on a little hill outside of Malaga, secluded and tranquil, yet still on walking distance from the beach, some shops and restaurants. A really lovely place. You feel like being with friends due to the warm hospitallity and openess. They offer free bikes for a ride to the near beach and downtown to beautiful Málaga with ist many sights and decent places full of charming people.
Been there 4 days and enjoy every minute! Super friendly owner and all workers! Nice location, few min to the beach, not far from the center . Wish them all the best and hope to come there soon again
Excellent hotel to spend some days in Malaga. Ivan, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful and gave us ideas for restaurants and visits. The room (we were 2 adults and 2 children) was big, well isolated and the hotel is really charming. No doubt that we will book it again for our next visit to Malaga!
Enjoyed our stay! Perfect location, specially considering the bikes you can borrow to smoothly get around town. The pool is great for cooling off on hot summer days. We felt like we had a secret hideout in the otherwise city that is otherwise packed with tourists. Would gladly stay here again!
Couldn't recommend this place more... it's beautiful, great neighborhood and especially the service is amazing. The owner is willing to help with everything, and really treats guests with care. The suite is beautiful and extremely comfortable, as are all the common areas. After being here twice in 2016 and 2017, we'll definitely return whenever we're in Malaga! :)

Stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to Southern Spain. Room was clean and had a coffee maker and safe, which was nice. There was a tiny balcony with a couple chairs and a table. Fantastic hotel on edge of Malaga. Perfect location for the beach and port 2 minutes walk from the beach. 20 minutes walk from the port. 35 minutes walk from train station. It offered everything I wanted from a hotel. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Clean bedrooms. Great value. Other guests were a little loud until midnight, but then quietened down.
I wanted something close to the beach and this is a walk away. The lobby and the small terrace at the entrance area are kind of cute, and very comfortable. I don't give it 5 because it doesn't have swimming pool... But who needs it if you have the beach close by!
Okay, this is a cute hotel with super friendly staff, very clean and cozy. I did find it however to be very noisy, especially once breakfast kicked off in the morning, it sounded like the kitchen was two meters from my pillow and plates were being tossed around non stop. I would imagine rooms above the ground floor would have to be quieter than ground floor, so when booking, seek a higher level floor
Superior price value, clean, and great staff. Breakfast crew fantastic. Hope to stay again soon. Highly recommended and a nice walking or convenient low cost bus ride to museums and high end restaurants. A must when in Malaga.
I kindly recommened and i'm fully satisfied that i've chosen this hotel for my holidays ;) really close to the beach and to the city center! Perfect service :)

For a 3 star hotel, fantastic! Big rooms, big balconies with sea views, outdoor pool & hot tub, etc! This hotel is right on the beach 🏖️ & only a 5min to the heart of city centre! We used the hotel bikes to fly around the city going for meals, activities, etc. Great value considering location & amenities :)
Pretty good location, We had the wrong side of the hotel facing the mountains. No sea view. The room had alot of noise not sure where it came from. Bed was good, location superb. Small fridge and coffee machine (you can use your own Nespresso cups -supermarket is around the corner.
The breakfast is really good, the pool area as well, only the fence around for safety looks displaced. The personal is nice, the room was OK, it's nice to be close to the beach, on the other hand, it was also very loud because of the main road in the back. The only issue that was not solved during our stay was the stench from the sewer. This was really an issue 😕
Myself and my daughter had a great stay at this hotel. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and found all of the hotel staff to be friendly, approachable and helpful. The pool area is small but it was never an issue if you wanted a sun bed, maybe different in peak season though. Reception are treating you like a perfect stranger, it’s very disappointing to have such experience of a bad attitude and lack of flexibility for any kind of demand. Rooms are very good. Breakfast is also very good. Localization is close to the beach. If these 3 points weren’t nice I would put a 1 star just for the bad client consideration.
Lovely hotel - great rooms and amenities. The breakfast is delicious, but the cooked breakfast isn't hot! Please keep it under heating lamps! I really enjoyed the location. It's pretty easy to walk to the city centre. The rooftop lounge was great. Breakfast is really good. The room gets a low rating for a terrible bed and pillow. We loved our stay at Hotel California. It was easy to find, using public transport, which is excellent ( no 3 bus from outside Malaga Central train station- train direct from the airport) and easy to access the old Quarter using the same bus- 10 minute ride. The decor in the hotel lobby and shared areas is quirky, old fashioned and nostalgic. There is a nice area up on the roof, we didn't use it but it's a place to relax and provides shade from the sun. There is a stunning small back garden but it isn't accessible to the public.
Lovely little hotel in a quieter part of Malaga. The Sea front is only a very short walk away. The staff are very attentive and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Perfect location, close to the beach and historic centre (20min walk). Nice and spotless clean rooms. Helpful personnel.

We just visited the lovely terrace which has an excellent view. The teas and cakes were also good, but the experience was somewhat spoiled by a member of staff serving who didn't seem to want us there. We felt it was our nationality that was unwelcome as she seemed fine with the locals. Hopefully our experience was a one off as everything else about it as worthy of 5 stars
Had lunch with friends in the 3rd floor restaurant. It’s good staple Andalucian food in a pleasant setting. Service could have been better but it was busy. Children’s menu was the best in Malaga - lots of options for starter and main courses.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant in Málaga! The view is simply stunning, and the wine selection was top-notch, making for a perfect evening. Charming, friendly hotel just about one kilometre from city centre. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the Gibralfaro castle and the city. Breakfast in the garden was very good. Although very near the centre and an easy walk down hill, the returning climb back is a stretch. You could take a taxi, or just take your time.

Stayed here last week. Booked a super double room. The bathroom was dirty. The decor is in need of a makeover. The hotel lacks the calibre of 4 star status. Overpriced & disappointed.
Excellent Hotel. Very good quality throughout, in particular liked the breakfast and views from balcony and 12th Floor roof. On one side views of Port, Cathedral and Alcazabra ( stunningly lit up at night ) and on the other right into the Bullring..very different !
Great hotel and very close to the beach ( 2 minutes). Staff is quite friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi and saunas on the last floor don't work due to pandemic measures.
Nice hotel with a good location. The breakfast is good and the star were extremely helpful. The minus points would be the gym which is very outdated and extremely warm
