Gran Hotel Miramar GL

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Gran Miramar for our wedding. and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel’s fantastic location, which allowed us to easily explore the surrounding area while providing a serene oasis to retreat to after a day of adventures.

The staff were nothing short of exceptional. A special shout-out to Maria, who was amazing throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful during the wedding planning process, always available to answer our questions and ensure that everything went smoothly. Her dedication made our wedding day not just stress-free, but truly magical.

The amenities at the hotel were top-notch. We loved lounging by the stunning pool, which offered a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The on-site restaurant provided an array of delicious dining options, and we especially enjoyed the rooftop. The views were breathtaking, and the ambiance was perfect for celebrating our special occasion.

Overall, our experience was unforgettable. With its perfect location, friendly and attentive staff, and wonderful amenities, we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway!

Beautiful hotel. Staff were very nice. Lots is amenities. We upgraded our room and it was very nice but the view was not as great as described in the description when we selected the room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique hotel. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it. Our room was fantastic and very spacey. Staff were all friendly and cheerful. Housekeeping including turn down service were extraordinary. Breakfast gets busy but is never crowded and there's enough staff around to serve. Restaurant experience was great and portions at lunch huge.
Location and building can't be beat! Atmosphere in the hotel and among the staff was superb. We'll be back.

We've just had a fabulous 5 day break. The hotel was wonderful - attentive and very friendly staff, breakfasts were amazing - so much choice, lovely pool and plenty of poolside loungers and perfect location as we could just walk across the road to the beach and into town in 10 mins.
Rooms were spacious and very clean with daily housekeeping and an evening turn down service with chocolates!
We've been to many hotels but this has to be in the top 5 for such a stunning reception and atrium areas - lovely architecture, Moorish tiles and so much light. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it already to friends. Worth every penny!

Excellent hotel. Outstanding staff. Everyone is super professional and friendly. Everyone does their job with a smile on their face. Special mention to the housekeeping staff. They come twice a day to clean the room and are super thorough.
We stayed on the fifth floor and had a minor issue with the shower. The ceiling in the shower stall seems to leak whenever the shower head is turned on. That with the shower doors not being properly sealed, leaves a bit of a puddle in the bathroom. This was the only complaint. However, because the housekeeping staff comes twice a day, it was never an issue.
Food at breakfast and pool bar were excellent as well.

The location is great. It’s near the old town and all historic places to visit. The service is superb and the staff are welcoming and polite. It’s a great place for vacationing, but I do hope that they could improve more on their bed and pillows. The pillows are too thick and the king bed mattress had a large groove in the middle since it was actually 2 single beds attached to each other. Plus the fact that they asked for a 50 Euro deposit for borrowing an adapter. For a luxury hotel, I would have not expected this. However, our overall stay was wonderful.

Wonderful hotel located at seaside. 3 minutes by walking to the beach. Excellent kitchen in the restaurant. Delicious! I love to sit on terrace, enjoying lunch and the view. Last Sunday I was again there: but terrace with wonderful view was closed. I could go inside or downstairs at the pool restaurant……please open terrace again, then I will give 5 stars!!

From the very first moment walking through the entrance, we were warmly welcomed, no waiting, drinks on hand and checked in straight away. Throughout our stay the staff were extremely polite and nothing was too small to sort. Hotel Miramar was very clean and an absolute showpiece of history and elegance. The food and wine served in each of their restaurants was of the highest quality and surprisingly not over priced, considering location (which is excellent, opposite the beach and 2mins walk into the city) and star rating.
Well done to the management and staff, in creating a truly wonderful experience for our time with you.
