Alcazaba Premium Hotel

Not worth neither the name nor the price! I got lured in by the nice pictures and the website and should have read the reviews on Google. We got a junior suite with Alcazaba view. You do have a view - but with it also a view on the main busy street that is coming from the tunnel. Good thing is that the windows are well isolated but that doesn’t help at night as the door is not well isolated! You can hear everything from the restaurant (music, people, noise) as there is an open area that goes through all the floors + everything from the corridor. On top of that, the room installations were either broken (see picture of bathroom) or dirty (see pics of walls), and most lights were cold light (which does not give a nice atmosphere). To make things worse, every stranger has basically access to the hotel because the bar and restaurant guest share the same elevator and staircase and there is no restricting access for them to the hotel rooms. We booked the room on a Christmas deal but even for that price, the whole thing is not worth it. You can get better hotel rooms with that money.

Bought a hotel room for my wife and the Lady at reception would not accept digital copy of passport and TIE. They would not give the room nor provide any exception. They would not refund, offer to change the booking date nor offer a credit voucher. Simply kept the euros paid.

PLEASE STAY AWAY: The hotel has BED BUGS and the staff seems ill equipped to deal with it.

After arguing with the receptionist so she could come and take a look and after dismissing the issue, upon insisting, they accepted to refund us.

They didn't even offer help to relocate us. The receptionist refused to escalate the issue and provided no help besides a refund.

This is not a serious establishment.

(The bathroom was also dirty and the rooms are very noisy but this is the least of your concerns if you bring bed bugs home).
