    The entertainment was really good. The 2 ladies who did the water aerobics and pool side entertainment were so lovely and always stopped to chat!! Made me and my friend feel very welcome. A lot of the staff spoke very little English but never made you feel unwelcome they were always very happy to help and so lovely and friendly. We would definitely stay again it was a perfect stay for us.

    Liked · We stayed at Hotel Roquetas El Palmeral and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, newly refurbished, and had a lovely balcony with sea glimpses. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and has plenty of parking.

    Disliked · Downsides: the air conditioning wasn’t very effective, and the pool closes in October which in our opinion was very early.

    The room was comfortable and clean. We had a room overlooking the pool, which was lovely, but the downside to this was that we could hear the entertainment. However this did not spoil our stay as you need to expect these things when staying in a hotel. There are no English tv channels. We didn't have meals in the hotel so cannot comment on this, but we did buy a couple of drinks from the bar and I feel that the staff could do with some training on customer service. They treat you as though you are an inconvenience. One girl had just started scrolling through her phone when I appeared at the bar. She put her phone down clearly annoyed that I had interrupted her and didn't speak to me throughout the whole transaction, which made me feel very uncomfortable. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming though. Overall, our stay was very relaxing as the hotel was almost empty so we had the pool area to ourselves. Lots of places to eat and drink and the beach was a five minute walk away. The pool was closed the day after we arrived but we were only there for four nights so it didn't bother us.

    Overall considering what we paid it was good if I had paid more I would have been disappointed. We were half board meals were repetitive and not alot of choice and cold.The staff did what they could not enough 2 in restaurant not asked for drinks the hotel wasnt busy so in peak times I dread to think.Animation staff kept people occupied round the pool would I stay here again no.

    The interior of the hotel and room is great, fresh and clean. Room was comfortable and peaceful. The pool area is always very busy and difficult to get a lounger,has quite a lot going on too so if you want peace and quiet is best to head out. The restaurant was okay had a different selection each day (though not loads to choose from). I would return to this hotel but I would probably not book dining as there are plenty of places to go out and eat/have a drink. Great location close by to shops, restaurants, beach and bus stop.

    This hotel is very good for three stars.Only back from a week in Roquetas De Mar. The best thing about this hotel is the staff,so friendly and full of fun.Hotel is very clean,In my view this hotel is catered for the local people from Spain,which some were a bit rude but that's ok.Food is very Spanish,alot of fish and much the same food every day.We were half board but we eat outside the hotel alot.Would i book here again?Probably not. But thanks, Regards Seamus.

    Only stayed one night in March. Good points: The room size was good and the beds huge and comfortable. Location and parking also good (though not sure what the parking would be like in summer).
    Bad points: The hot water was way too hot and because the shower taps are set too high it’s easy to hit the control, and knock it to the hot position and get hit with a blast of scalding water. Temp controlled shower taps are not expensive and can be easily installed.
    The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work.
    They want you to pay €4 a day for the safe which in most hotels is free. It’s not a lot of money but it’s Penny pinching which leaves a bad impression (the safe in our room was sitting loose above the mini bar-which didn’t even have a small bottle of water in it-again, Penny pinching)
    The bedside reading lamps are not moveable. They’re set too close to the beds and if you’re not careful, when you get out of the bed you’ll hit your head on them. That’s why they’re hanging loose/broken.
