The hotel is luxuriously decorated, the environment is comfortable, the front desk service is enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is large and easy to use, and the hotel breakfast is great, rich in content and tastes good

Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough and chewy, chips nothing outstanding, my advice would be to eat out at the many excellent restaurants in the adjoining street

High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient

Lovely clean hotel with big rooms and fantastic bathrooms. Very close to the beach and local amenities. Did not use the restaurant as there is plenty of bars and restaurants nearby offering local food and pinchos

Dinner was also served at the hotel, a three-course French meal that tasted excellent. There are white-lined parking spaces on the roadside at the door, which are free and safe. The peninsula beach is beautiful

It is just a 1 minute walk to the beach/sea front and there are lots of restaurants & bars very close by. The walk from the bay to the city centre is amazing along the beautifully clean and scenic promenade

Great rooms overlooking the ferry port. Excellent reception staff. Dining experience not great.

Yeah just go for this. Actually felt like a hotel in a great location. Avoid the hills

Very comfortable hotel situated right at the front of the promenade with a great view over the sea, as long as the mist is not there! The hotel staff were all very helpful, l only wish my Spanish was as good as their English

The room was very spacious, although the extra bed for children was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good, as was the staff's attention. The location was great.

All areas of the hotel were very clean and the rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was good it was buffet style with a good selection to please most tastes

A super hotel in every respect. Large comfortable room with a view of the city. Good breakfast, very convenient for the city centre and the ferry port

Free use of swimming pool next door. Beach and supermarkets nearby. Very easy to get into Santander on numerous buses. Paseo al Cabo Mayor affords lovely views of the Sardinero beach

The menu del dia in the Neptune restaurant is very good. My room was very book with a balcony. The only problem, that the swimming pool isnt in the building

This property is at the edge of town, but if you have a car and want less hassle with parking and crowds, stay here. The staff is very nice, and they have a popular bar and cafeteria, even at the edge of town

Good hotel with friendly staff. Big rooms wirh a day room. Bathroom with a descent size wal-in shower. Close to restaurants and shops. Included complimentary gym membership next door, so 5 starts for that reason!

The person at the front desk assisted me to obtaine medication I left at my previous hotel stay. She coordinated the delivery to me of the medication. Well beyond her responsibilities.

Friendly Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good location. It would be nice if they provide kettle for tea and coffee. All the other stuff made it good value for money. Will recommend it to anyone.

Service in the bar/cafe area downstairs was very slow because there was only one member of staff at front of house and she had to act as bar person, waitress, table clearer and general dogsbody! We gave up waiting to be served on a couple of occasions and went elsewhere, I felt quite sorry for her

This hotel ticks all the boxes, plus more than expected. We received an upgrade to a deluxe room with spectacular panoramic sea views

Hotel has a fantastic location on the front and there was an amazing sea view from our room. However, on returning to the room on the 2nd day we had no cups or satchets of coffee/milk for the morning

We parked our rental car right in front for free. Few KM's away from the center. Best part is the towels and the water pressure ( 😆)

Lovely hotel, located right across the street from the beach. Many restaurants close by. Great walkway for miles along the ocean. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Parking is hard though.

30-10 am after an overnight flight. Staff (Gina & the other girl) was so accommodating and found us a room for us to check in earlier. The location is amazing with the beach and water views

The check-in was friendly and the staff were always happy to see us. The room was comfortable. We liked the stylish and artful decor in the corridors. We didn't have any problems.

We had a double room with an exterior view. It was very cozy, with modern decor and located just two blocks from the center. It's an uphill climb, but there are escalators that take you down to the hotel

A lovely hotel in Santander, we enjoyed our stay. It is not far from the center, but the area of the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It has to be noted that the area around the hotel is quite hilly

Excellent stay at Art Hotel. We had a perfect stay at this hotel. Quirky design, underground parking, large room, excellent location and perfect staff.

Top hotel we had a suite which was unbelievable also had a street view heard no noise and had a 2 night break would come again never sleep so long had to rush so we didn't miss breakfast which was lovely plenty to choose from

The breakfast buffet is delicious, fresh and ample with something to suit all tastes and the evening meals are very varied with excellent service, although we only chose to eat here once due to the many other options to try in Santander/Sardinero! This is our second stay at this hotel and I’ve no doubt it won’t be our last!

I love their service from front desk to housekeeping. Also, i love the interior of my room. It’s very close to the beach as well. If ever I’ll come back to Santander, i’ll book again to this hotel

The front desk service is good and can communicate in English. There is a parking garage (extra charge, about 20 euros a day), close to the Magdalena Palace and can be reached on foot

The room was very clean and extremely comfortable with great views of the sea and the housekeeping service was second to none

This hotel is wonderful and is conveniently situated a short walk from the beautiful Sardinero beaches, restaurants and bars

We loved the comfortable king bed with loads of pillows, and nightly chocolate on the bed, tea/coffee facility, enomorous bathroom with fluffy towels and bath robes

As I wrote on another website: We had a wonderful check-in with the young female on reception particularly when she found out that we had just completed the Portuguese Camino, we were talking to a fellow pilgrim, and whenever she saw in the hotel

Positives: Own air-conditioning unit, spacious room, friendly staff. Negatives: No decent lighting over the bathroom vanity mirror and only espresso cups for coffee, no cups for tea drinkers (supplied when requested)

What a delightful surprise I got when we entered our spacious and elegant corner room on the second floor with an enclosed balcony and plenty of fresh air and natural light

The view wasn't toward the harbor as shown in the photos, but rather toward the residential area on the other side, which was actually better in terms of noise. The breakfast could be more varied for a 4-star hotel

It was a full hotel (we were told), due to the Triathlon taking place on the Sunday morning. Breakfast was absolutely fine. A pretty generic continental standard breakfast with some hot items (sausages, chorizo and eggs)

I audibly squealed when I got to my room! This hotel will make you ooh and ahh on it's own, but the views it offers, too, just wow!! The service was fantastic, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the terrace has a cafe that serves small meals if you don't want a full dinner

The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel, but if you're not up for the hill, they have a gorgeous room for sitting and enjoying the moment! Prices are excellent!! Highly recommend!

A large hotel on outskirts of town with lovely views over Santander beach. Menu a little restrictive but staff and receptionist very friendly. We had a large bedroom with en suite

Elevator - a single elevator for a 5-story building with 120+ rooms? Really? Room - OLD, with furniture from 70s or 80s. Bathroom - neither functional nor ergonomic, with lots of marble. Towels and bathrobes - terrible
