High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient. No problem recommending this hotel. The outside look of the hotel is not particularly attractive but inside it is what one would expect from a 4 star hotel.

We enjoyed a pleasant overnight stay in this large hotel overlooking the beach. The room was of good size and well maintained. Free on-street parking was found behind the hotel. Local wine bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

This is a fantastic hotel in which to relax and enjoy what is a very cosmopolitan town. The view from our room was spectacular and it offered a good level of comfort. The staff are hardworking and helpful and you have a choice of places to eat. The surrounding area offers excellent restaurants and bars if you want a walk.

Considering what we paid to stay at this hotel, I would expect breakfast to be included and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Love this place. We got here around 9.30-10 am after an overnight flight. Super tired with no sleep. Check-in time is 3pm. Great hotel right in the centre of Santander , beautiful building with very friendly staff. The room was on the forth floor which was small but spotlessly clean with a nice bathroom, each room has a kettle and nespresso coffee maker , also water left in the room every day. I stayed in Hotel Palacio del Mar for a couple of nights on a work trip to Santander. Over the service was good, the rooms were huge for what we paid and the location near the beach and the university was convenient. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The rooms did feel a bit dilapidated and one of my sheets was not very clean, so some renovations and improved cleaning would be welcome...

Overall, I was satisfied. The view wasn't toward the harbor as shown in the photos, but rather toward the residential area on the other side, which was actually better in terms of noise. The breakfast could be more varied for a 4-star hotel. It's also a shame that they only offer Nespresso capsule machines for coffee.

Peaceful and relax hotel. They accept pets. Nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately the restaurant ws closed on Sunday but they recommendend an excellent restaurant in a 10 minutes walking distance or 2 min by car.

This is a wonderful gem along the coast. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and with a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean. There are restaurants within 10 min of driving. You can hike to the beaches or walk a section of the El Camino. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Great site very well located. You can walk to Langre beach and very close by car to Loredo and Santander. The very cool house, with many activities and good breakfast. Very friendly staff always. Too bad they no longer have the horses, but all good.

The stay we have had with all my crew has been spectacular, the fantastic environment you can choose to go to the beach or walk along the cliffs. The house is very well equipped, the rooms and common areas are great and the attention of Juana, its owner, is phenomenal. We will come back for sure!!

A 10, because to begin with, Juan and his mother's treatment of their guests alone deserves it, everything impeccable, from the room with a rural atmosphere, to the views from its terrace... Check-in - long line with one (excellent, hard-working) staffer trying to address many people. Elevator - a single elevator for a 5-story building with 120+ rooms? Really? Room - OLD, with furniture from 70s or 80s. Bathroom - neither functional nor ergonomic, with lots of marble. Towels...

This Hotel is much more.. it's an experience. . The views are spectacular, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and spacious, the terrace is chilled and just the most beautiful space to eat,drink and relax... overall the decor is beautifully elegant. This is long overdue. We stayed here for three nights last summer and enjoyed every minute of it. The setting let alone remodeled historic structure are enough to draw us back to this wonderful hotel. We had dinner every night and the food was some of the best we had in all of our two weeks of travel across Spain. We stayed for two very enjoyable nights. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful very calm & relaxing. The rooms are a tranquil oasis.
