Santander, Joaquín costa, 28 🧭 Map
High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient. No problem recommending this hotel. The outside look of the hotel is not particularly attractive but inside it is what one would expect from a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the peninsula beach and within walking distance. The hotel is luxuriously decorated, the environment is comfortable, the front desk service is enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is large and easy to use, and the hotel breakfast is great, rich in content and tastes good. Dinner was also served at the hotel, a three-course French meal...
Historical building but renovated. The address is close to the beach but a bit far from the city center. There are restaurants near the hotel
Excellent “four star” hotel, Reception Staff helpful, professional and friendly, accommodation excellent. I do feel to pay an additional car parking charge of 15 euros in their underground garage area is frankly an unnecessary extra for hotel guests… parking in the surrounding streets is difficult. Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough...
Stayed at this hotel again, as always clean, attentive service, very good! Highly recommended.
A fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. The foyer to the hotel is large and inviting, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is just a 1 minute walk to the beach/sea front and there are lots of restaurants & bars very close by. The walk from the bay to the city centre is amazing along the beautifully clean and scenic promenade. All...

Yeah just go for this. Actually felt like a hotel in a great location. Avoid the hills
The room was very spacious, although the extra bed for children was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good, as was the staff's attention. The location was great.
Excellent location, large and comfortable room.
Very satisfied, but the facilities still need to be updated in time.
Although it is a four-star hotel, it is really simple and cannot be compared with domestic four-star hotels. The scenery is great, the breakfast is too ordinary, the decoration in the room is very ordinary, and there is no kettle as usual
A great hotel in a good location, breakfast was very good. Nice room and bathroom.

Espectacular hotel!.. Great service especially the Bar!!
The hotel where the royal family used to vacation with friends may be a great choice if you are looking for a royal feeling.
I audibly squealed when I got to my room! This hotel will make you ooh and ahh on it's own, but the views it offers, too, just wow!! The service was fantastic, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the terrace has a cafe that serves small meals if you don't want a full dinner. Breakfast is on floor -1 with a beautiful set up and outdoor seating. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel...
I do not want to repeat what others wrote before me, but this hotel certainly did not feel like a 5-star property.
Check-in - long line with one (excellent, hard-working) staffer trying to address many people.
Elevator - a single elevator for a 5-story building with 120+ rooms? Really?
Room - OLD, with furniture from 70s or 80s.
Bathroom - neither functional nor ergonomic, with lots of marble. Towels...
This Hotel is much more.. it's an experience. . The views are spectacular, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and spacious, the terrace is chilled and just the most beautiful space to eat, drink and relax... overall the decor is beautifully elegant. However, above all the staff are fantastic. a must visit, we have always throughly enjoyed our visits here...highly recommend
Gorgeous hotel, with character and history. Lovely relaxed stay. Beautiful spacious room. opening out onto a nice terrace. Excellent breakfast with a huge selection. Staff are top notch.

Santander, Avda. Manuel García Lago 9 🧭 Map
Nice location for the beach but a long walk from centre. Up side is that it's quieter than staying more central, down side it's a 20min walk to most places.
Pool nice but you have to book slots to spend time there which can be a pain.
A very good 3 star hotel, nicely situated by the beach and a nice promenade. Good restaurant and friendly staff. Nice views.
Best view of the beach, friendly staff, close to restaurants and cafes. Outstanding breakfast buffet. 5 Starts!
Attractive hotel in a great location, but genuinely the worst shower I have seen in years. A dribble of tepid water with everything at maximum, and still it can't drain fast enough.
Fantastic views from the rooms with balcony. The rooms are minimalistic but modern and clean. The only downside would be the beds which moved very easily. The entrance, foyer and restaurant/bar are lovely and feel much more than a 3* hotel. The staff are also friendly and helpful - they even have a button to make a taxi appear almost instantly!
We stayed here for only one night in January 2024. Everything was great including our room 220. Staff friendly and helpful, we could check in early and parking 🅿️ was free. But the best thing was the BREAKFAST 🥞, simply lovely. Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean and spacious, cafe was nice
This property is at the edge of town, but if you have a car and want less hassle with parking and crowds, stay here. The staff is very nice, and they have a popular bar and cafeteria, even at the edge of town
Comfortable big room, quiet and helpful staff.
Like the large rooms. Very good breakfasts. Free use of swimming pool next door. Beach and supermarkets nearby. Very easy to get into Santander on numerous buses. Paseo al Cabo Mayor affords lovely views of the Sardinero beach.
The person at the front desk assisted me to obtaine medication I left at my previous hotel stay. She coordinated the delivery to me of the medication. Well beyond her responsibilities.
Stayed here for one night prior to getting the ferry back to the UK.
From the outside the hotel looks like a concrete monstrosity built in the 1960's or 1970's. However, it is totally different on the inside, being very spacious and modern, especially the rooms.
Reasonably quick and friendly check in. Large and secure underground parking is available for €15 a night, however I was advised by a local...

Absolutely fabulous, a modern hotel with a beautiful exterior, superb car parking, rooms are big and beds very comfortable, enourmous showers
We enjoyed a pleasant overnight stay in this large hotel overlooking the beach.
The room was of good size and well maintained.
Free on-street parking was found behind the hotel.
Local wine bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
Excellent location overlooking a nice beach. Clean and modern on the inside, with a retro facade that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding 19th century hotels around it. Reasonably priced in the winter, although I’m told summer prices can be eye watering. Overall highly recommended.
The location of the hotel is idyllic. It is facing the beach and water. The hotel has pleasing outside aesthetics, it seems to glow particularly in the night. The service received was okay. However, Eva from the reception was excellent and stood out. She made me feel welcome and was always smiling and helpful. The amenities work, even the air-conditioning. The rooms are fairly spacious and quiet which...
This is a fantastic hotel in which to relax and enjoy what is a very cosmopolitan town. The view from our room was spectacular and it offered a good level of comfort. The staff are hardworking and helpful and you have a choice of places to eat. The surrounding area offers excellent restaurants and bars if you want a walk.
Considering what we paid to stay at this hotel, I would expect breakfast to be included and tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
Restaurant didn’t open until 8.30pm which is too late for children to eat. After some searching we found a lovely little restaurant around the corner from the hotel.
Balcony overlooking the beach was the best part of the room.
Reception staff were polite and friendly...

Room is good, spacious, clean, but no view which is always disappointing but not a deal breaker!
Service was fine at check in, although I had done the online check in, I'm not sure what the point was, felt like we were an inconvenience to the receptionist, great location, gym is small, didn't try the cafe
Great central location, near shops and the market and public transport. Room had everything you needed. Front desk staff helpful. Quiet rooms, hard bouncy beds though.
This is the second time we stay in this hotel and our expectations were met. We like the service in general and the location is perfect to know the city.
Great place to stay. Clean and friendly, good heart people!
Great hotel we'll located. Good bar, large rooms and spotlessly clean, the additionof a nespressocofffe machineis a welcome touch. I'd say the breakfast is a little too expensive so go next door to the Cafe botanico..... good coffee and sensible prices.
Very nice reception staff, very helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Great location in the the centre of town.

Stunning hotel ..staying here 2 days .. hopeless breakfast.. yeah we're English. But the bacon . Scrambled eggs and fried eggs we're cold .. . Not worth anywhere near 18 euros . Breakfast is probably worth half that . And breakfast area not very welcoming.. definitely eating out for breakfast tomorrow
Very helpful front desk staff, we got an upgrade to ocean view room which was much appreciated. Just over the road from the beautiful beach. Clean and spacious room , comfortable bed. Breakfast ok but nothing special.
Great location right on the seafront. Staff were great. Breakfast was good. The bathrooms probably could do with a little more attention with cleaning and FYI, a standard double room is quite small with a small double bed.
My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel. Literally across from the beach with breathtaking views. The staff is so kind, helpful and delightful. All where very attentive and we so appreciated the wonderful customer service, cleanliness of hotel, prompt room service.

Stayed here in July. Hotel has a fantastic location on the front and there was an amazing sea view from our room. However, on returning to the room on the 2nd day we had no cups or satchets of coffee/milk for the morning. Lovely hotel in Sandinero. All staff were very friendly, particularly the receptionist we met. Good English spoken which is always appreciated. The room we had was very large with sea views. There is underground parking but also free stree parking opposite, if you can get a place...
Lovely hotel and very well located. Easy parking which is underground and secure.
Only quibble is the shower needs a hand rail, to hold onto if you're a little wobbly on your feet, and rooms need power points next to bed. Very clean hotel and very welcoming staff
JvanJo is an excellent staff in this hotel, he is very kind and helpful, when I got sick on May.20 almost midnight, he did his best helping me to call a emergency medical doctor and called a taxi took me to a pharmacist , and explained to taxi driver what we needed and where to go. Excellent location and conditions for a 3 nights city break
Great location in El Sardinero. An easy drive to the ferry the next day which is what we were wanting from this stay
Excellent location, clean rooms, nice staff. It has a very retro flair, whick makes it kindof fun. The breakfast was below my expectations. Mostly plastic-wrapped pastry. Plastic-wrapped everything! Fruit was OK.
Nice hotel rooms are very good, was quite disappointed with restaurant when we stayed, only menu del dia, which was starter main and dessert, wasn't impressed with the choice, breakfast just had drink and pastrie,we had, location is nice but not to many restaurants around, when we did find one it didn't open till 20.30 or 21.00,
A great location at El Sardinero area and beach, the hotel is well equiped and furbished. Rooms are comfortable although not very spacious. Their restaurant is worth a try, we had an excellent menu including fresh fish. The staff very professional. The surroundinds of the hotel are great for walks, as the neiborhood is full or parks.

Great location with view of the water; friendly staff at reception; comfortable and quiet room.

We really liked our experience at the Vinci Puerto chico. The location is excellent. The room was a little small but cozy, and the bathroom was quite big. The public parking right outside is a plus. The staff was nice and there were some nice touches. We did not take the breakfast. I would stay here again and highly recommend thanks to the awesome location.
Very nice place to stay on the waterfront and near Casa Lita. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our A/C worked like a charm and the breakfast buffet was very good. Good Wifi, as well.
Wonderful stay , great welcome and touristical help from Alvaro, the front desk manager , perfect location with a wonderful view of the pretty bay and marina, very close to historical downtown and beaches.
Stayed in this hotel for 7 days and enjoyed every minute of it we upgraded to the front rooms with a fabulous view. The cleanliness was very impressive. Slightly disappointing compared with previous NH hotels, room rather small and overall felt tired. Outdoor car park as in a city centre but could do with a bit of a tidy up. Very good location for walking to city centre, sea front and many restaurants opening after 8.00pm. During the day they are all shut up so looks a little run down.
The Hotel is quite nice and the service helps you whenever you need, It is cllse to beach and you can walk by as you are in the citi center cloese to the hotel are plenty of nice restaurants.
Quite old and expensive but close to restaurants and sites.
A 15 minute walk away from the centre. Some of which is uphill. But in a quiet area. Lots of restaurants nearby. When I booked, I asked for a room at the back and away from the lifts. That is exactly what I got. Not every hotel cares enough to meet customers' requests. Check in was smooth. Receptionists are friendly. Carla indulged my Spanish. The room, 318, is a decent size and was spotlessly clean...

We had a perfect stay at this hotel.
Quirky design, underground parking, large room, excellent location and perfect staff.
Just an overnight after our weekend in San Sebastián. Hotel was fine and lovely staff. Massive room
Friendly staff, very spacious room, comfortable bed, good shower room. A few ‘teething troubles’ - one of the sockets providing power to the coffee pod machine not fixed to the wall, toilet roll had been wet and left to dry out - not acceptable. Coffee pod machine is a waste of time!
Parking right outside door of hotel was great, easy downhill walk through little streets to main area.
