Great central location, near shops and the market and public transport. Room had everything you needed. Front desk staff helpful. Quiet rooms, hard bouncy beds though.

This is the second time we stay in this hotel and our expectations were met. We like the service in general and the location is perfect to know the city.

Great hotel we'll located. Good bar, large rooms and spotlessly clean, the additionof a nespressocofffe machineis a welcome touch. I'd say the breakfast is a little too expensive so go next door to the Cafe botanico..... good coffee and sensible prices.

Location was excellent. Breakfast really good. Room lovely and dark. Most staff were super friendly and helpful. They offered to allow us to check in at 12.30pm as our room was ready. Lady at reception lent us an umbrella to dodge the rain. They looked after bags for us and called a taxi,

Really nice hotel in a great location. Only negative is the bad WiFi. Connection is bad and so is the speed.

Excellent location, clean rooms, nice staff. It has a very retro flair, whick makes it kindof fun. The breakfast was below my expectations. Mostly plastic-wrapped pastry. Plastic-wrapped everything! Fruit was OK.

Nice hotel rooms are very good,was quite disappointed with restaurant when we stayed,only menu del dia,which was starter main and dessert,wasn't impressed with the choice,breakfast just had drink and pastrie,we had,location is nice but not to many restaurants around,when we did find one it didn't open till 20.30 or 21.00,

A great location at El Sardinero area and beach, the hotel is well equiped and furbished. Rooms are comfortable although not very spacious. Their restaurant is worth a try, we had an excellent menu including fresh fish. The staff very professional. The surroundinds of the hotel are great for walks, as the neiborhood is full or parks.

Beautiful views overlooking the bay and marina. Though it was on main road, the room was quiet and we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Well located for an easy walk to local bars, restaurants, etc. Very good value hotel given its location.

Had a very short stay trying to get some sleep after some disrupted travel, but can say room was spotless, nicely decorated and with a very comfy bed. Probably the rooms facing Puertochico have a lovely view, but booking the cheaper ones gets you an internal window. Staff were friendly and helpful despite checking in the early hours.

Comfort would of like a room with a veiw but it was £50 more a night a little over priced

Receptionist was outstanding in helping us. We were delayed overnight due to poor weather and a ferry delay. Receptionist made our stay as pleasant as possible

I stayed here for two nights. The staff were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well-located (close to the beach, the train and bus station and to the city center). I could sometimes hear the neighbors, but it did not annoy me at all. There was also a small bar beside the hotel and the food was really good. I recommend this place

Lovely little hotel. A little out dated but extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean!!! The room was dark as the shutter seemed down but the view wasn't anything special!!! The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and nice towels and hot powerful show. Glorio is in great location and extremely good value for money. Ps the staff were so so so helpful See you again

Not posh But really clean and hard working staff. Has its own cafe where you can buy breakfast etc the reception desk will help with anything you need to know... If you can't speak Spanish get the App on your phone that translates English into Spanish and vice versa.

Breakfast is nice but very small. Rooms are quiet and clean. Hot water took a long time probably because my room was at the end of the hall.

Simple unassuming hotel, very central, 3 mins walk from railway station. lovely welcoming staff. Cafe open serves cheap Spanish breakfast, nice coffee. Stayed 4 nights in September now our go hotel in Santander.

Lovely clean hotel with big rooms and fantastic bathrooms. Very close to the beach and local amenities. Did not use the restaurant as there is plenty of bars and restaurants nearby offering local food and pinchos. The clincher was the secure underground car park for a very small fee. We surely will use this hotel again if we return to Santander.

The hotel has some 90's vibes from the outside but very modern and clean in this inside. Rooms were clean and well equipped Breakfast was great ! But what I enjoyed the most was the kindness of every person working in that hotel! Some of the nicest people I ever met!!! Thank you!

We stayed for 2 nights while waiting for the ferry back to UK. The room was excellent. The deal including parking and breakfast was very good. The hot items on the breakfast buffet were cold even when fresh from the kitchen. We will stay with you again Thank you very much.

Great location close to El Sardinero Beach. A short (cheap) bus ride/ 25 minute walk from the town centre in a lovely neighbourhood. The Hotel was very clean and exuded a certain type of "elegance" You could say it was 4* by name and 4* by nature The bedroom was very nicely decorated with a large comfy bed. A complimentary bottle of water in the fridge would have been preferable to the (unpriced) mini...

They mixed up our reservation and had us having a sea-view with 2 single beds. They didn't fix it the first night but told us come down in the morning. I did at 630 but they said come back at 930. So j did and then they got us a new room. Other than that the stag was nice, the area is great, and the beach is a simple 100 yards walk away.

Good location for the ferry. Underground parking very secure. Breakfast a bit pricey but eat as much as you want.

Very comfortable hotel situated right at the front of the promenade with a great view over the sea, as long as the mist is not there! The hotel staff were all very helpful, l only wish my Spanish was as good as their English. All areas of the hotel were very clean and the rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was good it was buffet style with a good selection to please most tastes.

A super hotel in every respect. Large comfortable room with a view of the city. Good breakfast, very convenient for the city centre and the ferry port. Helpful staff and easy parking via a car lift to the level assigned on arrival. Excellent restaurant if you want a meal and a cafeteria for out of hours snacks and drinks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel or to revisit in the future.

Good service and location in Santander. Very convenient for the ferry (Brittany ferry). Staff spoke good English. Very clean. Large bathrooms. One of our rooms had a bath others a double shower.

I audibly squealed when I got to my room! This hotel will make you ooh and ahh on it's own, but the views it offers, too, just wow!! The service was fantastic, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the terrace has a cafe that serves small meals if you don't want a full dinner. Breakfast is on floor -1 with a beautiful set up and outdoor seating. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel...

I do not want to repeat what others wrote before me, but this hotel certainly did not feel like a 5-star property. Check-in - long line with one (excellent, hard-working) staffer trying to address many people. Elevator - a single elevator for a 5-story building with 120+ rooms? Really? Room - OLD, with furniture from 70s or 80s. Bathroom - neither functional nor ergonomic, with lots of marble. Towels...

This Hotel is much more.. it's an experience. . The views are spectacular, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and spacious, the terrace is chilled and just the most beautiful space to eat,drink and relax... overall the decor is beautifully elegant. However, above all the staff are fantastic. a must visit, we have always throughly enjoyed our visits here...highly recommend

Considering what we paid to stay at this hotel, I would expect breakfast to be included and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Restaurant didn’t open until 8.30pm which is too late for children to eat. After some searching we found a lovely little restaurant around the corner from the hotel. Balcony overlooking the beach was the best part of the room. Reception staff were polite and friendly...

Pour value for the money 280€ a night The location is great the architecture impressive but inside it is cold and impersonal you are in Spain in Cantabria but you could be in Australia or in Texas as well. The welcome is cold and they only provide the strict minimum. Not even a bottle of water in the room. You feel the greediness of the owners.

What a beautiful hotel with great service. I do recommend this hotel if you visit Santander. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Beautiful comfortable accommodation. The Menu del Día was terrific value & quality. Next morning prebooked breakfast €26/2 was pointless, it was a struggle to get service, cafe 2 x toast & a tiny sandwich, asked for zumo, none came. It was appalling value served by someone who seemed to bieve customers were in the way

Amazing hotel!!! Staff are really helpful, friendly, and polite. Location is spot on. Just a stone's throw from a beautiful beach, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Regular buses run from just outside the hotel to Santander itself. Just 5 minutes drive from the ferry port

Stayed here in July. Hotel has a fantastic location on the front and there was an amazing sea view from our room. However, on returning to the room on the 2nd day we had no cups or satchets of coffee/milk for the morning. When I went to reception to get some I was told that coffee etc was only complimentary on the first night - surely even 2 star hotels supply free satchets of coffee/tea etc! In the...

Love this place. We got here around 9.30-10 am after an overnight flight. Super tired with no sleep. Check-in time is 3pm. Staff (Gina & the other girl) was so accommodating and found us a room for us to check in earlier. The location is amazing with the beach and water views. We parked our rental car right in front for free. There's a casino next door. Great breakfast. Few KM's away from the center...

Lovely hotel, located right across the street from the beach. Many restaurants close by. Great walkway for miles along the ocean. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Parking is hard though.

Very nice room with sea view. Location is very good, beach and lots of restaurants at walking distance. The room was big and the bathroom and the towels were great. When you are in a long vacation going from hotel to hotel you valued small things like big new towels. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was also ok.

Like the large rooms. Very good breakfasts. Free use of swimming pool next door. Beach and supermarkets nearby. Very easy to get into Santander on numerous buses. Paseo al Cabo Mayor affords lovely views of the Sardinero beach.

Stayed here for one night prior to getting the ferry back to the UK. From the outside the hotel looks like a concrete monstrosity built in the 1960's or 1970's. However, it is totally different on the inside, being very spacious and modern, especially the rooms. Reasonably quick and friendly check in. This is a stunning Hotel and the team were amazing. Rooms was enormous and very well appointed and the receptionist Sophia was very welcoming will definitely stay again when in the area.

Senior suite was wonderful with a huge jacuzzi tub and plenty of room. Balcony with a view and a large comfortable bed. All amenities were very nice and in good order. Very pleasant visit! Spacious and we'll appointed.

Nice location for the beach but a long walk from centre. Up side is that it's quieter than staying more central, down side it's a 20min walk to most places. Pool nice but you have to book slots to spend time there which can be a pain.

Attractive hotel in a great location, but genuinely the worst shower I have seen in years. A dribble of tepid water with everything at maximum, and still it can't drain fast enough.

Fantastic views from the rooms with balcony. The rooms are minimalistic but modern and clean. The only downside would be the beds which moved very easily. The entrance, foyer and restaurant/bar are lovely and feel much more than a 3* hotel. The staff are also friendly and helpful - they even have a button to make a taxi appear almost instantly!

We stayed here for only one night in January 2024. Everything was great including our room 220. Staff friendly and helpful, we could check in early and parking 🅿️ was free. But the best thing was the BREAKFAST 🥞, simply lovely. Thank you.

This was a nicer hotel than some of the 4 Stars I have stayed in Spain. Breakfast is always great at NH hotels with eggs made to order and a large selection at the buffet. Best of all, they stored our bicycles inside for the night as we are cycle tourers. Thanks NH for a restful and nice stay.

A lovely hotel in Santander, we enjoyed our stay. It is not far from the center, but the area of the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It has to be noted that the area around the hotel is quite hilly. The breakfast provided was excellent, a variety of options to pick from. Lovely and helpful staff.

A well run hotel with friendly and professional staff. However do not choose a room on the first floor. The rooms are very dark and have views of a wall. The rooms also smelled damp.

We stayed here for a week during our honeymoon. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of options. The room was very spacious and we had a bay view which was lovely to wake up to. The room itself doesn't get very cool so we were a bit warm sometimes and the wifi was spotty. Hotel is in a residential area so be prepared to walk or drive to the beach/center areas.

Just a short stay but it was good. Stylish decor and super comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Slightly odd residential area setting but close to good bars and places to eat. Friendly, helpful staff

Located 2 minutes walk from the beach and a 35 minute walk to the center of Santander. The room/apartment that I stayed in had a good sized family lounge, kitchen with hotplates, fridge and microwave. I found the bed to be very comfortable. A decent continental breakfast buffet is available. I think these apartments would be good for a family.

Tucked away in a little alley, this lovely hotel was a revelation. Perfectly located near cafes bars and the main shopping areas. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in 4 hours early. Room was clean and spacious. Will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely perfect. Exceptionally clean. Great value. Terrific restaurant just round the corner. The staff I encountered were formal, polite and helpful. Santander is a very expansive and hilly town, so the location is as good as anywhere here.
