Hotel «Cándido», Segovia1 / 29
Segovia, Avenida Gerardo Diego, S/N 🧭 Map
I have been visiting this hotel numerous times since its opening back in 2006, and it has never disappointed. Rooms are large and luxurious. The shower is huge. Very good breakfast and when you find the time, there’s a large outdoor swimming pool as well as an indoor one + wellness. Restaurant requires reservation. Bar is not open till very late.
Lovely hotel with nice communal areas. Good rooms with very nice shower. A pity the outdoor pool was closed. Good walk to the aquaduct.
On the plus side, the hotel has easy external parking on the edge of town; a nice swimming pool; and comfortable lobby and room furniture. On the downside, it is slightly old fashioned and misses small extras that many Spanish hotels now provide like complimentary water in the room, a kettle/coffee making facilities and a packet or box of tissues. It adds to the impression that the hotel just wants...
This is my favorite hotel now. I've stayed at a few over the years, and this one has stood out the most to me. From driving onto the property to walking into the lobby, it felt very charming and inviting. The decor compliments the design. There was an opulent feeling staying here.
Great hotel for visiting Segovia, just on the outskirts of town about a 20 min walk into town. The Roman Aqueduct and the castle on the other side of town are must sees. The town itself is a beautiful place to visit. We knew nothing about Segovia and only stopped here by chance as a place to send a few days in a hotel whilst touring in our Campervan through Spain. Well worth the visit.
We loved this hotel. From the moment you walk in to the beautiful lobby, you feel like you're in a friendly, homely, comfortable, spacious place without any false grandeur or promise. Super friendly staff, lovely big spacious bedrooms, excellent food, it all made for a really good place to stay to see the wonderful Segovia. Minor downsides. No tea making facilities in the bedroom. And the hotel is...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was super kind and supportive. Location is really good and allows you to start the visit to Segovia with an amazing view of the Acueducto.
Clean and nice rooms in a hotel located just outside the aqueduct (100m). The hotel also has a parking that is significantly cheaper than the underground parking facing it. Rooms are functional and clean with views on the aqueduct
Amazing service and perfect location! The Eurostars Plaza Acueducto is in the best possible location, right next to the Aqueduct. The service at the front desk was very friendly, especially the blondish lady who was at the desk when we arrived. The breakfast was small, but it had the basic foods and some gluten-free things. The room was okay, there was some black stuff on the ceiling and the soap holders...
Good location. Excellent. Has parking that Its a big plus here. Food is very good. Breakfast recommended. Rooms are just ok. I paid for queen and gave me 2 single attached. Was a romantic trip for God's sake ..... 🙄 it is NOT cheap for spain standards but if you want to see this beautiful city it's convenient .
A brilliant location for Segovia, easy to get to by car but right on the edge of the main old town part. We saw some people trying to drive in some of the old town - not a good idea, incredibly tight roads! Note the entrance to the underground parking is on the left hand end when facing the hotel - need to buzz to get in. A view of the aqueduct right from the room and pretty easy walking distance to...
It's an okay hotel. The decor is dated but reasonably well maintained. Our room never really cooled well but we were there only 2 nights and didn't want to try a different room. The internet is 1990s slow. The breakfast is what you would expect for free. The coffee really sucked!

Segovia, Doctor Velasco, 9 🧭 Map
Loved our spacious room and terrace with its lovely view. Sadly, hotel roof terrace is closed. There is a large underground car park in the road behind the hotel, which costs €14 per night, which was a big bonus for us. A few other reviewers have had problems arranging parking so this is what we did and it worked ok...I emailed a week before we arrived. Response was quick and they said we could park...
Old European charm with modern updates, Pleasant staff and service, a great location within walking distance to the Cathedral, Alcarzar, and Plaza de Mayor. The family suite had two cute rooms with nice views.
Stayed here in early May 2022. Quaint hotel near Plaza Mayor, and refurbished well. Pros: Carparking very easy and you can wheel your luggage directly into the lift and the room. The property is quaint and clean. Cons: VERY VERY NOISY as you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms - from conversations to the pipes when someone showers. The receptionists are super lovely but there is a language...
Hotel is in the old.Segovia City. Easy access to most of the historical places. Rooms are Good and Clean. But Breakfast only have very limited selection and same on every day. That is not enough.
Rooms were relatively spacious. Everything was clean. Reception staff were friendly. Convenient parking located onsite for a fee. Very happy for the price paid.

Best hotel experience ever. Great room with unique views. Restaurant was great. And loved the bar area. 5 stars in everything!
Whau, What a fine hotel. At first I was sceptical about this modern building placed outside town. Well, I was wrong. The building was fantastic and with a amazing view. We Stayed 2 nights. The room, the employees, the location and the breakfast was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay at this Parador.
A gorgeous parador with spectacular views over Segovia, the cathedral and just including the aquaduct. Spacious, well-appointed rooms and luxurious restaurant.
Luxurious parador with fantastic views of Segovia. Got taxis in and out of Segovia. Easier and much cheaper than driving and parking.
Average 3 stars. For the price you pay I expected a lot more. No coffee/tea in the rooms. No gym. Indoor pool/tennis court closer. Coffee only available from 11AM. Rooms are no insulated you hear neighbours easily. Service is ok nothing special. I’d spend my money better elsewhere next time .
Have you ever wanted to stay in a lair of a James Bond villain, and I’m taking the opulent ones from Dr. No, or Diamonds are Forever era…than look no further than the Parador. The vast open common areas with black rock floors shined to perfection, the views that will take your breath away, the pool with a shark…no wait scratch that last one… This is a wonderful hotel. Hotel «Eurostars Convento Capuchinos»
Segovia, Plazuela Capuchinos, 2 🧭 Map
Outstanding stay with a beautifully designed room which keeps some aspects of the original historic architecture and a huge terrace overlooking a valley. Some highlights: The towels are plush, the shower provides strong water pressure, and firm memory pillows are provided upon request. The breakfast quality is extremely good, and I particularly enjoyed the variety of cold cuts and fruits. The entire...
Brilliant hotel. Staff are so friendly, rooms large, well-appointed and clean. Great breakfast. Hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to the various landmarks. Parking was easy. Plenty of local bars and restaurants . Segovia is well worth visiting
Location is great. Just a short walk to the main sights and the Plaza Major in the heart of this beautiful walled city. The renovation of the Convent into a hotel is lovely. Our room was spacious. Very clean. Outside there are terraced gardens which have gone to weed and disrepair. Such a shame as they would provide a nice seating area or strolling area to take in the view and are the only outdoor...
Well-located w great view to the north (ask). Visited April 2020 when restaurant not running. Breakfast service nifty, though. Beds comfy and LOTS of hot water. Wife and I thought room very dry — could not think why. Pool, bath and hot rooms not controlled by hotel so scheduling an issue. Excellent staff. Some worn fixtures. Not sure this is 5-star w/o restaurant and pool but don’t know the criteria...
Beautiful hotel. One criticism is that one of the girls at reception (on night shifts) is not friendly and she seems unhappy when asked for assistance. Definitely not service with a smile! But otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice location in a silent area of the Segovia old town. Very hospitable employees and a wonderfull hotel that was formerlly a convent.

Great basic breakfast. Great location, just outside the main part of the city but a nice short walk. Good clean facilities.
Room tidy, free internet, toilet and shower up to par with costlier places, unlike many budget class rooms the plumbing works perfectly. Service friendly, unfortunately do not speak english. Segovia is not a big city so everything is within 10 minutes walking distance. Parking is difficult, but no more than anywhere else in southern Europe.

this hotel has excellent location walking distance to city center / rooms are nice and clean / pity that wifi is not reaching fourth floor ... not acceptable for a 4 star hotel
Very friendly staff on the reception, we felt very welcome. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the bus station and the aquaduct . Rooms were very clean and comfortable! Would definitely come back.
The location is perfect as a starting point for exploring Segovia. The room was very good in overall.
Newly refurbished hotel located in a walking range(10 min) from the aqueduct and the old city. Rooms are very modern and nicely decorated. Very clean. Breakfast have very limited choices for 11 euros. There is no restaurant open in the hotel, understandable seeing the number of clients. Very good value for the money
Excellent location for access to the main sites. Just 5 minutes walk to the Aquaduct. Good reception and clean rooms. Garage facility secure and easy accessibility if a little pricey at 11 euros per day for hotel guests. Only downside was Wi-Fi which although free was a bit unreliable. We had a 5hr down time. Otherwise a nice hotel and would use again.
Small rooms, but very comfortable. The adjoining bar/restaurant was wonderful. We had great drinks and tapas there. Easy walk to aquaduct and sights.

Good sized comfy room. Further out from the centre of town, but so enjoyable to walk along the aqueduct as it rises from ground level. Quiet room was bonus with jet lag!
I went to the hotel ti have a dinner at the restaurant Claustro. The place is very nice, the menu seemed good and everything we ordered was tasty, but the service was very poor and slow. The waiters were working so unhappy that we decided to order a salad and live. So shame….. I am sure the chef is good and the restaurant could be one of the best in Segovia if the service was better
I can't say enough positive comments about this hotel. The staff are great, the room was lovely and to be honest I just didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone for making our short break in Segovia extra special
“Great historical property, wonderfully accessible by car with secure parking area and close to town center” This hotel was PERFECT for someone driving into town with a rental car. Hotel Real Segovia is right in the centre of the city, yet it was quiet and peaceful. And a very affordable price! I was traveling solo and felt well looked after. The hotel is clean and beautiful, however there was a front desk receptionist named Petya who appears to still work there, who ended up trying to strike up a romance with my father clearly to get something from him be it money or US residency and it’s quite apparent that wasn’t her first time using her job at the hotel to try and find a man. He asked her about tickets to see a local site and she ended...
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Biggest complaint is the noise. The walls and doors are very thin so you hear everyone in the hallways, doors slamming, people talking , house keeping banging away. We asked about room service one night, it was late, they said they didn't have any....yet their website advertises a 24 hour late night menu. During the day, the food at the restaurant was not good...
Hello, we loved our stay at NH Collection Suecia. Veronica and Yolanda at the front desk were awesome. We liked that the location was not in the old city center and yet within a short walking distance. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the impressive spread and variety for breakfast. I appreciated the large bed and the exceptional service from Antonia (Toni) and Carla, those two were most helpful and accomodating to our needs.
Environment is incredibly in an historic city. Being in the centre means is close to everything. Great breakfast, everything with quality. Clean and comfortable room. Would recomend.
Parking is a little scary, but doable ! Our room looked out onto a stone wall maybe only 3 or 4 metres away, so make sure you don't get this one if possible. But other than these very minor issues it was a great place to stay
Very clean and really good service. Quiet place and big rooms. Breakfast had little options it could be a little better.
Loved this hotel.. Beautifully decorated throughout, the bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was very modern, everything very clean. The breakfast buffet had a complete choice, especially for a small hotel and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

clean and comfortable. Convenient location accessible by toad but a short walk to the centre of town.
Perfect location to visit Segovia, really close to El Acueducto and the rest of the city. No need for a car, just to walk around. Hotel needs an update and try not to select a room facing the main road, it is quite noisy.
Nice hotel, very handy to walk to the city centre, nice rooms, very clean. Nice staff, expensive breakfast, very basic.
Great sunset on the cathedral but expensive accommodation outside the old town. No secure luggage storage offered before check in. No room safe as advertised before I accepted the booking
The Hotel Corregidor was a perfect place to be based for exploring both Segovia and the the surrounding countryside. The hotel itself is located right at the center of the city, almost right on Plaza Mayor, which is great for visiting.
What a great place to stay! Right next to the Plaza Mayor and on the main street to the aqueduct. Wonderfully clean rooms, with nice firm beds. Great front desk staff. A bargain and clean place for a visit to Segovia. The street in front was closed for construction and that made access complicated. If you drive, know how to get to the garage before you arrive.
Great hotel, service, and location. The room was very nice, but air conditioning was broken, and I couldn't even use a fan for circulation. The morning breakfast buffet was well worth the price. Basic but not too expensive for Segovia. Good WiFi. Food and drink available on the ground floor. My room was in an annex further along the street but that was no inconvenience. Not too far from the centre and very close to the Camino de Santiago.
It's located in a great, quiet and peaceful place in Segovia, being a remarkable place to have some drinks. It's also located by the train station, so it's well communicated with the transport. The only inconvenience is that it's a bit far from the monuments in the city.
