Hotel «San Antonio el Real»

Good sized comfy room. Further out from the centre of town, but so enjoyable to walk along the aqueduct as it rises from ground level. Quiet room was bonus with jet lag!

I can't say enough positive comments about this hotel. The staff are great, the room was lovely and to be honest I just didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone for making our short break in Segovia extra special

“Great historical property, wonderfully accessible by car with secure parking area and close to town center”
This hotel was PERFECT for someone driving into town with a rental car. The secure parking was lovely and there were covered annd uncovered options. The hotel is on the edge of the historical part of Segovia, and situated right at the top/beginning of the ancient Roman aqueduct which is less than one block away. This location meant that we could get there by car without venturing into the super narrow cobblestone streets of the old city but we were right next to all of that. It was about a 12 minute walk downhill to the heart of the shopping and historical district near the main span of the aqueduct. Virtually the entire walk you are walking alongside the 2000 year-old aqueduct and you could feel the history on the walk. The neighborhood felt very safe for myself and my college aged daughter who was on spring break learning about history of Spain. The location was a 25 minute walk to the cathedral and the plaza Mayor. It took us maybe 35 minutes to walk to the Alcazar through the most beautiful, winding scenic historical parts of the city. If we came back to Segovia I would ABSOLUTELY stay at this hotel again! The breakfast was delicious and served buffet style with many options including Jamon Iberico many different bread, options, several different types of coffee, sausages, cheeses, eggs, etc.
The rooms were a bit sparse, but that was to be expected from staying in a historical property that used to be a monastery/convent. The center courtyard was lovely with the historic layout of the old monastery, adding to the ambience with columns and arches reminiscent of La Mesquita in Cordoba. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is an elevator for those who do not want to use the stairs. In summary, the location was AMAZING, the easy in/easy out secured parking was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and the historical nature of the property made it feel special. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for first time visitors who want to experience beautiful, historic Segovia.

The stay was good but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly and the food was good, as were the bed and the room.

Location is great. Parking to garage is tricky. Breakfast is recommended. Room is small and the shower makes water everywhere.

Great place to stay, fab location, amazing food and really comfy bed

We stayed for 1 night. We had dinner in the restaurant it was wonderful. We had the set menu which included the suckling pig absolutly wonderful shame I already had paid for breakfast as I was still full next morning. A 15 minute walk to town centre but worth it for the restaurant.
