Monte Carmelo

I was surprised and delighted by our stay at Monte Carmelo.

The room was spacious and well organized, the bathroom as well.
Super clean, walk-in shower and very well equipped. (Incl. new hairbrushes, toothbrushes, etc.)

Double windows made it very quiet inside
The extra large bed was excellent to sleep in.

The reception was very good in answering questions and providing help

Walking distance to Plaza d’Espagna (15 min) and also to city center.

All in all and excellent choice!

Breakfast was decent. Hotel is new, and room was clean. Garage is a claustrophobic. If you have issues navigating a car in small spaces, I don’t recommend that you use hotel parking.

The room was so big by European standards. We had a king size bed and bunk beds. The location is great! We walked everywhere! The staff at the front desk were always so helpful.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. It was central yet quiet, everything was walkable. The room was so comfortable and I had some of the most comfortable sleeps on that huge bed. The tv was huge and they had all toiletries covered. I cant recommend this place enough. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always greeting us when left or entered the hotel. I especially wanted to say a huge thank you to the lady who hosts the breakfast, when I told her I was gluten intolerant she especially made me a platter every day. Every morning she would check on me to see how was doing and even went out of her way to show me the directions to the best shops. I will definitely be back in the future.

A modern hotel in a quiet neighborhood close to the old quarters (15 min walk). Best hotel beds ever, very friendly and helpful staff. Modern and cosy interior in our room and very clean. Car parking in own garage (booking required). Good breakfast buffet.

Great hotel and centrally located in the city and the festivities. All sights within walking distance. Staff very correct. Breakfast excellent. Long breakfast times (till 11:00) Nice extra toiletries such as toothbrush and hairbrush. Room with small refrigerator. Two supermarkets around the corner. Restaurants nearby. Bathroom perfect. "Do not disturb" lights on the outside of the door.. Cleaning excellent and friendly.
TV with Chromecast built-in came in handy. Online check-in in advance is also very useful. Airport bus (public bus €1.65 pp) stops on the other side of the bridge (750 m) nice! Some points to note: only one elevator for 5 floors with 19 rooms each. When it was under maintenance, we were kindly helped into the small housekeeping elevator.
Wifi was okay. But login more often needed. So always keep an eye on whether you end up on 4G after all.
Air conditioning a bit too warm for me. And it was the end of March...
Hotel is indeed a city hotel. No problems with traffic sound because it is located on narrow street. But don't expect a view.
We stayed here for a week and definitely will come back here.

We stayed here for three nights. I chose this place primarily because it had underground parking, which was very convenient. The garage was tight for me, but I am from the United States. Our parking garages are much bigger and roomier.

The service here is excellent. A few examples… at breakfast, they offered to make me coffee when I could have easily made it myself. Whenever we left or entered, the staff at the desk would stand up to greet me. They even washed my car’s windshield for me!

The breakfast is great. Very wide selection of foods. Everything tasted good.

The location is excellent. It isn’t in the busiest part of Seville but it’s very close. You can walk to Plaza de España in 15 minutes. We always felt safe.

Our room was clean and modern. We had plenty of space. The only issue we had was with our air conditioner. The air didn’t feel cold. We just opened a window instead.

Overall, a great place to stay and I would stay here again.

Our three night stay here was wonderful. Nice appointed rooms, excellent location; comfortable walking distance to Seville center, but in a nice residential area. Breakfast was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and helpful; we felt very welcome here. Thank you!

Great hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows. Also a very well stocked room.with all the amenities you will need. High quality towels too. Just a pity that the reception and hotel staff have very limited to no English (which for a 4 star hotel and in a busy tourist city is a must have language skill I believe)
