Policies and conditions
- Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 15 per day.
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children from 1 year old to 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
People 3 years old and over stay for € 25 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. - Pets are not allowed.

Xavi was a great host. Really genuine welcome and warmth. A dude who clearly takes pride in his work. Right in the middle of tarragona and the price was brilliant. Place had loads of character too and didn't feel sterile like a lot of hotels and B&Bs do. Will be back if ever I need a place to stay in Tarragona again!

Xavi is the most generous and thoughtful host one could hope for. There is no better value for money than Hotel Pigal, and Xavi will go out of his way to ensure you have a pleasant stay, and are well informed about all Tarragona has to offer. Cannot recommend highly enough

Very clean, very functional and user friendly. The owners and workers are all very friendly and available and they will go the extra mile to improve not only your stay but also your visit to the city, providing you with an explanation of what to see and where to go in Tarragona. Highly recommend!

Very nice staff, clean facility. Loved the time they take to explain what you can do around town! Some rooms have the bathroom apart (but not shared), which didn't bother me at all.

This is a great place to end and begin each during your stay in Tarragona. The staff are quite friendly and multi-lingual. It's not the Ritz but it doesn't pretend to be. They have a dining area, kitchen, sitting room that are more than enough. Everything was very clean. The bath was exceptional. A cool shower after the hot day was super refreshing. The rooms are quiet. We were in the back and heard nothing (unlike Madrid). The location is great too. We went to the market every morning for fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, smoothies, etc. My motto in Tarragona is, when you see jamon, just eat it!

Room was many degrees Celsius hotter than outdoors from check-in until 7am the following day. At check-in, the front desk was notified twice of the poor conditions.
The bathroom was external and smelt like a sewer.
In an attempt to lower the room temperature, both doors to the hallway and the main balcony (street level) were required to be open, which created safety and insect issues.
The hotel ownership and the booking agency were both notified multiple times of the issues of not providing reasonable shelter for the high cost.
Both Pigal Hotel and Priceline / Agoda have chosen to be difficult to communicate with and feel that a simple no to any apology or refund is sufficient.
Do not waste your time here, you will be more comfortable elsewhere. I stayed at a fantastic hotel for 10 euro more the following night.

Simple hotel with all the necessities. Excellent service (Xavi in particular) from the front desk providing tips where to visit in the city and is always making sure the hotel guests are content. Besides that is it located at the perfect spot in the city where the centre and the coast are walking distance. 10/10 would recommend for stay. Ps. There is also a lovely restaurant right across the hotel with good quality food for a surprisingly cheap price.

When we checked in we were greeted by the reception Albert. He is super friendly and helpful. All staff are amazing. The room is perfect ,the location is great, it is really a gem in terragona,do not look for other hotels ,this is the best hotel here,they deserve more than 10/10.I strongly recommended it ,you will love it

The staff are excellent, with lots of information about the area, really very helpful. The Hotel has a great cosy friendly communal area where visitors can meet and chat if they want. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit this Hotel again. Our room was simple and comfortable, just what we wanted on a budget and to visit this beautiful and vibrant city
