Hotel Hermes in Tossa de Mar

We did not stay here, but ate twice during our stay in Tossa de mar. The chicken & chips were so delicious & an excellent price, so we would recommend if you don’t mind dining away from the seafront & old town. It really is value for money 🤩. Would definitely return

We have been staying at hotel Hermes, tossa de mar for more than 10 years....it's like home from home! Francisca is the host with the most, and Isabel is so welcoming to us too. The beds are so comfortable and we always have the best night's sleep. Breakfast is wonderful......oh and the burgers are great too. We just love this place. It's a big 10 out of 10 from us!)

Just returned from two weeks at the Hermes Hotel what a lovely relaxing holiday. Francesa and Isabel are lovely make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotless, the beds and pillows are quality, there was always plenty of hot water and the shower good. The air con also good. We are not beach people so we sat on the sun terrace to relax and to cool off in the Jacuzzi. The hotel is ideally located just a short stroll from the bus station, bars, restaurants and shops all close by.

Saw this highly rated hotel from tripadvisor reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Paid £244 for two of us for six nights in twin room that was spacious clean (room cleaned every morning with beds remade and fresh towels if wanted). Always hot water for showers and a sweet balcony to sit on if you wanted.Owner and staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly- they even have Yorkshire tea so most nights we wandered back for a pot of tea before bed. The rooftop terrace had six loungers and more chairs for lovely lazy days in the sun if you didn’t want to go far- well thought out space and with a refreshing jacuzzi in the corner. There’s a basement pool and lift too. We had breakfast several times which was really cheap (€3.30 for warm croissants and pots of tea) and pizza for lunch €8 but there’s several supermarkets and cafes nearby too. You are ten mins walk from the beach and castle, passing all the busier streets with restaurants and bars.the bus station and petrol station are two mins up the street but it’s a lovely quiet place with a “locals vibe” we easily caught the bus to lloret de mar one day €5 return but preferred tossa as prettier and more quaint. The locals speak Catalan rather than French or Spanish but all are friendly - none more so than the lovely owner of this hotel. Definitely pleased we stayed and would highly recommend to others (we stayed in room 320 in may) weather was pretty good - mid 20s most days

Very good value for money for this one-star hotel which deserves one more! Impeccable welcome and cleanliness despite thin partitions and very cold water (jacuzzi and small swimming pool) in April.

All perfect . I recommend it . Good service and customer service and optimal quality-price ratio. It is right next to the bus station and 400 meters from the beach of Tossa de Mar. On the terrace there is a swimming pool with a jacuzzi from which you can admire the entire landscape of Tossa of sea I recommend it to everyone.
