Hotels on first line in Tossa de Mar

I cannot put into words how much we loved this hotel, the staff, the room, the pool, the restaurant, the food, the cleanliness, just absolutely perfect. We loved it so much we will definitely be returning

Our boys' soccer team stayed there in April and will go back this coming April too. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. Close to the town centre (5-7 minute walk), a big grocery store (2-minute walk)

It is just out of the centre but only about 10 minutes to the beach. Also Tossa itself is a lovely town which has avoided the over commercialism of many holiday resorts

Comfortable quiet room, extremely wide range of very good food, clean, spacious lounges with reasonably priced drinks and varied entertainment. In fact this hotel has a great deal to recommend it

The location is brilliant, only a 10 min walk to the beach and there were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along the way

We just LOVE Golden Bahia, honestly the staff are incredible. Recently having to cancel our holiday last minute due to a very poorly baby, the hotel could not have been anymore accommodating

The food at Hotel Don Juan Tossa was a different story, the first hotel I've felt like I could enjoy the meat, they had a variety of it each night including chicken, beef (or veal), pork and sometimes sausages, all of which was cooked amazingly (specifically the beef was amazing, so soft and tasty)

Nice big salad bar and also always the option for generic pastas with meat which is comforting when you don't want to try anything new or are feeling fragile from the night before! The chefs did an amazing job of making sure everyone felt catered for by having a variety of mains as well as dessert

We went from the 8th - 15th October, on the website it explained that they would be celebrating Oktoberfest and Halloween during our time and we went to expecting much but wow

As someone who will not book a hotel without scouring the reviews before hand, I thought it was only fair to return the favour and give my honest opinion of the hotel

The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, in the lunch and dinner service you feel as if you are in a real restaurant as you get seated by the host and the amazing waiters come around asking for your drinks orders and bring them to you which is a really nice touch

Firstly I would like to say, I don't usually eat meat abroad as it usually not similar to UK meat and I usually just find it gross to be honest

Very nice place, very kind stuff. The breakfast is also great, but personally I missed more vegetables. The hotel is very close to beach, the city center and also to chastle.

Wasn't much happening at the small pool or the bar (but again it was the end of the season and the hotel was probably only half full) but we were happy to go out and sample the local bars & night-life in Tossa

Even though it was the last week of the season (Oct 10-15th) the food was fresh & tasty at breakfast lunch & dinner, although there was not a huge selection. The only disappointment was dessert

Now for the food we tried it for the first day but really it was just standard nothing to look forward to, the layout of the cafeteria made me feel like I was in high school haha! Location of the hotel is great a short walk away from all the lovely restaurants and beaches I also recommend going to the small super market on the road they sell fresh pastries that are to die for! All-inclusive beer was only served in small glasses so spirits & mixers are recommended and usually poured in strong measures! Unfortunately the sister hotel across the street was closed (you can use the facilities there when open)

For the price we paid I cannot complain about this nice little hotel. We stayed 5 nights all-inclusive

We traveled to Tossa on a limb from August 15-18 and absolutely fell in love thanks to the staff and service at Gran Reymar. The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach and includes a great poolside area

We stayed on the 7th floor (712) with a sea view which was amazing. The balcony sliding windows open almost the whole side of the room to give the best panoramic view of the beach and hillside

We went to the beach directly outside the hotel which was clean and easy enough to get a sunbed and umbrella everyday. It does however get noticeably busier at the weekends

Fabulous hotel in a really beautiful spot right by the beach. Very clean room, extremely friendly staff, relaxed rules and peaceful environment

Only knock would be the rooms are outdated but never the less clean. We included the breakfast with our stay. There are two eating areas, both with amazing views of the ocean and beach

The beach is a short distance, but there is a larger beach which is a little further but its a beautiful walk. Pretty large room considering its Europe

The facilities are more than you could ask for, big outdoor pool, a water slide that is bigger and better than it looks on the pictures, a kids pool that my toddler loved! alongside good tennis courts, volleyball area, 5 aside football pitches and crazy golf

Fantastic resort, has a little acuatic park, and pools, the apartments are really nice and with beautiful views of the beach, and the bar is good

All these things would be expected on a holiday, but it is the staff at Pola Giverola that really make the place shine. Kind friendly and helpful regardless of what is needed 👍

We stepped out of the humid spanish heat, into a perfectly chilled modern apartment, set open plan over 2 levels with a balcony that boasted a sea view

I was tempted to score this place down, just so as not to draw the crowds in, but then I realised nobody knows me, or is in the slightest bit interested in my opinion! For anyone reading, give this place a go, you will be amazed

We came here not sure what to expect as Tui gave it 3 Ts. whatever that means?! We arrived and made our way to our rooms

Came here in June with my school on a water sports trip. Air conditioning could be better but location was perfect. 10 minute walk from the beach made it easy to get to our activities, and rooms were always clean

Very good 70s style hotel with polite and helpful staffing. Good breakfast and or lunch. Rooms are very well kept and although somewhat dated everything looks nice. Near centre and very good price.

We enjoyed very much the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we are in Tossa

I really like this hotel. It is in a great location near the town centre of Tossa de Mer and the beach. Very nice friendly staff and a very good breakfast!

The hotel looks nice for the price, room and breakfast was good, we also had parking and it was close to the beach (10 min ) and a lot of shopps and restaurants, but I can't recomand it because of the NOISE, it was extremely difficult to sleep when you hear everything from the kitchen, hallway or cleaning stuff room

Actually our first room was not properly cleaned so they gave us another room, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The pools are way smaller than on the pictures - we did not felt like staying there

Downstairs pool full of kids, upstairs pool is like a 3 meter pool

We stayed here with our little one and we loved it that much that we decided to stay a other night although be ready to spend some money as the price is quite pricey. Really comfy beds, big and clean rooms

Honestly would go back in a heart beat, the rooms are huge and so comfortable, the breakfast buffet in tje morning has so many options all quality and of course the rooftop pool is incredible, makes you want to stay there the whole day just seeing the views of the sea and the old city plus the cocktails were really well priced

Good range on offer for breakfast and I also ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings and appreciated the wide variety of dishes on offer at the buffet. I would certainly be happy to return

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay here. Lovely clean well appointed room, with effective air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated in the current heatwave

This is an amazing little hotel. It's a short walk from the main centre and beach. Price of other meals and drinks very reasonable. Managed to pick up a great deal in October

For the price, you will be amazed at the standard you get. Can't speak for peak season as haven't stayed so will probably be more expensive which is understandable

The property itself was well maintained and smelled REALLY GOOD haha. The hotel itself is within walking distance to everything and the beach

We were really tired from our exploration and were recovering from being sick, so the overall place, the ocean, and the hotel added to our overall rest and the needed "calmness" of our entire trip

However, I feel that the customer service from all the employees of the hotel was outstanding. I have nothing but good words to say. I would stay here again if I were in the area

We loved this quaint little hotel, it is very charming with AC and has a at home type atmosphere. It’s Right on the beach, next to the castle and walking distance to everything

Can't beat the location - right on the beach and under the old town. Relatively speaking, not too expensive

It is surrounded by great little restaurants and of course the historical and breathtaking views. The best part of this stay was the service provided by the hotel staff. Wonderful staff and the breakfast was AMAZING

I got lost trying to find parking (somewhat difficult with normal GPS), and when I called the hotel she told me to stay put and she ran from the hotel to my location and then guided me back to the hotel

I have been staying at the Cap d'Or since the mid 1980s. The size of the hotel and its location cannot be beat. Yes, it's a bit distant from parking, but the walk through town is enjoyable

Great hotel for a romantic getaway. Good view of the castle walls and right on the beach. The breakfast was really nice but we didn't eat lunch or dinner here as the restaurant gets really busy.

We ate in the restaurant - 2 families with kids - and chose the set lunch menu. Food was great and service friendly and professional. Would definitely come back!

First, the location is stunning, right on the beach. The staff was super attentive and went absolutely out of their way to help us on our stay

They provided us with an early breakfast when we had a tour and helped with special requests. All I can say is that the staff was friendly, rooms clean, air-conditioning cold, and it was an amazing stay for the price

A simple hotel where time stood still years ago. Centrally located and just a few steps to the beach. Our room had no air conditioning but 2 fans

the beach is 2 mins walk from the hotel,shops and restaurants too,just up the hill is the castle tower lovely view of the sea a little train takes you up and down for 6 euros recommend it it's a steep climb! Lots of restaurants to choose from loads of tiny shops sell Everything we celebrated our silver wedding in Tossa back in 1996 saw Maria Rosa on a trip to the beach and loved it took till this year...

Very friendly but our room, for the price, needed a little up dating, handy for the beach and restaurants, shops though quite noisy at night.

Lovely little place we were made very welcome. really nice, family run,clean and cozy feel to the place. only complaint we had was the shower it was a bit temperamental too hot or freezing and flooded the floor daily

When the patio door was open and the two fans were on, the temperatures were bearable. Breakfast is simple, but you get full. The hotel is owner-managed and employs nice staff

There is no elevator, but a steep staircase 😉 If you don't value luxury and are only in the room to sleep, then this is the place for you

Clean rooms, good food options including vegetarian, good staff, pool and various facilities for old and young customers in hotel, loved our staff, wouldn't mind going back again.

Food lovely but more of a Canteen then a restaurant, no way you can sit & relax and enjoy your meal. The table's & seats are so close together. Evening meal is between 8pm & 10pm

The swimming pool is warm inside but it has a certain max capacity so when it's full people come to swim and they find out they can't go in. I didn't see anywhere that there was some maximum but the worker just tell it

The location is ideal for getting around on foot. The hotel is surrounded by residential properties as u can see from the photos

We were moved to this hotel as one we originally chose was no longer available. Hotel it's self seems busy, even for October/end of season. rooms feel a little small, but nice and clean

The pool smells a lot like chlorine and all spa too. After going to spa and using normal shower after, all your body and skin smell like chlorine. Parking at hotel is 20 euro per day

For a 3* hotel is much more then we were expecting. We had a bed and breakfast for a week. Breakfast was unreal, all type of food and fruits for different type of cousine. Pool small but very nice, never overcrowd

The only downfall is the sound insulation but it is a old hotel and the pool area when packed can feel like a bit of a goldfish bowl

Warm friendly staff, from the masseuse to the cook in the restaurant. Lovely massage, the spa is very pleasant and the food excellent with something for everyone. Easy to feed the kids and also plenty of healthy options

We had a lovey stay here all the colleagues were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned regularly and fresh towels provided almost daily. The buffet choice for us on Full Board was fresh varied and something to suit all

Pool with some entertainment but not overbearing. Overall the decor maybe a little tired but that is the only negative point

There is a big supermarket, but the smaller one we visited on the way back from the beach had pretty competitive prices (15% bottle of red for €6

The Cava Sangria was delicious and had a kick. The location is up a little lane going up the hill and about 10 mins strolling to the beach

The rooms are great value for money and, although not packed with extras, good quality, comfortable, and spotless. The large shower is bliss in the morning (and, why don't we have bidets in the UK??? 🤔)

The town itself gas loads to explore and masses of history. Big mention to the local council who have put lots of multi language points around the town. It's no Loret De Mar, but that's how we love it

The town is quite a bit bigger than we first expected (from the ubiquitous YouTube videos - thanks to all those posters btw) and it will take a few days to fully cover

Only 10 minutes to beach, loads of restaurants and bars nearby and shops. Rooms spacious, water pressure in shower fantastic. Bring travel kettle tho if want coffee in room

Brilliant for such a low price- pool smaller than expected and a good idea to avoid the fish, however the air con was a life saver and balcony was a good size

Food good. Staff helpful and pleasant. Clean and tidy public areas. Bedrooms and bathroom clean and basic. Good for 3 star. 2 good outdoor pools.

Walls thin so if you're unlucky enough to be there whilst a school is, such as mine, you're unlikely to get any sleep till they do

The location is perfect if you are looking for something away form the touristy and quiet. It's not far away from the beach and it's right next to the bus station

The room was clean with enough space and a balcony even though we chose one of the cheaper ones. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits. On top of the hotel there is a terrace and jacuzzi free to use by ever guest

ATMs are really close and it has a couple of supermarkets in the same block. The only downside was the scramble eggs in the breakfast. It's the only place I've been that have had terrible scramble eggs

It was a really good experience, the room and room service was quite good, the room had a private terrace and a bathtub. The terrace and the solarium were quite comfortable and the jacuzzi was cool

Fantastic hotel! We only stayed for four nights but we'll definitely be back. Hotel is spotless and located right on the beach front with a short walk to the sand. The rooms are serviced every day with fresh towels

Went there as a last minute trip and had no real expectations aside from something clean and near the beach. However, we were given the room with the sea view and terrace which was breathtaking

The highlight of the hotel is definitely the outside terrace just steps away from the beach with amazing sea views

Complimentary drinks in fridge on arrival was a nice touch (bottled water, two Coca-Cola, two sparkling wine). The pool area is lovely, clean and we never had a problem with loungers or chairs

This is a lovely hotel that is big enough to be able two entertain the children and give them something always too do, yet is quiet enough for the parents to relax and for the children to sleep (and adults too) at night

Great location, quiet area too but ten mins from the shops and restaurants. Hotel well ran with great helpful staff. Breakfast gave a great choice. Only issue was parking, but luckily found a space near the hotel

Stayed here the first time we went to Tossa in 2017. It has everything you could want, if you're not someone who wants a hotel to have all the bells and whistles. We loved it and stayed here again in 2019

Bed, toilet, shower and somewhere to make a drink or some food. Staff are fantastic and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be returning, in 2020 and beyond
