Hotels on first line in Tossa de Mar

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! My daughter loved being in the outdoor pool for most of the holiday. Staff were friendly enough and answered your questions. The food was delicious and there was good variety

Comfortable quiet room, extremely wide range of very good food, clean, spacious lounges with reasonably priced drinks and varied entertainment. In fact this hotel has a great deal to recommend it

There was perfect place for children : pool with perfect slides (even safe for small children), mini club (I saw, that kids love girls from golden club, because they were very involved ;))

It is just out of the centre but only about 10 minutes to the beach. Also Tossa itself is a lovely town which has avoided the over commercialism of many holiday resorts

Chefs deserved for a raise! Everyday they offered something else to eat and everyday it was perfect. Thanks a lot, it was beautiful holiday! I hope that next year we will come back to your hotel

Staff were really helpful when needed which wasn't often. The bar and entertainment area were really stylish and the entertainment each night was decent

The food at Hotel Don Juan Tossa was a different story, the first hotel I've felt like I could enjoy the meat, they had a variety of it each night including chicken, beef (or veal), pork and sometimes sausages, all of which was cooked amazingly (specifically the beef was amazing, so soft and tasty)

The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, in the lunch and dinner service you feel as if you are in a real restaurant as you get seated by the host and the amazing waiters come around asking for your drinks orders and bring them to you which is a really nice touch

The rooftop pool bar wasn't open for the duration of our holiday so we did have to get our drinks from the main bar downstairs, however there is a lift or escalators to and from this get to the pool

Nice big salad bar and also always the option for generic pastas with meat which is comforting when you don't want to try anything new or are feeling fragile from the night before! The chefs did an amazing job of making sure everyone felt catered for by having a variety of mains as well as dessert

We stayed in the superior triple room which was newly refurbished as you could tell it was lovely and clean and decorated very nice, I was particularly impressed with the mini fridge and balcony in the room however I will note there was no kettle

Firstly I would like to say, I don't usually eat meat abroad as it usually not similar to UK meat and I usually just find it gross to be honest

Great pool and restaurant and bar/ lobby with lots of outdoor seating. Could not find a towel outside for the pool. Only had two in the room, one ach, which we needed for our shower but no complaints at all

We traveled to Tossa on a limb from August 15-18 and absolutely fell in love thanks to the staff and service at Gran Reymar. The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach and includes a great poolside area

We chose to dine in for some breakfast, lunch, and dinners and enjoyed the menu every time. Although it is a fixed menu, there are still plenty of options for each course

Not to mention we were surprised with a no charge room upgrade upon check in as well as complementary flip flops! Only complaint is that we can’t stay at the hotel year round. Hope to be back in the spring :)

The hotel clearly takes great pride in maintaining and cleaning facilities/bedrooms, the pool area is great and we've never had trouble getting a spot. There are lots of fabulous views of the sea/castle/hills

We stayed on the 7th floor (712) with a sea view which was amazing. The balcony sliding windows open almost the whole side of the room to give the best panoramic view of the beach and hillside

Very nice place, very kind stuff. The breakfast is also great, but personally I missed more vegetables. The hotel is very close to beach, the city center and also to chastle.

Wasn't much happening at the small pool or the bar (but again it was the end of the season and the hotel was probably only half full) but we were happy to go out and sample the local bars & night-life in Tossa

Even though it was the last week of the season (Oct 10-15th) the food was fresh & tasty at breakfast lunch & dinner, although there was not a huge selection. The only disappointment was dessert

Now for the food we tried it for the first day but really it was just standard nothing to look forward to, the layout of the cafeteria made me feel like I was in high school haha! All-inclusive beer was only served in small glasses so spirits & mixers are recommended and usually poured in strong measures! Unfortunately the sister hotel across the street was closed (you can use the facilities there when open)

For the price we paid I cannot complain about this nice little hotel. We stayed 5 nights all-inclusive

Honestly would go back in a heart beat, the rooms are huge and so comfortable, the breakfast buffet in tje morning has so many options all quality and of course the rooftop pool is incredible, makes you want to stay there the whole day just seeing the views of the sea and the old city plus the cocktails were really well priced

The location is perfect, very close to the beach and different kind of restaurants.. the staff are fantastic and the service is great... really clean and fresh hotel!

Fantastic resort, has a little acuatic park, and pools, the apartments are really nice and with beautiful views of the beach, and the bar is good

The facilities are more than you could ask for, big outdoor pool, a water slide that is bigger and better than it looks on the pictures, a kids pool that my toddler loved! alongside good tennis courts, volleyball area, 5 aside football pitches and crazy golf

All these things would be expected on a holiday, but it is the staff at Pola Giverola that really make the place shine. Kind friendly and helpful regardless of what is needed 👍

We stepped out of the humid spanish heat, into a perfectly chilled modern apartment, set open plan over 2 levels with a balcony that boasted a sea view

I was tempted to score this place down, just so as not to draw the crowds in, but then I realised nobody knows me, or is in the slightest bit interested in my opinion! For anyone reading, give this place a go, you will be amazed

We enjoyed very much the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we are in Tossa

I really like this hotel. It is in a great location near the town centre of Tossa de Mer and the beach. Very nice friendly staff and a very good breakfast!

The hotel looks nice for the price, room and breakfast was good, we also had parking and it was close to the beach (10 min ) and a lot of shopps and restaurants, but I can't recomand it because of the NOISE, it was extremely difficult to sleep when you hear everything from the kitchen, hallway or cleaning stuff room

If you are a good sleeper maybe it will do for you

Actually our first room was not properly cleaned so they gave us another room, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The pools are way smaller than on the pictures - we did not felt like staying there

Downstairs pool full of kids, upstairs pool is like a 3 meter pool

The rooms beautiful design, the service is great, few steps and you're on the beach!

Food lovely but more of a Canteen then a restaurant, no way you can sit & relax and enjoy your meal. The table's & seats are so close together. Evening meal is between 8pm & 10pm

The swimming pool is warm inside but it has a certain max capacity so when it's full people come to swim and they find out they can't go in. I didn't see anywhere that there was some maximum but the worker just tell it

The pool smells a lot like chlorine and all spa too. After going to spa and using normal shower after, all your body and skin smell like chlorine. Parking at hotel is 20 euro per day

Special mention to Maribel in the restaurant whose service was first class - so helpful, extremely friendly, and brilliant with my 2 year old granddaughter 😀

We spent an extremely relaxing week at this wonderful hotel. Very friendly staff, excellent food and in a great location

Came here in June with my school on a water sports trip. Air conditioning could be better but location was perfect. 10 minute walk from the beach made it easy to get to our activities, and rooms were always clean

It is in an area where it is easier to find parking and it is close to the exit and the center Clean room and toilet Friendly and efficient staff

I really enjoyed my family vacation at this hotel. We booked 3 rooms , unfortunately due to booking last minute we could get an oven view room but needless to say to say that service and accommodation were top notch

The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. House keeping meticulously cleans the room which I find highly relevant especially when traveling with children

Hotel Diana is a beautiful place to stay and highly recommended! The location is great, right next to the beach. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious

If you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT! We last minute booked two nights in the suite with the spiral staircase and it was the best decision ever

Casa Sans (aka Can Sans, Can Moré), the house was built as a residence on the seafront of Tossa de Mar for Joan Sans Moré, a cork trader

Didn’t stay in the hotel but me and my partner went to the restaurant and it was the best meal we had in Tossa de mar! I had the chicken kebab and my partner had the goats cheese burger and it was gorgeous, staff were friendly and accommodating and we really enjoyed it

Such a delightful gem in Tossa de Mar. Excellent service, breakfast, clean rooms, and a calm relaxing pool area

But either way- we had a beautiful stay and I’m very pleased. The staff were all wonderful and made a huge impression of how we viewed our stay. Thank you for a lovely getaway, thank you for your hospitality

We look forward to returning one day, in the mean time, I will be singing the praises of Hotel Windsor and Tossa de Mar to friends and family looking for a holiday in Spain!

My only feedback to management is to open the espresso machine in the bar during breakfast, it would be nice to have a fresh latte and not coffee from the machine

You get an extra welcome drink when booking through their web site (and the price also tends to be the best). Breakfast is very very good - great choice and fair quality. Overall exceeding the price ♥️

Room a little too warm due to sunshine, so had to keep AC on most of the time, but good for the rest

I had another massage a few days later as it is so high quality but so reasonably priced. The Spa is fantastic with pool sauna steam room and feels like descending into a Roman baths

Highly recommend having a massage at the Venus Spa at the hotel Neptuno. I had been having some muscular pain in my back and booked a therapeutic back massage

Went last June with my friend and my partner and i are going agin on Saturday 1st June. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and towels changd regularly. Food was good especially breeakfast with good choice of food

I was so glad I did as the masseuse was fantastic and worked hard to pinpoint and work on the muscles causing the problem. My wife had a full body massage and left totally relaxed and refreshed

The room gets cleaned but because of the old room you can’t help but think it’s still dirty in many places

For a 3* hotel is much more then we were expecting. We had a bed and breakfast for a week. Breakfast was unreal, all type of food and fruits for different type of cousine. Pool small but very nice, never overcrowd

The only downfall is the sound insulation but it is a old hotel and the pool area when packed can feel like a bit of a goldfish bowl

Warm friendly staff, from the masseuse to the cook in the restaurant. Lovely massage, the spa is very pleasant and the food excellent with something for everyone. Easy to feed the kids and also plenty of healthy options

We had a lovey stay here all the colleagues were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned regularly and fresh towels provided almost daily. The buffet choice for us on Full Board was fresh varied and something to suit all

Unique experience. The best hotel in the area. Small, cozy and cute. Food is fabulous and service great. Very good wine section and fresh food. If you stay here make sure to check out the steam room near the pool.

I took a long sauna, hopped into the refreshing swimming pool, meditated at the self-service bar that had wonderful views of the Med and town. The staff was unbelievable and took care of our every need

Great four night stay with family. Pool setting in a wonderful garden was a true gem. Awesome place.

My only disappointment is that I only booked this for one night. Be advised that your taxi may have difficulty finding this place given its location, but don't let that change your mind! You may have to walk a little

I love this hotel and everything it has to offer. After a week long cycling trip that took us all over Figueres, the costal area of Palafrugll and Girona, we were looking for a relaxing day at Tossa de Mar

I asked them if I could borrow a few wine glasses and they just appeared. The on sight restaurant Can Sophia was fantastic (see my rare 5 star review) as you'd expect from a place like this

Can't beat the location - right on the beach and under the old town. Relatively speaking, not too expensive

It is surrounded by great little restaurants and of course the historical and breathtaking views. The best part of this stay was the service provided by the hotel staff. Wonderful staff and the breakfast was AMAZING

I got lost trying to find parking (somewhat difficult with normal GPS), and when I called the hotel she told me to stay put and she ran from the hotel to my location and then guided me back to the hotel

I have been staying at the Cap d'Or since the mid 1980s. The size of the hotel and its location cannot be beat. Yes, it's a bit distant from parking, but the walk through town is enjoyable

There are downsides, but a little: 1) in the morning under Windows of there staff and talking loudly, wakes up ahead of time 2) the Breakfast is modest, by the standards of 4 stars, even very modest 3) we dragged towels, but when the officer reviewed the cameras, found the two thieves - they were an elderly family 4) the sea is rocky, but quite cold (by the standards of mid-July) 5) concerts in the...

6) in the middle of the restaurant serve less frequently than the edge, you see there the waiters chase managers, and those who are closer to the stage - there seems to be even ignored on purpose

Although the waiters are a dime a dozen. 7) Parking is paid, though the area allows the idea is to make it free. But overall satisfied (newlyweds on honeymoon)

Only 10 minutes to beach, loads of restaurants and bars nearby and shops. Rooms spacious, water pressure in shower fantastic. Bring travel kettle tho if want coffee in room

Brilliant for such a low price- pool smaller than expected and a good idea to avoid the fish, however the air con was a life saver and balcony was a good size

The pool is small but it is not very busy at the moment, so it is perfect for us. Very good for a reasonably cheap hotel

This is a lovely hotel that is big enough to be able two entertain the children and give them something always too do, yet is quiet enough for the parents to relax and for the children to sleep (and adults too) at night

Great location, quiet area too but ten mins from the shops and restaurants. Hotel well ran with great helpful staff. Breakfast gave a great choice. Only issue was parking, but luckily found a space near the hotel

Stayed here the first time we went to Tossa in 2017. It has everything you could want, if you're not someone who wants a hotel to have all the bells and whistles. We loved it and stayed here again in 2019

Bed, toilet, shower and somewhere to make a drink or some food. Staff are fantastic and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be returning, in 2020 and beyond

Perfect location, right on the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants, a few minutes' walk from the old town. The balcony has an amazing view of the beach and castle
