Where to stay in Tossa de Mar

Our boys' soccer team stayed there in April and will go back this coming April too. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. Close to the town centre (5-7 minute walk), a big grocery store (2-minute walk). Once we discovered he buffet dinner, we stopped going out to restaurants as the variety of options was huge and it was beyond tasty. Would recommend!

We just LOVE Golden Bahia, honestly the staff are incredible. Recently having to cancel our holiday last minute due to a very poorly baby, the hotel could not have been anymore accommodating. Came here in June with my school on a water sports trip. Air conditioning could be better but location was perfect. 10 minute walk from the beach made it easy to get to our activities, and rooms were always clean. Great for large groups

The hotel looks nice for the price, room and breakfast was good, we also had parking and it was close to the beach (10 min ) and a lot of shopps and restaurants, but I can't recomand it because of the NOISE, it was extremely difficult to sleep when you hear everything from the kitchen, hallway or cleaning stuff room. If you are a good sleeper maybe it will do for you. I don't recomand it.

Service 5/5 nice and helpful. Food 5/5 delicious and varied. Room 3/5 - we booked the last room available, it turned out to be on the first floor at the back of the hotel. Noise from the kitchen and slamming wicket at night as staff left and transport arrived - very annoying.

The breakfast is great, wide selection, clean. The room is okay, but not as on the picture, more like a 3 star hotel. Actually our first room was not properly cleaned so they gave us another room, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The pools are way smaller than on the pictures - we did not felt like staying there. Downstairs pool full of kids, upstairs pool is like a 3 meter pool.

We stayed here with our little one and we loved it that much that we decided to stay a other night although be ready to spend some money as the price is quite pricey. Really comfy beds, big and clean rooms. We enjoyed very much the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. Just returned from a very enjoyable stay here. Lovely clean well appointed room, with effective air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated in the current heatwave. Good range on offer for breakfast and I also ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings and appreciated the wide variety of dishes on offer at the buffet. Friendly helpful staff. I would certainly be happy to return.

This is the greatest hotel in Tossa, great quiet location, clean modern rooms and fab for families. Their biggest asset however is its friendly and accommodating staff, specially Tamara! She is always there giving a warm welcome and the biggest of the smiles. We felt very happy during our stay.

The hotel is a good walking distance from the center, rooms are nice, bathrooms too, the bed is biiig, there's a swimming pool and an amazing breakfast. And during low-mid season you can easily park for free. I would highly recommend this hotel (at least during low-mid season). I have been staying at the Cap d'Or since the mid 1980s. The size of the hotel and its location cannot be beat. Yes, it's a bit distant from parking, but the walk through town is enjoyable. I have seen the changes from fans to air conditioning, no television to tvs and Wi-Fi. Great breakfast, wonderful terrace for drinks, tapas and people watching. We loved this quaint little hotel, it is very charming with AC and has a at home type atmosphere. It’s Right on the beach, next to the castle and walking distance to everything.
