Scandic Rovaniemi City

Very nice experience here in early August. Family room is spacious and cozy and perfect for 4 people. A separate area for coffee bar/coat hanging outside toilet. Visited the Sauna in 5/F which is great for Finnish experience. Buffet Breakfast is far better than expected as various choices of drinks available, and supply of food is really abundant.

Staff are more than nice to help. As some luggage missed the flight from Helsinki, staff here were very friendly when they noted our situation and helped to contact the airport to update the situation, and contacted us promptly once the luggage arrived the hotel.

My experience at Scandic was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean and exuded a cozy ambiance, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The hotel's central location was incredibly convenient, with most attractions within walking distance and easy access to the bus stop just 200 meters away.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast spread. Scandic offered a delightful variety of options, catering to different dietary preferences, including vegan choices. It was refreshing to find such a diverse selection, ensuring that every guest could start their day on a satisfying note.

However, there was a minor hiccup during my stay. Despite specifically requesting a vegan breakfast for a takeout parcel, we were disappointed to receive a non-vegetarian breakfast box instead. This oversight was a tad disappointing, especially considering the attention to detail displayed in other aspects of the hotel's service.

Despite this small inconvenience, my overall experience at Scandic was overwhelmingly positive. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, a central location, and a delicious breakfast spread made for a memorable stay. The staff's attentiveness and the hotel's amenities contributed to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, ensuring that I felt right at home throughout my time there. I would certainly recommend Scandic to anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient accommodation option during their travels.

Location spot on service excellent and rooms as usual as you can expect at Scandic. Had a good time the breakfast was awesome, kids love it. Service was great as always. I enjoy my stay at scandic as always

Very nice hotel, good breakfast and service. Very clean and tidy. Nice sauna and the location is perfect. Parking just outside or in the garage under the hotel.

It's at the best location possible. Close to everything. Bus station, mall, eateries, and tour pickups.The hotel staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good. In-room sauna was excellent.
Only issue is with the shower area. It is extremely small. Water gushes out every time, making the entire bathroom wet.

Modern middle-class hotel in the center of Rovaniemi. The location is ideal for a trip to the region. Santa Claus Village can be easily reached by bus from here. My room was large, the bathroom was a bit small. The bed was comfortable. I liked the furniture. Unfortunately, the room was not well soundproofed. You could always hear noises from the corridor. The breakfast was very good with many specialties from the region. There were also plenty of options for vegans or those with gluten intolerance. The team was friendly and professional. My biggest criticism is the pricing: prices of 500 euros per night were charged over Christmas. This is completely disproportionate for this type of hotel.
