Had a short stay here because we had an early morning flight. Room was cosy and clean. Hotel location was great. Did not go for breakfast as we had to leave early to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place!

Across the road is the main street of Rorovaniemi with supermarkets and restaurants.
Many local tours can also gather in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.
Rich breakfast options
The room size is OK. You can put 2 suitcases at the same time, but the bed is too small (are all beds in Europe like this?). Girls can sleep well, but boys with a height of 180cm will have their feet outside the bed.

Overall we had a great experience with the hotel. The staff were friendly, efficient, helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our three day trip. They have everything!! The restaurant is also had a very warm and calming presence (what other hotels have candles on display during breakfast?). The room was nothing too spectacular, the decorations were nice but the size was a bit on the smaller side. Overall, you get a great location (right in the city centre and close to all the buses), great hot breakfast that will fill you up for the day, and a lovely staff. Oh, and they got this free water jar in the lobby infused with fruits, divine!

Good location in the city center. Nice to be able to walk to restaurants and relax in the hotel in between activities. About 2 blocks from the bus stop. The American style bar downstairs was great with quick service. Only negative was the shower which was so small! I believe this may just be Finland in general, not sure, but a typical obese American would not fit into this shower. I weigh 140lbs and barely had room to wash and there is no shelving to place items such as razor. Overall was a great stay though

Great little gem of a place. Convenient location, close to lots of things but not too close. Staff was great and was super helpful, I wish everyone at everyplace I go was as nice and helpful as these people. I’ll only be here for a short stay but will definitely keep this in consideration for the next trip.

Excellent location, good breakfast and friendly reception. But, rooms are small, not enough space to hang your clothes and bathroom is tiny, smelly, and water from the shower leaks everywhere. But you have a utensil to clean it up… This is not Ok for the price and not in line with the rest of the hotel. (Room 211)

The hotel staff was very nice and introduced many tour services and options. Since we had an early flight, the front desk clerk arranged for a breakfast box to be taken away for us. There are many breakfast options, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby which is very convenient. There are safety issues in the bathroom. It is very important to be very *careful* when taking a shower‼ ️, I accidentally touched the hot water pipe while washing my hair and burned a small part of my fingers.

Arctic City Hotel is located in the prosperous city center, surrounded by many food markets and shopping malls; it is adjacent to a quiet lake; the rooms are exquisite and comfortable, clean and tidy; the beds are very comfortable to sleep on, it is worth mentioning👍 The breakfast is rich, thoughtful and has hot food , frozen food, fruits, cheese, coffee, etc.; don’t miss it!

The food in the buffet breakfast is diverse, including my favorite salmon belly and beef slices. They are all very fresh and delicious, with moderate taste, not salty, juicy, and a first-class enjoyment! The breakfast area is so spacious! It can accommodate many people to have breakfast together at the same time! The room is large enough, with enough space to open and pack two luggage at the same time!
