Overall we had a great experience with the hotel. The staff were friendly, efficient, helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our three day trip. They have everything!! The restaurant is also had a very warm and calming presence (what other hotels have candles on display during breakfast?). The room was nothing too spectacular, the decorations were nice but the size was a bit on the smaller side. Overall, you get a great location (right in the city centre and close to all the buses), great hot breakfast that will fill you up for the day, and a lovely staff. Oh, and they got this free water jar in the lobby infused with fruits, divine!

Good location in the city center. Nice to be able to walk to restaurants and relax in the hotel in between activities. About 2 blocks from the bus stop. The American style bar downstairs was great with quick service. Only negative was the shower which was so small! I believe this may just be Finland in general, not sure, but a typical obese American would not fit into this shower. I weigh 140lbs and barely had room to wash and there is no shelving to place items such as razor. Overall was a great stay though

Great little gem of a place. Convenient location, close to lots of things but not too close. Staff was great and was super helpful, I wish everyone at everyplace I go was as nice and helpful as these people. I’ll only be here for a short stay but will definitely keep this in consideration for the next trip.

Excellent location, good breakfast and friendly reception. But, rooms are small, not enough space to hang your clothes and bathroom is tiny, smelly, and water from the shower leaks everywhere. But you have a utensil to clean it up… This is not Ok for the price and not in line with the rest of the hotel. (Room 211)

We arrived well in advance of our check-in time and hardly expected to be let in. But oh, we were so wrong, fortunately! We got to our rooms at 9 am in the morning (being off-season might have helped). Staff was polite and courteous. Got all the information we wanted from the reception. Breakfast was great with quite a variety. Location can hardly get any better, bang in the middle of the city. Highly recommended.

Experience was unpleasant from the start: check-in with an invoice request took 25mins for a small group.
Rooms are small with bathroom even smaller. Furniture seems obsolete and so is sauna facilities. Not sure how this is a 4star hotel.
The only good thing is location.

Comfortable hotel with a great breakfast buffet, including smoked salmon. There is also a cozy Steakhouse that is part of the hotel.

It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel to us. The twin rooms were very small and the beds had really thin mattresses and pillows. The furniture felt flimsy. The double rooms were an adequate size, though.
The Monte Rosa restaurant was great and the receptionists were all lovely. Great buffet breakfast and gluten-free food. The location is good if you want to stay in the city centre.

Great location. Amazing breakfast options. Just a pity the sauna has schedules and it’s either for men or women. A couple cannot go together
