We have had a fantastic stay at Mecure Beaune. The staff are friendly and helpful with all requests to make our stay enjoyable and stress free as our stopover as we head to the south of France. A special mention and thank you to Jean-Francois for looking after us and sharing his insights on Beaune wines.

Excellently located, with extremely courteous staff (which is becoming a rarity), a clean and well placed hotel, with a lovely pool to cool off after a long drive. We asked for communicating rooms and it was no trouble to accommodate us. Great to have a secure car park (which also boosts fast chargers). Top job from the management and staff.

Nice and functional hotel. We have stayed here 4/5 times. I want to mention one of their restaurant staff Veronique. Veronique is fantastic, she always has a smile for her customers and she greets everybody on arrival and departures. Not easy to do breakfast and still be cheerful but Veronique can. She is great.

Confortable hôtel even if standard rooms are not very big. Clean and with all comforts, nice staff. Swimming pool outside. Car parking. Quite close to the city centre.

Close to the town centre, just five minutes walk. Closed and secure parking. Warm welcome and efficient check in, reception and bar areas are nicely decorated and pleasant. The rooms are on the small side….which we knew, but a separate toilet would have been preferable. Staying at L'Hotel de Beaune was an exceptional experience. From the moment we were greeted until the staff said au revoir, everything was perfect. The room was large and flawlessly clean. Our suite, the restaurants at the hotel, the staff, the location were all fantastic! We loved our stay and were able to walk around town without needing transportation. Everyone was so helpful and excited we were there. Just can't say enough nice things about this place and we are super picky.

At €150 a night, you will be expecting a bit more bang for your buck in terms of room size and additional extras. Great hotel, good parking and the best hotel breakfast i ve had! The only downside was that we had a room at the front of the hotel (great view), but it is right above the bar where on a (tuesday in september) people were very loud until 1am/2am.

We had a very nice time at the charming hotel La Poste. We love the classic, stylish 'vintage' ambiance of it and hope that it keeps that style after the upcoming renovation. In our modest opinion only the bathroom needs a 'face lift'. Were looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely fantastic stay here, sadly just for one night on my drive to south France but we'll definitely stay here again. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, fantastic room and good breakfast selections. I was also pleasantly surprised to see two Tesla branded electric charge points in the car park which enabled me to charge (non-tesla car) overnight for free.

Very charming good service good breakfast. Access is difficult with luggage on 3rd floor though because of tiny stair case. But if you are looking for something special then I do recommend.

What a stunning hotel - created from a 12th century abbey. The original vaulted ceiling in the reception area was nothing short of spectacular. Our junior suite room was lovely (huge opening windows were a treat) and location was perfect- just a few minutes walk to the centre of beautiful Beaune. We loved this place - what an experience to stay in such a historic building and so beautifully designed. Having cycled 30km to get there, we appreciated the welcome, warmth and hospitality of all the staff and we experienced this throughout our entire stay. We were very grateful for the bike storage - and also the pool for our tired legs!

This old abbey converted into a small hotel is top located and very beautiful on its insides and has a very cosy atmosphere in the reception and restaurant area giving you a real feeling of and old cellar with its old stone architecture. Be aware its no parking outside nor any lifts.

Should have read the reviews more thoroughly. It gets some things right and many wrong which, for the price is disappointing. Cleaning is a major issue as they don’t wash or replace glasses or replace pillows on the bed each day nor fold towels so bathroom looks a mess on your return. We stayed at this hotel few days ago and I can only recommend. Very nice hotel in the centre of Beaune with excellent breakfast. In the morning we had problem with the taxi to get to the airport, and lady at reception helped us incredibly to be at the airport on time, we were very greatful for this help. Thank you!!!

This is an old fashioned hotel situated in the centre of Beaune- very convenient. The room we had was up to date, clean and quirkily pleasant. The bed was amazingly comfortable though, being situated in the attic, with sloping walls it was difficult to get in and out of easily for me, having mobility problems. Very happy overall. Rooms were very comfortable, clean. Check in and check out was very easy. We were travelling from the south of France to the Channel ports by car and the car park is really secure (we had bikes on our car) but easy to enter/exit. Staff very unhelpful one and a half hour delay in getting our room left with the kids crying because tired without even offer of a cup of tea or water or drink. This was due to their Internet service going down and they could do nothing without it. They were thinking of moving us to other hotels rather than letting us stay in the rooms.

Nice hotel in a small old town. Rooms had been updated but did not have fridges. The air conditioning was great. Keep us cool on two hot nights. Excellent location for restaurants. Very good breakfast.

The modern website doesn't resemble the hotel quite accurately. The carpeting in the dim stairway has a very antique finish an the furniture in the public spaces has definitely seen better days. Our family room, also with carpeting, was clean with a modern bathroom. The downside: the airconditioning kept making unpleasant noises at 5 minute intervals all night 😵‍💫.

Air conditioned room which was important as it was very hot in Beaune. The room was fine - the hallways are really dark so look for the light switches. There was a nice breakfast but the roon very crowded so you may want to ask about times when there are fewer people if close quarters bother you. The only real negative was the grouchy man at the front desk. We cut him some slack on the first day...

Overnight stay with family of 4. Very helpful and friendly staff. Accommodation is clean but the decor in the room we had was a little on the tired side. Loads of family friendly restaurants near by.

Great little hotel! Perfectly located for access to the town of Beaune. The room was well cared for, clean, large king bed, separate bathroom, separate toilette. Very quiet. Also walking distance to Lidle, their version of a supermarket for all needs. I will definitely be back.

This is a very well located hotel, with a plus of the parking under control and reasonable price. Good and attentive service as well. To improve would be the indoor of the whole hotel including the rooms, ot might require a refurshisment to update to siegle XI. But still a good place to stay in Beaune

I used this hotel to break the journey en route to skiing. I paid £55 to a room which was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were helpful. Very good value for money. An excellent stay.

Good location for our one night stop (7 guys) on our way to wintersport. No dinner facilities, but the old town centre of Beaune at walking distance offers a variety of nice restaurants. Friendly and helpfull staff showed us the way.

It was a very quick stop over for 1 night. Arrived in the evening and we were welcomed by a very lovely and helpful team/staff. The bed is very comfortable and the room very clean. Our dog was very welcomed as well. The town is very cute and charming and a great stopover if you are driving through France.

The room was spacious and clean with a very good size bathroom. The breakfast was a buffet and had everything you could imagine and all fresh.

We had diner in the hotel restaurant (like many other guests). The boeuf bourguignon was excellent and so was the wine. But next time i might order 3 courses with the "Coupe du Clos de Vougeot au Sorbet cassis arrosé de Marc et Prunelle de Bourgogne Jacoulot" (as starter, main and dessert). That tasted heavenly! This is a beautiful and very well located hotel in Beaune, just a short walk across the street into the old town. The receptionist was very courteous and showed us to our room. We didn’t request parking in the underground parking, which was full for the night, but we easily found free parking across the road under the trees (be careful of bird droppings). Exceptional service. Restaurant is worth a visit. Cat park has electric chargers and secure parking (book ahead). We had our two dogs stay with us (well behaved) and they had their own welcome notes in the room. Will def return.

One of the best hotel experiences we've had, the service was excellent - from the prearrival questionnare which enabled us to specify our desired bedding, to the above-and-beyond staff member who drove us to the train station in his own car when our taxi was delayed on departure morning. Everything, absolutely, answers the highest expectations, good service, comfortable rooms, and food. Price much the quality of service. Hotel has a protected parking which is really important for those travelling by car. Comfortable mattress, for me, it's important, good quality products for bath. It's a simple road side hotel. It had everything that you expect from such a hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It's a good place to stop for a night.

The hotel is very well located for a trip to the city center. I only missed a second towel. Otherwise the price-performance ratio is very good. There is a locked parking lot.

Welcome at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful as was the welcome at breakfast by the same person. Price/quality was most satisfying. One little point : no elevator ... so for people with less mobility or a lot of luggage this is a problem.

Le Remparts Hotel is a charming gem in the heart of Beaune. We experienced nothing but a positive experience. The rooms were large and well appointed. The lobby, courtyard, dining area and small bar were great. It was so comfortable we didn't want to leave! This is a great hotel for the money and their service was top notice.

This place is fantastic! The hotel is so charming and feels very French. The beds are so comfortable and there were unique touches of Beaune everywhere (especially the little wine keychain for the room key). I loved it! I would love to go back.

Amazing location! Amazing friendly staff. Charlotte booked me a manicure appointment in the busy season and Arnault helped us with ALL our restaurant reservations and advice. Well appointed hotel. Good room. Excellent, friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location very close to lovely shops and many restaurants. Plenty of street parking round and about (at reasonable pricing if paying, free on public holidays and free in the ‘main road’ two minutes walk away).

Beaune hotel was excellent. Reception and restaurant staff could not have been more helpful. It was comfortable, close to the town centre but quiet. I particularly appreciated the covered private parking area. Breakfast too was fresh with plenty of choice. I would not hesitate to choose the hotel for future visits.

This beyond an exceptional hotel. The staff made you feel like family. The owner helped us with renting a bicycle telling us about the mustard factory, which is one of the best in the world. It is close to the hotel. Good beds, excellent breakfast beautiful courtyard and close to many good restaurants. We plan to come back and when we do you know where we will stay.

This is a lovely hotel. A warm and professional welcome awaits. The room was comfy and clean and perfect for our needs. The parking was particularly useful, onsite, secure and with easy access to the rooms. We would recommend the breakfast too, served in the conservatory with a smile!

Overpriced breakfast. Room wasn't well ventilated and smelled a bit funky. Good thing we could open a window as the aircon smelled very mouldy. Perhaps the upstairs rooms are better. But smack in the centre of town right next to the main attraction. And the service is good.

There are dog friendly hotels and there are dog friendly hotels, and this is the latter! A luxury hotel for you and your pooch and an ideal stop off on the way to or back from the South of France. Beaune is a stunning French town and this beautiful hotel is perfectly situated to explore all that Beaune has to offer.

It breaks my heart to give this hotel 4 stars. The service staff was amazing but the hotel rooms are so run down! Our room didn’t look anything like the pics posted by the hotel. The shower tub was clogged and did not drain well. The AC was not functional. The lobby area was interesting. The hotel had a beautiful courtyard and secure parking area.

We just walk in from the street. Perfect place for an amazing cocktail. Ask for Michael the main bartender. He makes ouer time at the main bar so enjoyable.

The two twin rooms we were allocated were pretty tired looking compared to some of the other rooms advertised on the web site which was a bit of a shame, but the beds were comfy and the bathroom very well appointed. The staff were very welcoming and helped us book restaurants and a wine tasting/tour. The hotel bar is well stocked and we enjoyed a nightcap in the lounge. I'd happily stay here again

I have mixed thoughts about our stay here. The staff were accommodating and helpful on arrival - holding our bags and trying to have the room ready early as we had travelled far. It isn't a terrible place, but it's all the little things that added up. We paid around 700 Euro for a room to fit our family of 4 with one child on a day-bed and one on a sofa-bed. Great hotel. Much better than the reviews indicate. Maybe the reviews are from before the redecorating of the rooms. Spent only a night here but loved the hotel. Cheap, central and easy to park at the hotel or on the big parking lot next to. Breakfast was typical for French hotels. Mostly bread.

I do not know how about other rooms, mine was a bit smelly and the window was in 3 feet from a wall and you can't see anything. AC remote cover was screwed for us not to open, so one would not be able to change the flaps angle or other settings. The batteries are dying. The bed is clean, and same for the toilet. Stayed here for 4 nights in November. Very good location and friendly staff. Claude and Claude were very hospitable, spoke perfect English (very helpful) and had great suggestions for area restaurants. Rooms were simple and small but clean, decent breakfast in the morning for 10 additional Euros person Plenty of parking. Good value overall.

Have stayed twice here, on our way to south of france and again going home. Very good value for money. Clean, comfortable and great breakfast, well organised. Central with lots of local eating places. Secure car park.

Great stay on our way to our skiing holiday. Also worked there for a couple of hours, which was perfectly doable. There is a carrefour closeby, but the dishes the restaurant served looked quite good as well.

I stop here regularly and normally it’s fine, but when there is a large coach group there is not enough staff. All the tables were dirty and full of used breakfast items.. the rooms can’t be faulted however, nice and quiet with very comfortable beds👍
