Everything perfect. The check-in is great, the rooms are clean and bright and it's centrally located in a pedestrian area. The room is equipped with a safe and airconditioning.

Excellent location, small room for price (even in event nights) needs a little adaptation to the modern way of life. Couldn't book thru Booking even though there where vacancies. Ild style hotel.

Threatened to call police then threw us out!
Our room wasn’t available when we returned during our second night due to a leak from the air conditioner being repaired. We were told we could still access the room, but this wasn’t actually possible because the entrance was blocked by workers and equipment. The manager told us the work would be done in an hour and offered 50 Euro for compensation, but after returning later the room still was not accessible. The manager now tells us that we said the room would be available in an hour, not him! A request for another room was denied. The manager was now vague about when we’d actually be able to get back into our room. Our displeasure and complaint was met with a threat by him to call the police???!!! The manager then threw us out. A refund was made (he threw the cash at us), but tried to short change us.

Nicest and most helpful people at front desk. A hotel with character and so damn close to restaurants, old city, historical basilicas and Roman ruins, and of course the River and the shopping quarters. Reasonable rates for comfortable rooms and updated bathrooms!

Excellent 3 star hotel in a great location close to the main square in Lyon (Place Bellecour). Friendly staff (the young man) made checking in very easy. The room was very spacious, with a decent size bathroom. It featured a large TV, fridge and an excellent aircon unit to keep you cool. The decor is an older style but charming in its own way, and clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend highly for it's location on Presqu'île, the friendly professional staff, and the room standard.

Everything stinks! Bedsheets, toilet, bathroom. :(
Bad cleaning of the room too.
I took a pillow from the wardrobe and it stinked like a dead body!
The bedsheets need to be dried properly and the pillows replaced when they get old!

I am not going to deduct any star. However, the half panel on bathtubs splashes water on the floor when using shower. I would prefer a fridge to cool water. Other than that, I love the hotel, spacious room, tall ceiling, friendly staff and great location at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Nice location, nice staff, clean place. No shower curtain or shower door, so that was unusual for us to have to be very careful while showering, then to clean up water all over the floor.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff. It has been renovated and is near metro and all attractions. The rooms are nothing extraordinary but very convenient for the price. There is construction on Victor Hugo, but not the owner's fault! Internet was down for a day, but they did their best to fix it. Breakfast is not special but is worth it if you want to eat before leaving.

Hotel was nicely located near the city center. It was clean and we'll maintained. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok. Safe in room.
