Hotels with pool in Lyon

The location is fantastic on top of a hill overlooking Lyon. Staff are very courteous and professional, but hotel needs to be updated. Specially the pool and spa area. The tiles of the pool were literally chipped off

Great: Staff, view, wellness area. Room is rather small for the price. You should be in decent shape as the hill is quite steep or you’ll have to Uber every time you want to go out.

It's up the large hill with the cathedral and the tip-of-the-Eiffel tower, which means that to get into the main part of the city you either hike down (or God forbid up) a long and very steep hill, or get used to taking the funicular

Bathrooms have separate small rooms for shower and WC - a definite plus - and although there is the ubiquitous window between the bathroom area and the main space there is an actual blind that can be closed

It's fine, and there is a nice view over the city at night, but it's not a heart-of-the-city leave the hotel and walkabout kind of place if that's what you're looking for

Rooms are as you would expect at a place like this, although I found there to be a little lack of drawer/storage space to unpack for a few days

The hotel is FANTASTIC if you are coming to Lyon. Everyone is super helpful and friendly especially Gloria! I am a 70 year old person who was traveling by herself and I felt very safe and well taken care of

It has a good bar at the reception area

Although it was a short stay, I was pleased with the comfortable, spacious room assigned. I was also given instructions to use the bus system and a map of where to visit Lyon. The breakfast was OK, as well

Considering I was in a 9th floor suite, this was rather unacceptable. Since I only stayed one night, I did not complain about it. It is worth mentioning that said shower was also a bit of a death trap

We were driving from Germany to Spain, and this was a great mid point. The hotel has a great location, near a train and tram station. Good restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is clean and spacious

Only downside this time around: the shower needs to be fixed, as both showerheads were operating at once (one wouldn't stop dripping overhead, which was rather unpleasant)

2 blocks from the farmers market and tons of shopping and restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lyon. Our room had a beautiful view of the basilica

The room was clean, and the large windows opened to get fresh air and the sounds of the city. With the windows closed the noise level was not offensive at all if you ever heard anything

Conveniently located near the TGV station of Perrache. Near the Metro and Tram lines. Quality is above of what is expected from a budget hotel. It has basic AC in the rooms although it will fell slightly warm on hot days

Staff is friendly and willing to help all the time. Items like iron and hair dryer are available at the desk upon request. It is next to the river and a major road but no noise inside

You can't beat the price/quality ratio! But the room was very small. If you're not interested in spending a lot of time in the room, this place is fantastic! Great location, clean and quiet ?

On the other hand, the room was pretty small, the sink very low and the AC was very loud when put in max volume. Also, the matress was weird and uncomfortable on one side of the bed

The stuff was very friendly, especially the blue-eyed boy at the reception who checked us in! The cleanliness of the room was okay (not too bad, not too good either)

Great location near train, bus and tram stations. We had a great view of the river from our window

I was surprised how small our room was - the front desk employee did offer to move us to a larger room, but we would've had to wait 1-2 days and we decided to stay in our room since we'd already started to unpack and didn't have the energy to move everything

I had a room on the top floor, it had every facility I required, including the essential coffee making tools. All the staff were especially friendly and attentive to our needs

A double bed and a fold out sofa bed for the children. The bathroom was very spacious with a shower and bath. Facilities in the room included a well functioning coffee pod machine

An iron and ironing board were promptly provided after asking. The hotel would have to be one of the best located in all of Lyon! Centrally located to many a top eating spot

Central to many of Lyon's best shopping areas also. The main Lyon Tourism office is also just a short 10-15min walk away (best place to pick up the Lyon City Card)

I was very happy with the value for the money paid. Comfortable bed and large bathroom (not often that this happens in Europe). Small fridge in room with nearby grocery stores if you don’t want to eat out 3 meals/day

Beautiful building. Gorgeous rooms, if not a little dark. Lovely indoor pool, but only really big enough for one person, or a couple to swim.

We loved our room and loved all the attention and service. The whole experience was out of this world and when we return to Lyon, we will be staying at Cour des Loges

I'm just sorry that I did not get the chance to use their spa and exercise room. Both me and my wife can't wait to return to Lyon and stay at this marvelous place

Beautiful building, very unique and sexy rooms (albeit some may think they're slightly claustrophobic and in need of refreshing), great service, and the best location. Really, the location simply can't be beat

The downside is that many of the rooms badly need renovation, especially since some don't have a shower (!!!) and the spa could use some renovation as well. I was told that Raddison is going to renovate soon

I'd be interested in staying again, but only after that happens, only if the room has a shower, and only if the price is comparable to a 4-star hotel, as that's what this hotel actually should be called

I was doing my laundry and was short of one token (4 euros) and one of the staffs gave me one free. We stayed there during winter and the room was really cozy and warm. Some complain about the apt but I don't get it

Reception is very helpful! They even asked a neighboring restaurant to open a bottle of wine for us! Hotel is not fancy or upgraded but the location is very convenient and the room was clean and air conditioned.

Everything is clean, but keep in mind it's a 2 star hotel, so rooms are small and very basic. Make sure when booking of whether room has aircon or not when booking as rooms without a/c are very hot in summer

There is no lift, so it's not a good idea to book here if you have heavy bags. For a day traveller travelling light, it's fine

Onsite Italian restaurant is overpriced. Breakfast buffet is good with lots of selections. There are several nearby restaurants, but their operating times could be limited and food is mediocre

Hotel is ideally located for exploring the city. Concierge was a great source of knowledge and advice on what to see and do. Staff overall were so helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained

We stayed for one week 3 rooms and we loved the location, staff and the breakfast. Valentine at the concierge was superb, with all suggestions in what to do and ready to help

we were able to get into our room a little bit earlier than the check-in of 4 PM which was much appreciated. Our room had a spectacular view of the Rhone

However, it could have used a few more outlets, and the shower tub combination was not great as the tub was quite high to have to step into
