Location : park next to hotel is great I had dinner, presentation was fabulous, but fish was not fresh to my standards. Worthwhile staying for exploring the park to enjoy. TV should upgrade to phone connection

Can see hotel is old but they tried to maintain it

Beware that parking is €17 per day, and the free WiFi does not allow streaming services (another €20) if you want that

Service:very slow for a lot of things

Finally, a knock on the door and the maid said they are leaving in 10 minutes if we are not ready to leave. I asked for 1 minute to gather our things. When we came back our room was cleaned but without any clean towels

In a rush, we left the wet towels on the racks so they were not replaced. Since that first day, we decided to contact the front desk to request housekeeping when we step out each morning

It’s made clear that if you don’t book the spa access the pools are not included so there should be no surprises on that

It has an Olympic sized outdoor pool. Very good rooms and bathrooms. WiFi is not working in the rooms only downstairs I don’t know why. There is a nice hairdresser inside the hotel

Service wasn’t terrible but expected better for what we paid. Men, to use the pool you MUST have speedos on (or shorts with the same length and tightness) and board shorts (what I wore) aren’t allowed

Great place with comfortable rooms and amazing pools. Was the perfect stop over on the way to the South of France

I liked the hotel and the staff were nice. I just could never understand how a hotel's pool needs extra payment. Location is ok as it is close to a bus stop, however, pretty far from the centre

My toddler loved the pool and they had a baby pool area. I always love a gym so that was a plus There was free babysitting service. Negatives: Not much info was given at reception of where things are

It's the second time I went to this hotel, and i am quite happy with my stay. Location is great, there is a lot of outdoor restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the restaurant is nice and quite a lot of choices

Me and my family was there for the second time and we was again impressive from the service from there rooms and from the breakfast the Employees are very kind. From my side a highly recommend

The staff were amazing especially Valerie on reception, she was very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for trains, trams to go and explore the city. Breakfast was excellent and again staff very friendly

Nice hotel. It's not a new hotel, but it's all very tidy. Good staff. Breakfast is delicious. The location is convenient with a supermarket nearby. At my husband's request, the room was decorated for my birthday.

We mentioned it was our honeymoon, and the staff went above and beyond — they decorated the bed with rose petals, added a heart-shaped balloon, and even offered us a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our honeymoon. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The prices were reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious with a nice variety

Beautiful building. Gorgeous rooms, if not a little dark. Lovely indoor pool, but only really big enough for one person, or a couple to swim.

We loved our room and loved all the attention and service. The whole experience was out of this world and when we return to Lyon, we will be staying at Cour des Loges

I'm just sorry that I did not get the chance to use their spa and exercise room. Both me and my wife can't wait to return to Lyon and stay at this marvelous place

Beautiful building, very unique and sexy rooms (albeit some may think they're slightly claustrophobic and in need of refreshing), great service, and the best location. Really, the location simply can't be beat

The downside is that many of the rooms badly need renovation, especially since some don't have a shower (!!!) and the spa could use some renovation as well. I was told that Raddison is going to renovate soon

I'd be interested in staying again, but only after that happens, only if the room has a shower, and only if the price is comparable to a 4-star hotel, as that's what this hotel actually should be called

It was a pleasant stay. Awesome for a family. Rooms are large. One bedroom can accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms which made showering efficient.

The hotel is in a prime location, right next to Lyon Train Station, a 2-minute walk from the station. The hotel rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, clean and hygienic. The front desk service is enthusiastic

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old town

This was our second stay at the Mercure. It’s super convenient because it’s basically at the main train station. Catching the metro or a train is super easy. Basic with the toilet separate from the shower

The location is excellent being essentially at the centre of Lyon transport- the Rhinexpress tram from the airport stops about 50m from the hotel, and the Part Dieu SNCF station is next door

Convenient location just next to the train station. Helpful staff Spacious room Air conditioning is good in summer But the complimentary tea bags expired on the day we checked in

The service from the reception staff was second to none. They are very friendly and polite. The double room was of a good size and clean. I want to mention that the housekeeping team were really efficient too

The hotel is in a great location with buses, trams and the train station close by so it's easy to get around. I also felt very safe walking around as a solo female traveller

Small but clean rooms, worth it for the price we paid also the beds were really comfortable 🥰 The hotel was more like on a place out of the beautiful part out of the city

High-cost performance hotel, and reasonable price was good for us. A clean room and highly functional room was a better place that attract tourists.

Our 3 ppl room is very small, need to manoeuvre luggages to open up the luggage. Despite its size, room is very clean and bed is comfortable. it’s got every we need for the night

The location is fantastic on top of a hill overlooking Lyon. Staff are very courteous and professional, but hotel needs to be updated. Specially the pool and spa area. The tiles of the pool were literally chipped off

We enjoyed four beautiful nights in this elegant, beautiful hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and well appointed, particularly the bathrooms. Service was personal, friendly, nothing was ever a problem

The views of the old town are fantastic, but be prepared for the walk, Uber or scooter ride up and down the hill each day if you’re planning to stay here to explore Lyon over several days

Room has a nice view to the garden, but it does not feel luxurious. I am not sure about five star , this hotel is at best 3 or 4 star. Housekeeping is definitely an issue too

Great: Staff, view, wellness area. Room is rather small for the price. You should be in decent shape as the hill is quite steep or you’ll have to Uber every time you want to go out.

Had an excellent massage from Jeanne. Perfectly relaxing and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Everyone was amazing. The front desk was super helpful. They made dinner reservations for us, checked us in quickly and friendly. Cleaners and breakfast service also amazing. Door man super helpful too. Great stay!

Wonderful hotel in the midst of the Presqu'ile. The location is great with so many places nearby of note for shopping, sightseeing, and eating. I want to give special thanks to Belen who was so friendly and inviting

The advanced online check-in and my room being ready early, allowed me to settle in for a restful night before our flight home. The comfortable room and delicious breakfast was much appreciated

The hotel was lovely. The staff was wonderful. The bartender, Silvan, was the best person we met in France. The location was perfect. The hotel room was clean and full of charm, and had a wonderful view.

My room on the 7th floor was very nice, good size and well decorated room with a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of products. The hotel is calm and yet close to the heart of the city

The location is perfect for walking - everything you want to get to is about a 15 minute walk, which can help with settling your stomach after a nice dinner at Monsieur P or a bouchon

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while touring Lyon. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite room with a balcony that overlooked the river and Notre Dame

We enjoyed refuge on the balcony during afternoon rains and the ample space to spread out and repack. The staff was very sweet and accommodating

A nice Best Western Hotel located on a secondary street close to the Rhone and the Wilson bridge. The receptionists are very hospitable

Bom hotel, quarto bem simples mas tinha um bom espaço e era confortável. Banheiro espaçoso também com um ótimo chuveiro. O local é movimentado de noite, então pode ter um pouco de barulho, mas não nos incomodou

A localização é boa, a pé você consegue conhecer bastante coisa. Estacionamento pago à parte, nessa ocasião conseguimos parar o carro na rua, porém é zona paga, então fique atento para os horários

Não sei se o café é bom, acabamos tomando nas cafeterias na região pois o preço é bem menor. Como dica, gostei bem mais desse hotel do que o localizado logo à frente (L'academie, mesmo dono)

It was great stay, location clean but no refrigerator in the room. Even though the area is busy, the room was quiet. Simple room and good service as well.

The room and the bathroom were clean, the mattress and pillow very good, I slept excellently I checked in at the machine at the entrance quickly and safely. I didn't pay for breakfast and I did well

Eggs, toast, frozen pastry, some jams. The only thing that disgusted me were some white spots on the carpet in the hallway on the second floor and a stale and dirty air

I stayed at B&B HOTEL Lyon Center Monplaisir in October 2024. The hotel is located close to the center and the bus and metro stations

Nearby there are supermarkets, cafes, boulangeries and bistros, cheese, vegetable, fruit, chocolate shops

in the hope that the problem will be solved, I would stay at this hotel again

Because there is not even space to open a suitcase. Obviously the towels etc were clean but there were hairs stuck on the sheets and pillows. Room service should have checked these. I slept with a T-shirt over my pillow

The location couldn't be better. Walking distance to everything. , Bellacour, shopping district etc. The hotel is obviously an old hotel. The bathrooms are renovated and clean but the rest of the rooms are old

I love this hotel! Just got back from having a fabulous three night stay there. I upgraded to the magnolia suite and was so happy I did. Amazing views of the city right in the center of where you want to be

We stayed one night and everything was good! Bathroom was clean, bed was good and close to the centre. The only difficulty we had was that we could not find the exit and the entrance of the parking garage

Very kind and proactive people to solve any problem. Air conditioning was not running in our room and we were changed in 10 minutes to other room. Hotel well connect with public transport (very useful to visit all city).

The hotel is nice and clean, pretty close to the centre of Lyon. It's about 15/20 minutes walking and there is a metro really close. We would say that this hotel is good for short stays

My room was decent and big enough, staff polite and helpful. The position is very good as it's very close to Garibaldi underground station and within walking distance from the centre

The place is nice, clean and well organized. The position is good, thanks to the presence of a Metro station just a minute walk far away from the hotel.

But when we asked the hotel employee, he showed us the was. It took us almost 30minutes to find the exit after parking the car

I can only recommend, I will add one small minus, the room I occupied (single for one person) was small but good enough to spend only nights. Good luck to the entire hotel team during their difficult times

I was surprised how small our room was - the front desk employee did offer to move us to a larger room, but we would've had to wait 1-2 days and we decided to stay in our room since we'd already started to unpack and didn't have the energy to move everything

The rooms are small and not exactly luxuriuos, but perfect for a few nights of budget stay and it has the best location if you don't have much time but want to discover the old town on foot

Super friendly staff at the reception, very clean-quiet rooms. Good access to public transportation. The only negative point was about the breakfast: very limited options, and you could find them empty and not recharged.

The only reception ladies and gentlemen with their positive and helpful attitude made our stay not that miserable. Location actually is good , just right next to the mall and enjoyable walk to any parts of the town

Our room had the sofa configured as a bed for our toddler. Nice continental breakfast was included in our rate. Walkable to a lovely food market and several very enjoyable restaurants, plus a massive shopping mall

Great hotel, alot of construction in the area and hard to get to it. We arrived 8:30 pm and no where in this area to find dinner as everything closes early. Had to settle for a boring sandwich at the front desk

Music till 2 AM wasn’t helping to rest either. Smell from the bathroom was a cherry on top of the cake. Not talking about water pressure in the shower - felt like you can count each drop it is giving

Good that it was only one night! Freezing cold in the room , although the girl from reception was very helpful and brought us heater ( but unfortunately it is super small and didn’t help anyhow)

Hotel is ideally located for exploring the city. Concierge was a great source of knowledge and advice on what to see and do. Staff overall were so helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained

We stayed for one week 3 rooms and we loved the location, staff and the breakfast. Valentine at the concierge was superb, with all suggestions in what to do and ready to help

we were able to get into our room a little bit earlier than the check-in of 4 PM which was much appreciated. Our room had a spectacular view of the Rhone

However, it could have used a few more outlets, and the shower tub combination was not great as the tub was quite high to have to step into
