The staff are all very nice. The facilities are old but for a European hotel, they are well equipped. Water pressure is also sufficient. The Perrier, juice and snacks in the room fridge are free. Villa Florentine was nice but not as upscale as some of the other Relais & Chateau properties I have stayed at. The room service breakfast was not very good and overpriced. The hotel is right across from Lyon Perrache station, which was very convenient. Walking to the city centre needs passing an area with homeless tents, so it felt a bit sketchy. The amenities were Clarins products, there was a separate toilet, very large room, the reception was offering coffee, herbal water and coated almonds 😍 the staff were very professional and helpful! The view from the room was very beautiful. We booked two different room types, one with a red theme and one with a blue theme. They were both gorgeous. The bathroom was large and the breakfast was delicious.

The location is OK, next to the transportation hub of Perrache. It takes about five minutes from getting off the subway to walking into the hotel. The staff are the real stars here. Front desk staff always smiling, professional and welcoming. Staff at breakfast friendly and the maintenance man who seemed to be busy was also happy and smiling. Th rooms are very quiet, beds comfy, close to tram, restaurants and nice little pool that was perfect to cool down in at the end of a long day.

Nice location outside the busy centre. Walking distance to the mall and river. Receptionist were very helpful. And the pool area was clean. Nice hotel woukd stay again.

Made me pay €2 to rent a towel for the pool but didn’t inform me that the pool was closed

Awesome hotel. Air conditioning worked well which was needed with the heat in June. We had a balcony room and it was absolutely stunning. Free snacks and drinks a real bonus. Late check out was great! Bed was super comfortable and the linen was nice. Staff were lovely. Fantastic location. 10/10

No ac so had to keep windows open but it is a very busy noisy street so difficult to sleep easily if room is on the Main Street. Perhaps a fan ? We loved the Time Machine quality of the room which was unique and fun and yet still fully comfortable and clean. The room is relatively small and decorated in an antique style. You need to climb one floor to get to the lobby, and there is no elevator. Breakfast is 20 euros per person. There is a small refrigerator in the room. The biggest problem is that there is no parking space. Parking in the nearby underground garage costs about 25 yuan a day.

The location is great, in the heart of downtown Lyon, surrounded by lively places, very close to all attractions, within walking distance. The room facilities are good, the bed is very comfortable. The hygiene is good! The service is warm and meticulous. The hotel's breakfast is great and of high quality, and it is equipped with a freshly squeezed orange juice machine!

Carpet is smelly, the showerhead is too low (around 1m, designed only for children?) and not able to adjust the height. A staff opened my door in the morning without knocking at the door. Dont come.
