Breakfast was revolting. Eggs and bacon undercooked is only good for salmonella. The staff also weren't very helpful. When we tried to buy water from the vending machine , it didn't work and the girl at the reception just gave us a look like : it is what it is. The system with the codes to enter everything is also very confusing. Only use this place as a last resort. Luckely we were just passing through. There are much better options in Lyon. Beautiful city btw

Midnight express. The manager Vanessa denied to speak to me in English. They charged me for two rooms instead of one. After a lot of messages, they admitted their mistake and told me that their system did not work very well.... Their pluming was making every evening an extremely annoying noise, a suspicious man responsible for the cleaning was asking us questions regarding our room. I believe he just wanted to find out when we would leave our room. They could not provide to us any kind of service....

I stayed at B&B HOTEL Lyon Center Monplaisir in October 2024.
The hotel is located close to the center and the bus and metro stations.
Nearby there are supermarkets, cafes, boulangeries and bistros, cheese, vegetable, fruit, chocolate shops.
The room and the bathroom were clean, the mattress and pillow very good, I slept excellently
I checked in at the machine at the entrance quickly and safely.
I didn't pay for breakfast and I did well. He was very poor. Eggs, toast, frozen pastry, some jams.
The only thing that disgusted me were some white spots on the carpet in the hallway on the second floor and a stale and dirty air.
in the hope that the problem will be solved, I would stay at this hotel again.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to do a good research before doing the reservation in that hotel because of the unexpected changes of my programme.
The room was extremely simple, without bed cover, not enough clean, like an empty room. The price I paid was too high for its poor quality. I decided find another hotel for the next night instead of staying at the same place which turned out to a very good decision as I was in a better quality place with much better price.

You get what you pay for. It’s a cheap hotel with very uncomfortable beds, poor water pressure in the showers and mediocre breakfast. The room was clean enough, though we could clearly hear every word our neighbours said to each other. The parkade seemed secure but was very dirty. Overall, if you can afford to stay somewhere else, I recommend you do so.
