The check-in went smoothly until the receptionist told us that we had requested a non-AC room (with the AC to be disconnected during our stay), supposedly based on a note from Trip.com. I told the receptionist that I definitely did not make such a request—especially not in the middle of summer—and asked to see the note from Trip.com. They couldn’t show me the note and instead claimed that, since I...
Beautiful architecture. Great location.
Great hotel. Room good size and clean. Location is perfect. Short walk to everywhere!
The breakfast was very great. The location is ok and they have their own parking area. However there are stairs in my room so I had to carry my luggage up to my space.
Beautiful hotel wonderful breakfast.
I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we encountered a few not very friendly staff at the reception. They didn’t do anything in particular that we would consider rude - but they just had a cold attitude. Some of their staff seem to have treated other guests a little differently for instance walking them to the lift and giving them more information about the hotel. This...

This was one of the most lovely hotels I have stayed in. From the service at the front desk where you were greeted like family, to the lovely gentleman who helped us with our bags. Our room was so lovely. The history inside the hotel is so interesting. I will forever have fond memories of our stay in Lyon.
Stunning recent renovation of apartment block into hotel. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us with information and guidance. A real gem situated in the old town. We will be back!!!
An absolute gem of a hotel - stunning design and the most incredibly welcoming and attentive staff in an incredible location.
In one word—Exceptional! From the moment we arrived till our departure our experience was exceptional. This includes the restaurants. The staff we so helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty. We would stay here again without hesitation and we so look forward to it.
Excellent hotel with a beautiful and enchanting building, a perfect location, and outstanding services. Nothing more to add, just live the experience.
Hands down the best hotel we have stayed in. Everything was exceptional, from the gorgeous location to the Renaissance architecture to the large, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. We were prepared for subpar air conditioning, but even that exceeded expectations. Most of all, though, it was the staff and their superior service and attention to detail that would make me recommend this truly...

This is a wonderful 5 star hotel located on the escarpement overlooking Lyon including the Rhone and Saone rivers. The location is walking distance to the roman Ampethreatre and the famous Basilica. Dining in the hotel was great and across the street in the...
Beautiful modern hotel with an Art Deco style confortable rooms, nice spa and gym, very professional staff and a wonderful view on Lyon city and alps chain when weather is clear. Highly recommended
A cocoon of a hotel, with magnificent views (if you're lucky to get a room with them, as we did, with an upgrade) across the city to the Alps. We loved the marble and chrome bathroom, the very comfortable bed, the impeccable service from all the staff, and the incredible 20m pool, perfect for doing laps while looking out over the garden. The hotel is up high, within walking distance of the basilica...
Just spent 5 glorious days at the Villa Maïa in Lyon, and we could not have had a better time! The property is beautiful- situated on a hill overlooking the city with sweeping panoramic views of the Rhône and Old Lyon. What makes this hotel truly exceptional is not just the gorgeous architecture, modern furnishings, or superb spa and pool facilities… it is the staff! A big shout out to Raphael...
What a beautiful private place in Lyon. The team was professional friendly and genuinely dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable stay. Couldn't say enough good things about this place. The Spa and Pool Area is beautiful and very clean. Room was quiet with wonderful balconies with view of the city. We will definitely be back
We could not have been happier with our stay at the Villa Maïa. We appreciated the understated modern decor with comfortable furniture in the quiet common areas. Bar service very friendly, excellent fitness room and beautiful 20 m lap pool with jacuzzi. Front desk staff excellent and helpful as was the concierge service provided by Fancois and Julian. The hotel is a little tired but enjoyed our stay
I had an amazing stay at the hotel. I haven't seen this level of professionalism and kindness from staff at many other prestigious hotels. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was excellent, and the service from the staff especially the receptionists, Anna and the other lovely ladies was extraordinary 👍🏼👍🏼
The staff are all very nice. The facilities are old but for a European hotel, they are well equipped. Water pressure is also sufficient. The Perrier, juice and snacks in the room fridge are free. What a nice service. Overall, it's well worth the price. I think it's a great value for money that you wouldn't find in a Paris hotel. Thank you very much😊
Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about the room or the hygiene. The underground parking with valet service is handy (at a correct price). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was the fact that despite an earlier email and the extra specific on the day of our arrival in advance by telephone that we requested a room with 2 beds, this was not taken into account when we arrived...
Staff always very friendly and attentive. Nice view from the room. Perfect breakfast also enhanced by a superb panoramic view. The only point of improvement concerns the room which would deserve a little refreshment (modernity)
The location is good and the service is pretty good. It is just that it is quite old, and even if it is well maintained, it still has traces of history.

Super nice hotel in a great location, but with a tacky rococo fake style. Breakfast room super nice with various food items. Healthy options missing (not catering for the Germans!)
Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lyon. From check-in to check-out almost everything was perfect. The only three things I would improve are: 1) the hotel bar didn't have stools 2) the Nespresso Machines didn't have single serve coffee-mate creamers or at least powder so you had to call down for cold milk for 5€. 3) like many hotels in Europe they didn't have wash cloths in the room (face cloths...

Wonderful hotel in the central square of Lyon. Almost all the sights can be reached on foot. Friendly staff. Good soundproofing. Comfortable beds. In the photo the view from the room.
The room is spacious, close to the subway station, and the lobby is decorated with unique features
The view from the room was very beautiful. We booked two different room types, one with a red theme and one with a blue theme. They were both gorgeous. The bathroom was large and the breakfast was delicious.
The service attitude is good, and the location is good, but the facilities in the hotel room are too old. The TV automatically turns off after turning it on. I called the service staff, and after watching it for two minutes and leaving, it automatically turns off again. The cabinet under the TV, the door on the left falls down when the door is opened. Quick 3 nights Amazing stay. Everything was great, but the service made the stay exceptional.
Villa Florentine was nice but not as upscale as some of the other Relais & Chateau properties I have stayed at. The room service breakfast was not very good and overpriced. The layout of the suite was difficult with the bed upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.
Incredible hotel ! We are experienced travelers and this is in the top 10 of hotels we have stayed at and the value is incredible for the luxurious hotel !
Beautiful hotel on top of hill over looking Lyon. Great amenities in the hotel and breakfast was excellent. We were nicely greeted by staff and staff was extremely helpful friendly and accommodating during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room is very big and there is a park nearby, very comfortable
Good hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with good shower and bathroom. Gym was ok, but bar seemed closed for much of trip and surrounding area lacked an equivalent once back from the city (which was only 15 mins by bus away so was not a big issue).
The cleanliness was not satisfactory — I found dirty shoe prints and someone else’s hair in the bathtub. I reported the issue to the front desk and requested a room change, but they told me there were no available rooms that night and asked me to handle it myself. The location is average, not very close to the city center. The positive side is that the hotel is very quiet, the bed is comfortable...
Service:very slow for a lot of things. Attitude is good but you need to wait very very long time to solve an issue, to Check in, because I think it’s simply under staff? Room is ok and big and view is good, however, rather strong smelt of detergent or deodorant. Location : park next to hotel is great I had dinner, presentation was fabulous, but fish was not fresh to my standards. Worthwhile staying...
It is just next to the Lyon Congress Centre, but a distance from the old town. Not much eatery around the neighbourhood, but the public transport is just a stone throw away from the hotel. The welcome is always warm and professional. The rooms are very nice — not ultra-luxurious, but definitely comfortable and pleasant. What truly sets this hotel apart is the amazing spa with diverse facilities, and the huge outdoor pool, which is a real luxury in the center of Lyon, especially in summer when there are few alternatives in the city. One point to note: the requirement for men to wear...
I know this hotel well, staying regularly every year in their studios, which are impeccable, but I'd like to draw attention to two significant flaws: 1/ Weak Wi-Fi: Their Wi-Fi has been poor for years, and nothing has been done to improve it. 2/ The restaurant is closed on Sundays: an absurdity in a 4-star hotel!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Birthday Stay! My wife, my cat, and I stayed at Hôtel Lyon Métropole for my birthday and loved it. The hotel decorated our room beautifully, and it looked even better than the photos online. Staff were very friendly and helped us park when the garage was full. The sauna and pool area was super clean and relaxing. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Lyon!
My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel for one night. The experience was very nice. Everything was clean and we felt welcome. We loved the spa area, especially the outdoor pool and saunas, only the hot tub was quite cold. I also appreciate that there is a women only section. What was very unfortunate though is that there were not really vegan options for breakfast. It was very hard to find something...
Price not alligned with services provided and not clearily indicated that the pool is available as an extra
We did enjoy our stay here. Mainly because it was a heatwave in Lyon and spending two nights here beats being in our hot apartment with no AC. Though they could do with some improvements. Positives: Rooms were cool but not cold and very spacious. My toddler loved the pool and they had a baby pool area. I always love a gym so that was a plus There was free babysitting service. Negatives: Not much...

Great view from the window . And there are games on the ground floor for people to play when it rains , I’ll still stay here next time I come to Lyon
The staff were amazing especially Valerie on reception, she was very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for trains, trams to go and explore the city. Breakfast was excellent and again staff very friendly. Would recommend
Welcoming front desk and quick to check in. The room we stayed in did let the rating down though and so I wouldn't say this was a four star hotel unfortunately. A separate toilet in what could only be described as a cupboard was barely big enough for a grown man. The coffee making facilities were very basic too.
An excellent experience during our stay - our room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the tea and coffee provided in the room. The breakfast was excellent, very varied, and good quality. The hotel is in a convenient location, we were able to walk almost everywhere during our stay in Lyon.

Convenient location just next to the train station. Helpful staff Spacious room Air conditioning is good in summer But the complimentary tea bags expired on the day we checked in
Good sized room and lovely bathroom. The location near the station was really good so easy to get to the old town by metro. Only point off was the air-conditioning. Even at full blast set at lowest level it has limited affect.
It was a pleasant stay. Awesome for a family. Rooms are large. One bedroom can accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms which made showering efficient.
We stayed for 6 nights. The location is excellent being essentially at the centre of Lyon transport- the Rhinexpress tram from the airport stops about 50m from the hotel, and the Part Dieu SNCF station is next door. Trams are outside and on the other side of the SNCF station, and the metro is there as well. There is a huge Westfield shopping centre beside the SNCF. The rooms were excellent, except...

The location of the hotel is super good, right on the pedestrian street. What's especially considerate is that the two rooms are arranged together with a door in the middle, which is very good! But the price is parking! Let's not talk about parking in big European cities, that's not the hotel's problem.
The French room is as small as usual. There are mosquitoes in the room. Everything else is good. The breakfast is quite rich. The location is good. You can reach any attraction in half an hour on foot.
Very well located. Very friendly service. Good breakfast. Small step at the entrance that may make it difficult to enter if you are in a wheelchair.
The hotel is very clean and beautiful, with a small refrigerator, and the location is also very good, right next to the shopping street, recommended

For the price, this hotel is fantastic. Everyone who works there is really helpful, and everyone speaks English, which is a huge plus for me. My only issue was the air conditioning, or serious lack of it. Nice and comfortable - lovely and friendly service from the receptionists. The sheets were not extremely soft but the towels were lovely: the yardstick to judge a hotel by, in my opinion. Really good central location too, surrounded by the old town and lots of pubs, bars, restaurants.
It was great stay, location clean but no refrigerator in the room. Even though the area is busy, the room was quiet. Simple room and good service as well.
Our room had a shower over the bath which you couldn’t get under rendering it useless as a shower. Also there was no ‘rubber’ strip under the shower screen so the floor got soaked. The garage was unavailable so had to park in road. It was ok and saved €50!
Good hotel in a great location with strong hipster vibes. The rooms are bright and functional and quiet. Very comfortable beds. Would stay here again!
The check in very easy and the hotel has great bag hood service. The rooms are fine in an old school house sorta style (if that’s your thing?). They also have free water sparkling and still which is nice
Rooms are a little too small, but the location and service are great. I especially liked the water dispenser offering chilled, filtered water and sparkling water. Arriving by bike, I appreciated the secure cycle storage.

Wonderful service and the most comfortable of rooms. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and helpful.
Honestly the hotel is qualitative but the room was small, there are no or very few common areas, it is tight and cramped, the breakfast is really not extraordinary, but otherwise very nice indoor pool and unbeatable location. The value for money is therefore average.

Magnifique view from the room to overlook the Lyon city. However, the bathroom drainage needs some improvement, otherwise water from shower tends to flow out onto the carpet of room. Food of Breakfast was alright, but with good services and great view.
This was my first stay at a Radisson Blu, and while there were many positives, there were also some areas that clearly need improvement. Very convenient location, just few minutes from Gare de Perrache. What I love the most is the breakfast. It comes with good selection of cheese, cold cuts, fresh fruits, hot food, pastries and more. I think this is is our hotel to stay whenever...
The room was very good, clean, tidy and comfortable. I was very satisfied.
The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was terrible; the sausages were stale and had a strange smell.

Great location, urban vibes, will stay here again
Great location, just across the river form the centre. Beautifully designed, excellent complimentary lounge and staff
Awesome hotel. Air conditioning worked well which was needed with the heat in June. We had a balcony room and it was absolutely stunning. Free snacks and drinks a real bonus. Late check out was great! Bed was super comfortable and the linen was nice. Staff were lovely. Fantastic location. 10/10
An incredible location, right on the Lafayette bridge which connects each of the city's sections, very walkable! We booked a second story balcony room, it had luxurious high ceilings with double french windows that actually open, which was great for the nights where A/C wasn't needed (the A/C worked great otherwise, and the windows are completely soundproof). The view from the balcony was amazing,...
If I could give this hotel a 3.5 stars I would. Pros: location is great, staff was wonderfully friendly and attentive. Every request we had was catered to and they kept the rooms very clean. Cons: giving 3 stars because the experience of actually staying in the room was average. It was a nice big room, but they made the bathroom so uncomfortably small and I’m not sure why. They had so much space to...
It was beyond my expectation. The exterior is simple and the interior is trendy. The snacks in the lobby lounge are available 24 hours a day, which is very considerate. The hotel meals are also of high standard. Our child had stomach discomfort for 2 days and ate in the hotel, which made us feel more at ease. The bedding is linen and very comfortable. The river view room has a beautiful view, and you...

Nice and clean hotel. Very friendly Highly recommend
The location is great, in the heart of downtown Lyon, surrounded by lively places, very close to all attractions, within walking distance. The room facilities are good, the bed is very comfortable. The hygiene is good! The service is warm and meticulous. The hotel's breakfast is great and of high quality, and it is equipped with a freshly squeezed orange juice machine!
Carpet is smelly, the showerhead is too low (around 1m, designed only for children?) and not able to adjust the height. A staff opened my door in the morning without knocking at the door. Dont come.
Good location. Poor Air-conditioning. They provided us a fan when we asked though, so not really much to complain about. Would recommend.
The room is small but clean. The front desk service is friendly and the English communication is smooth. The transportation is very convenient and there are many attractions around. There are many delicious restaurants around the hotel to choose from.
Unreal, we had the best stay! Will definitely be back!

Very good location, close to Halle’s Bocuse and 20min walk to Old Lyon
Close to the city center, 10 minutes walk, convenient for shopping
Our family has stayed at this hotel many times. The hotel is always good. The staff is welcoming and professional. The hotel is beautiful and clean. It smells good when you walk into the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. The location is very good.
Very good location that is not noisy even though is near to train station.
Mercure is a great hotel with excellent staff. They are friendly and professional. Parking fee of EU28/day is a high but reasonable. Slight downside is construction noise opposite during July 2024
There are better hotels in this network, for example in Munich!!!! There is clearly a mismatch between price and quality! If the price were more reasonable, it would be a solid four, but it would be a minus 4.

The hotel is located right on the river, offering a rich breakfast menu, which you can enjoy on the terrace while enjoying the view. The rooms are larger than typical European hotels, and the front desk offers free luggage storage. It's located next to a large shopping mall, including a Carrefour. The metro station is also nearby, making it very convenient to the tourist center of the old city and...
The hotel reception is on the second floor, and its design is truly chill. The open, free-flowing space, reminiscent of a shared office, combines various functional areas, including a restaurant, lounge, and reception. The hotel is situated on an island between two rivers, making it convenient to the old town. Reservations for the hotel's evening bar are required in advance, otherwise there will be...
Second floor can direct to shopping mall and street car
The food and service in the restaurant was very good
The hotel I stayed at during the French exhibition is not too far from the exhibition. Sanitation: It is still relatively clean and tidy. Facility: After all, it is new, opened in 24 years. Environment: It is still relatively OK, I will consider staying here again next time.
I was disappointed because even when I said I was celebrating a special date, they didn't do anything... not a letter, nothing. I requested and paid for early check in, they assured me that the room would be ready at 11am and it was only at 12pm that I got the room. I asked for a dental kit, in addition to the absurd cost of €6.50 (when in most hotels it is completely free) they also told me that if...
