The quality of this front desk team is low and they don’t know how to solve problems...i have traveled in nearly 20 countries, never seen a front desk manager who can be so emotional in front of his customer, when i complain with the receptionist why it took too long to find a parking in the late night and we need a solution for the car (their 15 parking places have all reserved in advanced), he just came in to the lobby and shouted at me as to deny my request to the receptionist. asked for a solution is not demanding for a hotel, but to them as they just don't know how to do and nobody tell them how to respond, yes; too demanding. i thought the front desk manager came back to the hotel at nearly midnight to look after the customers and help his staff resolve the problem together, but it's not. he made things even worse, i think he is drunk but no evidence. he absolutely forgot his role that is not to bring problem to this hotel, if every manager behave like him then this mercure brand has no more existed! the receptionist we met that day was also not smart (not lucky). hotel business is all about hospitality not mechanical work. i didn't know the room key kept at the front desk, if she can have a little compassion, at the begining she saw my little kid who still can not sleep at 11pm, she could take first to ask if we need a key to go back to the room, everything will be different.
