We had a two night stay at the nhow Marseille hotel, and enjoyed the location and the gorgeous hotel. One of the coolest hotels I‘ve stayed. It combines the elegant Mediterranean vibes with stylish decor and a friendly atmosphere. Spa is NOT included (which I found to be quite bizarre), but it was great too. One hour is around 15€. There is a pool accessible to guests (for free this time), but it’s not heated obviously. We arrived early and were advised the room was not yet ready because they were upgrading us to a suite. The room was fantastic with a 2nd level loft bedroom and an expansive balcony overlooking the Vieux Port. The mini-fridge was stocked with a nice variety of included drinks. Too many positives to mention all. However room was presented nicely, clean and furnished well. We had a Vieux - Port room with and fantastic view of the Port, the Bastille Day parade and evening celebrations with fireworks. The staff was outstanding. Helping accommodate restaurant reservation requests with little notice. We will be back.

As some have posted, the hotel is a bit faded, but the great room and friendly helpful staff made up for this. The breakfasts are great and good value. It featured local produce. The highlight was the room view over the old port during the Olympic torch celebrations. Staff recommended great restaurants and were very helpful on all matters.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We were lucky to get the terrace suite with port and city views and wow, we spent hours enjoying the breeze and views. The service was excellent. My only complaint is that the room was quite hot so we keep the patio door open at night which kept us nice and cool. Highly recommend, and definitely go for a room with the view of the port.

This is a fantastic hotel in every respect. The location simply could not be better: view on the Ancient Port, all sights nearby, Metro station in front, ATMs and supermarket around the corner. Very nice city hotel which was clean and good value for money. Rooms were a little on the small size but that is the nature of these town buildings. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which really made the hotel feel welcoming.

The hotel is near the old harbor. You can reach it within 15 minutes of walking. There is a metro Station nearby so you can go anyhwere in town easily. The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

The room is beautiful and big (executive suite) but the sofà was dirty so we have asked for an additional bed sheet to put on. Some people of the staff don't speak english. The room service (dinner) is very fast and tasty.

Very nice hotel! Nice area and good breakfast. Only issue is that the elevators are only 2 old and show ones.

Business hotel. No bar or restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays. Not many restaurants nearby. Ideal for football matches, five minutes walk from the stadium.

The staff were super I was concerned about the damp smell in the room but it aired out. Wonderful help over a forgotten passport.

We had a wonderful room with balcony overlooking the port. The staff was very nice and helped us get a reservation at the wonderful restaurant in the hotel. We booked a family room which gave us a bit more space to stretch out. We would certainly stay here again.

This is a rating for the new Hotel Maisons du Monde which has opened three weeks ago. The service and staff were extremely nice and professional. However, no bath in the bathroom which should normally be part of a hotel rated 4 stars in France. The room had no view, was small but clean and decorated with taste, just like the hall and lounge. Very pleasant hotel located close to the old port. We reserved a room with a view of Notre Dame de la Garde from a spacious terrace. The breakfast area was bright and spacious, but the coffee machines didn't seem to be functioning well. Very nice hotel lovely with dedicated staff. They were short staff due to covid but always tried to help which is expected from a hotel ! The minuses are sometimes less smiling (given the circumstances not a big deal) however credit card numbers are written on a Notebook which to me is a first in any hotels I have been and probably not really secured... Perhaps a good software or payment processing...
