The room is generally neat and tidy! The space is enoufh for two of us! Beds are comfortable! However, the lobby is a bit too smelly! It is a mix of smell of perfume and toilets, which make me feel disgusting! Other than that, everything is fine!

I came here with my mother. The room was very clean, the bedding was very comfortable and the scenery was great. There was a snow-capped mountain opposite. We arrived in the middle of the night. The owner of the B&B was very welcoming and the breakfast was very good!

Clean room, comfy bed and located close to a tram stop. There are some charging ports in the lobby and places to sit. I waited one night around 8pm at the restaurant. I asked the lady at the bar if I could sit and she said yes someone would come to me. I waited and waited, but no one came, so I left. The reception staff were friendly.

Good location, limited facilities but it is what you expect from a ibis. Parking is 22.50 pound per day. Customer service is not personable and not hospitable. Stayed in a holiday inn in Geneva who shared a map and told us about the city pass. Beds are good and for what you pay, it's reasonable, in a fairly expensive city.

It was located in a rather bad area, many homeless and noisy even after mid night. The lobby has a security to stand by, so you could imagine why they need to hire one. It was far away from metro stations, it was close to the train station if you need to travel further. Police patrolling cars were seen in the area every day during the five-day stay. Good value for money. Clean rooms and very good amenities at this price point (kettle, fridge etc.) lt's convenient for the main train station, but it's not in a very nice area. The road between the hotel and the Porte D'aix is one of the most unpleasant and dirty I've seen in Europe with rubbish everywhere. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault, but if you want a nice location, this isn't it.

Can't fault the service and attention we received from the reception, catering, bar and room service staff during our stay. Food we ordered was very good, from a limited menu, but competition from local restaurants is fierce, so understandable. Room comfortable but dated and some areas of Hotel need updating. Hotel is close to wooded area, so terrace and pool areas open to wild life.

Lovely staff, but the whole hotel looks and feels unloved and is desperately in need of a refurb. The location is really good. A 5 minute bus ride from the Vieux Port. The rooms are really nice. Unfortunately cleanliness was not up to 5 stars Intercontinental hotel. Indeed one massive cockroach next to the lift and Christmas tree in the lobby which was a bit of a bad surprise after the check-in. Then after getting the room I found hairs in the shower. The view and location are good.

Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the restaurant and our server, Martin, was excellent and gave us a few good recommendations for places to go around the city. My room itself is fine, but I couldn’t sleep because the couple in the room next to mine kept talking very loudly. I waited until 1:00 a.m., but they still didn’t stop, even after I went over and asked them to lower their voices. Location is ok.

The slamming of doors is infernal. In the evening or morning, you can't expect to be quiet. Also, overall, it's expensive for the size of the rooms. The staff is excellent.

Excellent location close to the biggest mall in the city. Breakfast buffet has many choices including bacon, eggs, good charcuterie, fruits and other foods along with different coffee options. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Swimming pool is attached to an outdoor area to fan and relax in the evening. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Alex Hotel last week. It's in a perfect location for getting around the city. We were surprised with an upgrade to a prestige suite when we checked in! Massive room which we loved, just wish it came with a safe. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is well positioned in Marseille with amazing views over the city, especially from the rooftop bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel room well equipped and a very comfortable bed. Parking the car securely was simple with the expert help of the concierge.

A very comfortable room with a geat veiw on the Vieux Port fo Marseille. Overall amenities and service in line with the 5 stars category of the place. Excellent breakfast served in the roof restaurant with view. You should also have your dinenr in the restaurant which is of highest quality. It is near to the train station. However if we want to go back to the hotel from the old city area, we need to walk long stair. Also, the environment outside the hotel is little smelly which is like urine smell but maybe this is the smell of Marseilles

We stayed there for one night as a family (2 adults and 2 children). Pleasant room, comfortable bedding, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. We reported a problem with the bathtub drain, which was repaired very quickly. No noise disturbance. However, the room cleaning remains unsatisfactory (lots of dust behind the sofa and in the corners).
