Great hotel for the price. Was a bit surprised by the cabin toilet which is very small but it had nice features as in a washing line and a Japanese bidet toilet. The AC was great, the beds were okay, the view was okay. This was perhaps one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Everything was in excellent, recently renovated condition. Room was spacious. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Front desk staff was friendly. Location is very central and walkable. One of the coolest hotels I‘ve stayed. It combines the elegant Mediterranean vibes with stylish decor and a friendly atmosphere. Spa is NOT included (which I found to be quite bizarre), but it was great too. One hour is around 15€. There is a pool accessible to guests (for free this time), but it’s not heated obviously. The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

The room is beautiful and big (executive suite) but the sofà was dirty so we have asked for an additional bed sheet to put on. Some people of the staff don't speak english. The room service (dinner) is very fast and tasty.

Very nice hotel lovely with dedicated staff. They were short staff due to covid but always tried to help which is expected from a hotel ! The minuses are sometimes less smiling (given the circumstances not a big deal) however credit card numbers are written on a Notebook which to me is a first in any hotels I have been and probably not really secured... I stayed here in September 2024. This hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and metro subway - just across the street. Emilie at the desk checked me in and was lovely and very friendly. The room had a nice view of Marseille, the sea, and Basilica. I was given a top floor room by the elevator. Great hotel. We arrived at 3 pm and the front desk manager was very friendly. Recognised my platinum status and offered late check-out which we took. The parking is easy and not too expensive.
