Where to stay in Marseille

One of the coolest hotels I‘ve stayed. It combines the elegant Mediterranean vibes with stylish decor and a friendly atmosphere. The Hotel staff are well trained on hospitality aspects of their job, they were professional, patient and kind to me. If I ever visit Marseille again, I would definitely seek accommodation at Golden Tulip!

The room is beautiful and big (executive suite) but the sofà was dirty so we have asked for an additional bed sheet to put on. Some people of the staff don't speak english. The room service (dinner) is very fast and tasty.

Great hotel. We arrived at 3 pm and the front desk manager was very friendly. Recognised my platinum status and offered late check-out which we took. The parking is easy and not too expensive. Very pleasant hotel located close to the old port. We reserved a room with a view of Notre Dame de la Garde from a spacious terrace. The breakfast area was bright and spacious, but the coffee machines didn't seem to be functioning well. There's a restaurant located in the hotel, but there are also numerous restaurants and other amenities within walking distance.

This is a rating for the new Hotel Maisons du Monde which has opened three weeks ago. The service and staff were extremely nice and professional. The hotel is completely renovated and nothing like what the old reviews say (I visited in July 2021). The rooms are clean and there are sensitive smoke detectors ensuring people cannot smoke in their rooms - no more smell of cigarettes anywhere. Good for a hostel. Right across the street from the train station. The area isn't the best, but once you get away from the train station it isn't too bad. The bathrooms were clean and showers had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast is 5 euros. Drinks are for sale at the bar.
