We stayed at Ibis Marseille Centre Euroméd for two nights in November. The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from Marseielle St Charles, near les Docks Village and 10 minutes walk to Les Terrasses du Port in a quiet part of Marseille. Three stars because of breakfast both food and attitude of breakfast personnel. Helpful staff in the reception. Nice room. Very good location. Clean room, comfy bed and located close to a tram stop. There are some charging ports in the lobby and places to sit. I waited one night around 8pm at the restaurant. I asked the lady at the bar if I could sit and she said yes someone would come to me. I waited and waited, but no one came, so I left. The reception staff were friendly.

Good location, limited facilities but it is what you expect from a ibis. Parking is 22.50 pound per day. Customer service is not personable and not hospitable. Stayed in a holiday inn in Geneva who shared a map and told us about the city pass. Beds are good and for what you pay, it's reasonable, in a fairly expensive city.

Good location, rooms were clean also it cleans every day if you want, has air conditioning and Japanese toilet which is really good, breakfast was included and it was pleasant. Marseille is terrible city, homeless and weird people around, the city smells like garbage I won’t recommend to come at all, but it is critique to the management of the city.

It was located in a rather bad area, many homeless and noisy even after mid night. The lobby has a security to stand by, so you could imagine why they need to hire one. It was far away from metro stations, it was close to the train station if you need to travel further. Police patrolling cars were seen in the area every day during the five-day stay. Good value for money. Clean rooms and very good amenities at this price point (kettle, fridge etc.) lt's convenient for the main train station, but it's not in a very nice area. The road between the hotel and the Porte D'aix is one of the most unpleasant and dirty I've seen in Europe with rubbish everywhere. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault, but if you want a nice location, this isn't it.

My room itself is fine, but I couldn’t sleep because the couple in the room next to mine kept talking very loudly. I waited until 1:00 a.m., but they still didn’t stop, even after I went over and asked them to lower their voices. Location is ok.

The slamming of doors is infernal. In the evening or morning, you can't expect to be quiet. Also, overall, it's expensive for the size of the rooms. The staff is excellent.

We loved our stay at the Alex Hotel last week. It's in a perfect location for getting around the city. We were surprised with an upgrade to a prestige suite when we checked in! Massive room which we loved, just wish it came with a safe. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

It is near to the train station. However if we want to go back to the hotel from the old city area, we need to walk long stair. Also, the environment outside the hotel is little smelly which is like urine smell but maybe this is the smell of Marseilles

Location is great if you want to experience the “raw” side of Marseille. Very well located around great restaurants , bakeries and public transport. We stayed at this hotel for the weekend for the Bruce Springsteen concert, the location was fabulous, right by the port and close to everything. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again if visiting the areas, thanks.

I stayed here in September 2024. This hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and metro subway - just across the street. Emilie at the desk checked me in and was lovely and very friendly. The room had a nice view of Marseille, the sea, and Basilica. I was given a top floor room by the elevator. The room was clean, furnishings were decent, but I felt like the carpet was due for a change....

Great hotel. We arrived at 3 pm and the front desk manager was very friendly. Recognised my platinum status and offered late check-out which we took. The parking is easy and not too expensive. The room was great and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good 👍. For an inclusive breakfast it was the best in a while. The staff were very friendly, and it was very convenient to be able to park inside the building. The dishes and cooking utensils were well-equipped and convenient to use. However, the room was smaller than expected and there was no table, which was inconvenient, and there were no stores around the building, so it was a little scary to walk around at night.

Very convenient location for public transport to the football stadium.

This was the worst Ibis styles hotel, where I have been. Definitly not 3* hotel. Staff - very average, not communicative and chaotic, breakfast - this was absolutely not equal to three star hotel,this was hostel style breakfast. Bathroom - Water pressure in the shower very poor. Room was clean and thumbs up for windows black out. There are better Ibis Styles hotels in Marseille.

I stayed at Le Drip's for only two days with my daughter during a (very) short trip to France. The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Very simple hotel at the heart of old port. we have no facial tissue provided in the room. when we arrived, they are doing renovations outside our room`s corridor. i have not been informed and shocked to see the floor has been ripped off and dust is everywhere.

The only one complaint i have is luggage storage time. You can't collect your luggage between 12pm and 3pm, which is very inconvenient.
