I had a rental car available and used the hotel as a base to travel around the south of France
The location of the hotel is unbeatable, especially the view room with balcony, the higher price is worth it. The breakfast is rich and it feels comfortable to eat on the large terrace
In short, except for the price, there is nothing wrong with it
And seriously, breakfast with that view? Unforgettable! While the room decoration felt a bit standard, and I found the reception staff less attentive compared to the fantastic valet service and restaurant team, my overall experience was definitely positive
The concierge staff were extremly helpful. I thought the location was great as the harbor and restaurants are nearby. The rooms were also very nice with a view across the harbor
Just wrapped up an incredible stay at the InterContinental Marseille - Hotel Dieu, and I'm still in awe of its stunning architecture! The hotel's prime location, right next to the historic Old Port, made exploring Marseille an absolute breeze

Can't imagine how awesome it would be during summer months with the patio and pool overlooking the Mediterranean. Parking was a little confusing as far as getting to the ramp from within
Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations
There is a pool accessible to guests (for free this time), but it’s not heated obviously. I highly recommend getting a room facing the seafront, the views are stunning. My rooms was spacious and had great facilities
A special mention goes to Benjamin, whose attentive and professional service made our stay even better. He provided valuable tips for exploring the city efficiently
The breakfast offers a delightful variety of fresh local products. The spa is small yet essential, with options to book various treatments and massages in advance
Thank you for a wonderful stay; we hope to return soon! Valeria

This gave an overall impression of neglect.   While our room was spacious and comfortable, the linens and towels were worn and in need of replacement. It would greatly improve the experience if these were renewed
Up market hotel. Enjoyed the pool and outdoor relaxation area.
The hotel is located in the old town, the location is very convenient, the attractions are basically within walking distance, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby
Excellent location, one of the best hotels in Marseille. Suitable for travel and business trips
Superb stay, I would return. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff

The room smelled, AC barely got cold, minimal old worn out everything, the hallways were in disrepair, underwhelming pool area, etc. The bathroom and shower were clean and ok
Very good Lunch at Mid-Day at the restaurant Magaté, food is perfect, with great fish and amazing Desert ( millefeuille ), with great service from Alessandra and Christophe. We will come back
Wonderful location. Very clean. Great staff. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the view across the Old Port its terrace.

If that doesn't exist, branding this a 4 star hotel is fraudulent, period. I honestly can't think of how they can fix this place. I'd suggest maybe converting it into a self-storage or office space
You drive down a side alley then go down a narrow hole in the ground, stop at a metal door (which ominously opens). Then into a confined lot for micro cars (SUVs must occupy 2 spots)

The location is very convenient. It is not very far from the train station. The surrounding is also very safe. The hotel is very clean and cleaned every day. It is very cost-effective during the peak tourist season👍🏻👍🏻
Great location with amazing helpful staff. Everything was so great. When ever we need it help staff was always helpful and happy to help. Hotel in walking distance to shopping centre and so many local rest.
The front desk staffs are nice and helpful. A bit disappointed as the only one water dispenser was out of order and we need to ask the staff at the bar to take water instead.
I used to stay in the Ibis next to the train station for convenience, but that one is much worse than this one. I will stay here again next time I come
Good location. Right next to a tram stop and close to the old port and the mall of Les Terrasses du Port. Great service. Good value for money.
The floor is a bit dirty, but everything else is good, and the sound insulation is good

At 7/8 o'clock, someone reluctantly came to change the garbage bag and give towels. The actual condition of the terrace floor and lounge chairs is shown in the pictures
After repeatedly telling me that there were no towels to use at night, the temperature was over 30 degrees, and the garbage was not cleaned up and it smelled
After the negotiation, they actually provided two extra quilts. Ctrip's direct contact did not work well. It may be because of the agency relationship of b00King, and the store does not take it seriously
The hotel is next to the old pier, and the apartment is on the street 300 meters away. You need a card to enter and exit the main door. The old house is OK, but the color is darker
But the front desk clearly wrote that the temperature that day was 12 degrees at night. The sound insulation on the first floor is poor. I spent the money for a sea view room to live in a noisy room with street view
I sneezed dozens of times when I looked at the computer for 30 minutes at the wooden table, but there was no problem with the metal table. In short, I don’t recommend staying in this hotel

The room was perfect - spacious and cool, with great decor. I would definitely recommend a meal in the restaurant too, the food was delicious and the setting was lovely
I stayed at Le Drip's for only two days with my daughter during a (very) short trip to France. The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable
Amazing hotel. Great rooms, Very kind service Great design Great location, not far from the center but also in the green environment Fair prices
Amazing hotel! Lovely staff, clean and relaxing and with a wonderful street art aesthetic! We loved spending 6 nights here as a family
Great location, clean and spacious room and great staff. Very nice stay
Supermarket across the street, breakfast in the morning's, rooms are nice, not really any English TV channels.

The location of the hotel is excellent since you avoid the traffic of the city centre, but it is not far away from it. There is a secure, open parking. There is no height limitation which was a concern for us
Thus, as I said, its location is perfect and the parking is excellent!! Room was clean and was cleaned every day. At least, our specific room could be a bit larger. Nothing fancy, but it had all the basics
Its price though was too high, for what was offered. Overall, we had a very nice experience and we will book again in our next visit to Marseille (hopefully we will get a larger room this time)
Good hotel for the price. Night manager was very kind and helped us for automatic check-in as we arrived almost at midnight. Parking available at this place, wifi is well conection.
There are also many and quality choices to go out for food, with a large range of prices, within a walking distance
In addition, the smoking area at the entrance to the hotel and under the bedroom windows is disturbing (smoke + noisy discussion until late in the evening) for other guests

Even if we only stayed for two nights, there were room cleaning service, unlike other hotels. The breakfast was basic but satisfying. The parking was spacious and safe. Everything ran smoothly during our stay there
We arrived at reception open hours and we checked in with a very welcoming and well mannered gentleman. The room was small so as the bathroom but all spaces were modern and crystal clean
Really I am very satisfied by the service in this hotel I fell very happy to stay in this hotel
Small room but really fair price, the staff is very kind and the whole structure is very clean. The bus stop is on the opposite side of the entrance but is easily reachable.
hotel rather close to the harbour / yard. No restautrants in the close area. Simpel hotel rather high price for room for this kind of hotel
The place is nice, clean and good service. Location isn't good, it is far from the center and a bit scary going there by public transportation.

The room is small and suitable for people who take a temporary rest after a long drive
This hotel is way out of town and driving is challenging. Used to be a Formule1, I suppose. Very basic - pass code instead of a key, minimal contact with the staff. Not any serious restaurants nearby
It is some distance from Marseille, and there are hotels nearby, including large supermarkets and several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel management is also relatively standardized
The room is relatively small, and the light green background is very healing. There is a closed courtyard outside, which is safe and secure, suitable for self-driving living
There are self-service drink and snack vending machines and microwaves, but there is no hot water kettle. You need to borrow a hair dryer from the front desk
Friendly staffs, clean hotel perfect for an overnight stay.

We would definitely stay here if we ever get back to Marseille. I hope we do get back, it was a great city to visit, and the hotel was excellent
Great location next to marseilles station. Staff are friendly and helpful.
We stayed at ALEX for 3 nights and had a great time :) The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful, we were able to spontaneously book breakfast (which had a bit of a limited selection for breakfast lovers, but wasn't bad) and a massage in the spa (which was excellent!)
Nice little hotel within walking distance of Saint-Charles station
We chose the location because it is close to train station.  The hotel definitely serves the purpose.  Room is clean.  Staffs are friendly and helpful.  The breakfast is good and worth it’s value.

Amazing place - what a privilege to be able to stay in one of Le Corbusier's finest buildings. I am not a Le Corbusier fanboy (although I do like him), but the whole place really is stunning
The room itself isn't luxury but they are constrained as to what they can do as this is how Le Corbusier designed the building! It was very comfortable and the owners are fantastic
I found myself just looking around and smiling at how clever the whole place is
I think they really wanted to keep as much original pieces as they could, and that’s why the functionality is not at its best… Anyway, the overall experience was very good
We stayed at this hotel because we love the building. We had deluxe double room with sea view. The room and the bathroom are very big
The price is high for what you get in terms of the room (old and dated) but the building and the access to the roof are wonderful

Pleasant stay and awesome view !! Positives: Very cordial, thoughtful and super helpful staff :) Awesome view right from your bedroom- you can see the sunrise and sunset right from the bed, well connected by bus, close proximity to a small beach, lot of restaurants near by
Awesome little hotel run by a family. Interior is quite quirky but very charming. Bedrooms offer a stunning view over the sea and islands. The owners is very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it.
Extremely happy with the stay! As it was my birthday trip and the owner couldnt help organise anything special for us they provided us with airport transfer at the their own cost which was sweet ;)
Negative: bathroom is old style and just enough for a quick shower, bathtub is too small for an adult. having a lift could be helpful if you have senior people travelling with you
Be prepared for more of a b&b atmosphere and a quaint older hotel. Lovely family runs the whole thing. It's a decent walk from the old port, but quite a bit cheaper
Lovely views, though the shutters can be loud on a windy day. It's an experience to stay here, especially for us North Americans accustom to big commercial hotels

The location is fantastic with side views of the old port from many rooms. The rooftop terrace is a lovely facility and wonderful for photos of the Old Port and Notre Dame de La Garde
The rooms were very comfortable and everyone enjoyed a great night's rest. The breakfast was excellent - a great selection and thoroughly enjoyed by all
Very good location, amazing staff. Not the biggest room, but very clean and comfortable, don't spend to much time in your room in this beautiful city anyway. Perfect. Will definitely stay there again.
We travelled as a group and we were delighted with The Hermes. Communication in advance of travelling with Margaux was helpful and efficient
Great location, friendly personal and clean price/performance rooms. I say "perfect" if it required to explain it with just one word. They gifted us a breakfast due to that we were "honeymoon couple"
We received a warm welcome and were facilitated with leaving luggage on arrival and departure. The staff were so kind and welcoming - on arrival and night staff also

The gentlemen at the counter even opened our door for us. The room was super clean and when we were leaving the next day we witnessed the woman cleaning a room, she was wiping every surface
During our stay they went above and beyond: they let me use their microwave in their break room, they loaned me a bowl, they let us store our bags there all of the following day, and then we ate our outside food there even though we weren't staying there
Kinda scared at first, because the price was so great. Upon walking into the hotel the smell was amazing, after getting up the stairs you are met with a smile and friendly face
The staff always welcomed us with a smile and was accepting to all
I had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The only minor things were the light in the bathroom not working and the ceilings being a bit low in the room
They unfortunately charged us twice, but paid it back - the room were clean and just the only think that I was missing was a hair dryer

Clean hotel, breakfast needs to be improved in terms of quantity and variety. Small pool.
They were short staff due to covid but always tried to help which is expected from a hotel ! The minuses are sometimes less smiling (given the circumstances not a big deal) however credit card numbers are written on a Notebook which to me is a first in any hotels I have been and probably not really secured
Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is away from the large gatherings of people. We preferred to be a walk away from all the action. It’s minutes walk away from the action so it was perfect.
Perhaps a good software or payment processing solution website would have stored this securely for the clients. Other than that it was great! Breakfast and rooms were clean and nice
Top hotel, service, location, quality of breakfast, cosmetics, welcome, decor. Everything very good.
I highly recommend going to the conference together. The teachers are so envious of me😂😂

Hotel is close to the port on a quiet street with no shops, restaurants, people))) very small swimming pool and not good service there (at spa zone)
The hotel is spectacular, boasting an excellent location. The service is outstanding, with staff who are both professional and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed
My friends who iwas away with treated me to this hidden gem of a place. If you like rum or cocktails you have to experience this amazing place. I was blown away by the whole experience
The service is very good. The room is also very nice. It is relatively large and quiet. The location is the best

The hotel is very basic, nothing special. Pros: The staff is very friendly, and compared to other hotels in France, we left the best impression possible. The pillows are uncomfortable and high, making my neck hurt
The hotel is no-smoking, but unfortunately, some guests smoke, and the ventilation system lets a terrible smell into the bathroom. It would be better to have just boiled eggs, not this omelet-like mess
The shower leaks a little, with cracks in the walls and ceiling in places. The windows could do with a good cleaning
The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. It was within walking distance to the central points.
The breakfast is not bad, a classic hotel breakfast, a complete F/P hotel, the location is good, there is a hospital next to it, a tram is 5 minutes away, you can go to the main train station in 15 minutes by walking
There is no hair dryer in the rooms, you have to request it from the reception, there is a vending machine downstairs from the reception for an iron member (paid), there is a market nearby

Great location, walkingdistancefrom everything. Breakfast was included, but nothing to wow about. Overall, it was a nice hotel for the price I've paid. The only one complaint i have is luggage storage time
It is very close to the Old Port of Marseille. I stayed in Room 18, and I could see the Old Port from the window. You should pay attention to the business hours of the front desk when storing your luggage
You can't collect your luggage between 12pm and 3pm, which is very inconvenient. What is the point of closing the storage if the staff there anyway. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star
Excellent location the receptionists were really helpful Room as described very functional but prefect for our stay within 10 mins walk you have so many amazing things to see and do
However, the hotel doesn’t actually have on-site laundry service for guests, and the toilet seat and toilet paper holder both fell off by the second night
Our room was also never made up in the three nights we stayed there. But for this price, I am very happy with my hotel experience here!!
