A hotel in the Marais district.
There are many shopping spots in the surrounding area.

The staff are very friendly and the service is warm.

It's not too Parisian, in a good way.

The hotel interior is flashy, but clean.
CODAGE brands are used for shampoo and other amenities, which made for a luxurious stay.

The location was good in the Marais area. However, the room was quite small and had a strong perfume smell that made me uncomfortable.

It was a hotel with an old-fashioned concept. The amenities were excellent, and it was nice that water was provided, which is rare in French hotels. Another advantage was that you could have unlimited coffee and tea. This is a rare opportunity to stay at a reasonable price in the hip Marais district.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel upon arrival. The hotel has a lot of charm. It has an inviting and cozy feeling as soon as you enter. Christian at the front desk was extremely nice! Check-in was very fast and we got into our room in a couple minutes from arrival. The room was small as usual in Paris, but very cute; and most importantly, very clean. The bathroom is actually quite big for Paris standards and you could tell it had been recently renovated. The room has a safe, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer and a little closet. In addition, there was a complimentary bottle of wine in our room upon arrival, which was very cool and the wine tasted great 🍷
Thank you for a pleasant stay! Definitely will consider again for any future Paris travels.

Great location, because of proximity to Metro, and many places of interest. Easy to get to Notre Dame, the Louvre et al. Room was rather small, wifi was useful though service intermittent. The best part was Eskinder, the day person at the Reception. Terrific man, extremely helpful. He made it all happen for us. Room rate wasn't bad, considering convenient location. Will certainly go back, with much hope for slightly better room!!

I've been very pleased with my stay at the Castex hotel. The reception was very nice, the room was pretty, decorated with taste, even though it was a bit small. A free bottle of wine was there, with glasses and a bottle opener, and there were also a kettle and 2 mugs. There was an empty fridge too. The only thing that was a bit annoying is that the bed was sliding on the ground when you rested your back on the wall, so we had to get up to push it back very often. The Wifi was great, well above my expectations. I would definitely come back.

Nice, quaint little hotel in a quiet neighorbood. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are lots of good, small cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is also very close to the Bastille metro station, which made getting to anywhere from the hotel very simple. The only downsides really were that the rooms are rather small and did not seem to have air conditioning. All in all it was a good place to rest and unwind after spending the day out seeing the sights.

Started our stay with a warm welcome by the friendly staff. Not the fanciest modern design, but it felt kind of cozy. Bathroom is modern and clean, free bottle of red wine, extra pillow's, bed is large but not a boxspring. Great location to explore the city on foot or with the metro/subway.
