The location was just perfect to travel at the Paris Monparnasse station.  There are quite a lot of great restaurants around and it’s literally 3 mins to the train station by walk.  The room was pretty decent with good size.  Highly recommend for those who takes the train from the Paris Monparnasee station.

A busy city centre hotel, with lots of tourists and often queues for check-in and breakfast. But my room was spacious, with good amenities (fridge and safe), plenty of towels and a great view of the city. This is a nice clean hotel centrally located in Paris. My husband and I stayed here on our trip to Europe June 2006. We had a very nice room and the hotel staff were pleasant . This was the last place we stayed before our return to the United States and even though it wasn't my favorite hotel on our trip it was still quite nice.

Amazing hotel. It is also walking distance to the metro with two stops near by. I really like the rooms very quiet and spacious. I highly recommend staying here. I stayed here on a summer trip to Paris over the summer. I love, love Westins, but this one itself was older. My room did have a view of the Eiffel Tower which was cool. There's an open air cafe on the 1st floor where I had dinner two nights; that is perfect. I just wish the rooms weren't so dated. The locations was okay (a taxi from the train station, a walk to the Louvre).

The best experience i had in Paris this summer during the Olympics, was this hotel. Close to everything, cozy and beautiful. I stayed for 11 days, and it was really worth it. I stayed somewhere else after for few days, and it wasn’t nearly as satisfying.

I stayed here during the Christmas season, but the traffic around the Louvre was so bad and noisy that I wouldn't recommend it at this time of year. (Not the hotel rating, but the surrounding environment)

The room was clean. Near by Seine river and Effiel Tower. Once walk out from the hotel, you will see the Effiel Tower right away. Convenient location. Room was average at best, spacious enough though. Breakfast buffet had plenty to offer, and hotel is in walking distance of a nearby pharmacie, grocery store and restaurant. It was a nice stay for three of us in the triple room. Loved that we got the drinks refilled every morning and the hotel was very near to montparnasse station and Gaite - we could walk to most places we needed to get to and some of the best eats in Paris are close by. We visited in January 2020 just before Covid wrecked havov to the world. We decided to give St James Albany a try because my family wanted a hotel with a pool and we wanted to stay near the Louvre. We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and tidy (Housekeeping did a good job). Breakfast was good too.

Room was nice, medium size. I had no cold water for my shower in the morning. People next to me checking out had no hot water. Buffet is subpar for this area. Watery eggs, cold bacon, coffee maker kept leaving chocolate in the bottom of the mug. NOT WORTH 24.99eu.

Well located hotel with typical small rooms for Paris. Overall it's OK to stay there, but the rooms need some refurbishment (plugs not correctly installed, cover of switches falling down, windows with bad noise insulation,...) Unfortunately also no gym is available. Next time I think try another hotel.

The location of the hotel is ideal. It is 2 minutes, if that, to the M4 station. The hotel is a tourist class, so you cant expect luxury, but it focuses on what is important. Stayed here for a weekend in Paris and the rooms were great. It was the perfect size and a clean room. Breakfast was ok, it was pretty standard. I also tried the food and they have a pretty good duck here. The bar was also superb and had entertainment with a man playing the piano. The staff was great and they were very helpful.
