Everything about our stay at Melia Notre Dame was outstanding. In a casual conversation with one of the staff we mentioned my wifes bithday. The evening of her birthday we returned to a bottle of champagne and a card from the staff. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff are not very friendly to non French speaking guests. They do not clean your room daily even you stay longer than a night. You're probably only staying in this area as a tourist for the proximity to the station, but there are some decent areas in walking distance, especially if you like Indian food. Very short walk from Gare du Nord (about 5). The place is clean, the rooms are well insulated from the street noise, and the air conditioning works well. Stay for a stopover during a train journey and it was a very good stay. The rooms are well designed and there's a room safe. For food, the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis is a short walk away.

Stayed for one night on way to holiday destination. Hotel is modern but with atmosphere. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was brilliant. Very handy for Gare du Montparnasse. Would definitley highly recommend.

Pricey but worth it. Helpful and friendly staff, nice checkin area with cafe, clean functional rooms. And surrounded by safe nice area with restaurants and coffee. We'll be back.

Had a good stay. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Rooms stocked with Nespresso coffee, kusmi tea and various drinks. Breakfast buffet was good but we had to wait a while to be seated each day is annoying and chaotic. We paid for daily breakfast but the last day we could not get our food as the wait to seat was too long and we had to get to the airport. Location is good, close to several metros. Also...

I was really impressed with the quality of your accommodation. It's clear you put extra effort to ensure customer comfort. As an example, having easy and free access to quality water (carbonated or plain) on every floor was a nice gesture. Your daily breakfast was world-class. I would visit Paris just to eat there in the morning. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Comfortable clean adequate breakfast buffet. Bit far from the shops 9 mins walking distance
