, it became impossible to stay in the room during the day due to renovation work downstairs. You could hear drilling noises from every direction. We assume this is just a temporary situation

Lastly, the location is truly excellent — just steps away from all the major historical landmarks and the metro. We didn’t really enjoy the nearby restaurants, so I recommend doing your own research

There wasn’t even a single toilet brush in the bathroom we used with the kids. After using the toilet, there was no way to clean it until housekeeping came the next day

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted to balloons and champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary as well as our daughter’s birthday

Our room was quite small for two adults and two children. The mattress on the adult bed was in very poor condition — it was deformed and wavy. The children’s bed was essentially a converted sofa

We arrived before our room was ready and I was offered an area to change my clothes and wash my face - much appreciated after a long international flight! Location is great - so super easy to walk to so many things! And the towels in the bathroom are heavenly!

The bathroom has a glass splash guard, however given the rain shower, it does not prevent the water from flooding the floor. Only way to prevent flood was to take a bath each time. The shower area needs to be redesigned

Loved I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was so accomodating. They had a ribbon on my door and balloons in my room for my birthday. When i returned to Paris, they upgraded my room. Great hotel! Near everything!

This is a great choice on the Left Bank around St. Germain des Pres. A lot of what we want to visit are within walking distance. The room is nice and quiet. The staff very helpful. I'd go back again.

Despite being a platinum elite member. The front desk staff was not aware of the check in amenities. I was not offered bonus points of 500, breakfast or welcome gift

Myself and my Mum stayed from the 5th to the 10th June and had a very nice pleasant stay at the Tim hotel. Very nice clean hotel and we enjoyed the breakfast every day. Nice staff replenishing the breakfast area

The front desk service is very good, with maps. There is a pharmacy at the door, a restaurant on the corner, a coffee shop, and a supermarket. The Louvre and Louvre subway station are just a few minutes away

Karim helped myself and my Mum get a reservation at Le Grand Colbert which we thought was impossible so we were very grateful to Karim for that. We would stay at this hotel again given the opportunity

However, the room is relatively small and the facilities are not as good as those in China

We found in particular Karim one of the reception staff very helpful and a very nice chap

The room is large, the bed is big, soft and comfortable, but it's not damaged at all

Great central location within walking distance of metro/ Not really Dame/ Lourve / Latin quarters. Room is relatively spacious and clean .. Will stay here again when I visit Paris

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and polite throughout my stay. While the amenities are a bit basic, everything I needed was available, and it was more than sufficient for a business trip

It is also within 10-20 mins of walking distance from many restaurants, bakeries, pubs and grocery stores. Close to major bus stands and the metro. They have a 24 hour reception but we did not find them very helpful

The air conditioner had a certain older smell to it and we needed to keep the windows open to avoid our allergies acting up. The location however was the selling point for this hotel

The apartment rooms have kitchens and basic cooking utensils and dinnerware. There is a gym ans a laundry room where you can wash your clothes a fee

What a wonderful location, beautiful hotel, excellent service. We had an amazing time in 3 days we managed to literally walk anywhere. The best restaraunts close by. Super grateful my husband chose this hotel

I was on the first floor with view to another building, which was fine because it meant quietness. The room and bathroom was very clean, there is a small refrigerator and also a tea/coffee making station

The staff were lovely, helpful, cheerful, and my room was beautiful, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I highly recommend this hotel

Our family visited two nights last month and the location is perfect to explore the Paris sights. We walked everywhere, to the Seine, to the Louvre, to Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Orsay, etc

The hotel is very close to a metro station and different cafes and restaurants. The street stays busy until late and as a solo female traveller, this is a plus

But in general, it’s a nice safe area where you can use public transport or walk to many sites. I would stay here again if in Paris

The room was beautiful and spacious and well appointed - and quiet! Centrally located on Boulevard Saint-Germain we had easy access to all the major sites, a marvelous variety of dining and night life options , endless beautiful shops

Ruben helped us last minute when our Airbnb was a bust. He made the last minute change seemless. The room was spacious and beautiful. The service impeccable and the location was very central to everything

My wife and I had a really nice stay at the Madison Hotel to end a week in France and it is a beautiful place. The employees were also very kind and welcoming each time we came in. The rooms were really nice as well

Check-in couldn’t been better and I was (as always) given an early check-in! I was accompanied to my room by Victor from the excellent Butler service team and was blown away by the beautiful room with a balcony and a view on the Point Neuf

I can carry on like this: the Dior Spa, the pool, the birthday cake, the gifts, the flowers, the fantastic turn-down service, the in-room dining, the breakfast…All excellent!!! Spoil yourself and go and stay there

When my husband hurt his ankle in one day the hotel provided the ice for him which made him much better. The breakfast is in best value! It is a must if you stay in the hotel

The location is superb and close to the most of sightseeing points within the walking distance. also near to the metro and bus stations. The supermarkets are close to the hotel too

Asked for this to be refilled with hot water and again it was lukewarm - not sure if this is a French thing? I was also a little concerned that when we asked for coffee it was literally just instant coffee in a cold tea pot, and if you ask for tea you get a pot of lukewarm water and have to add tea bags etc yourself

Just a few small issues which is why I've given 4 stars: Parking is very limited here - originally I booked this hotel because on Google Reviews and Hotels. com for some reason it says this hotel has parking

The steam room is a luxurious room with large areas to lie down and there's also an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi functions. Really relaxing experience and it was actually quite empty too

We parked on the street right in front, but it cost about €24 just for 3 hours. Room was spacious but the toilet was in a separate room to the shower and it was a very cramped space

Lots of spare clean towels just outside the spa too. Breakfast food was nice and fresh - croissants, jams, fresh yoghurt, freshly squeezed juices

Also for some reason they kept serving us lukewarm water in the breakfast tea pots

Located near the center of Paris, it is convenient to go everywhere.

The location is very good. Right by the Seine. You can walk to most attractions. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit small. The bedding is clean. The water provided is in a paper box.

Hotel Le Sénat made us very happy because the location, cleanliness, the comfort of the rooms, the view, the breakfast, and especially the kindness and helpfulness of the reception staff were all amazing

This is my second time in this hotel. The location is superb, a quiet and beautiful street. We took the Junior suite, the other rooms are small. The Junior suite is very convenient and comfy and we had a beautiful stay

It is right in the city center and walkable to restaurants, parks and other stores. I intend to go back to this hotel our next trip to Paris!

What an amazing hotel! The staff is very friendly and the room was just perfect! The room was not big but was cozy and the bathroom was really good and spacious! Room was cleaned and organized for us everyday so everything was spotless when we got back to the hotel! We also absolutely loved the spa part of this hotel, which has a sauna, steam shower, and more. This felt so nice after the long travel days. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!

Location was ideal and we were able to walk to many places like the Notre Dame and great restaurants in Saint Germain, & also rode the nearby Lime bikes to Eiffel Tower and Louvre

Our room was great with a beautiful balcony with a view of Notre Dame and more, and the bathtub was so nice (which is apparently harder to find in Paris hotels)

We ultimately decided the 5th/6th arrondissement would be a great fit for us and we were SO glad we chose Hotel & Spa Saint Jacques

Amazing location 10 minutes walking distance from the seine, 5 minutes away from late night food and bars and still managed to be in a very quiet area for a peaceful sleep. 7 minutes away from the metro as well

We just loved the Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche. What luck to choose it blindly with an online reservation! The front desk staff (especially Ana and Stephanie) were most helpful and patient in fulfilling any requests

Went out for breakfast as we preferred being outdoors to the basement dining room in hotel. The glass tables were lovely but provided no storage. But it’s all about location and service

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris

The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me

The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices

After spending hours researching the different areas in Paris we finally decided on this hotel given its proximity to the river (and therefore to areas such as the Latin quarter) and its overall central location

It is extremely close to public transportation, making it very convenient to get around the city when you are tired of walking One thing to note is that there are a variety of room types that fall within a particular room category

Germain des Pres neighborhood but on a quiet side street so there is no noise. My room was lovely and given the insane heat of August, well air-conditioned! But the best part was the exceptional staff in all roles

We had a super lovely view of the courtyard at the center of the hotel which at Christmas time was completely filled with Christmas trees and felt like a verifiable winter wonderland

Quintessential Parisian. The hotel is perfectly suited in the 6th, beautifully designed, decorated, maintained and serviced. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We will certainly return.

I was thrilled! Finally, my flight home was cancelled and the front desk immediately confirmed that I could stay an additional night with a cheerful follow up call a few minutes later telling me that I could remain in my room (they shuffled things around)

There is also a lot of street cleaning that goes on early in the morning that is extremely hard to sleep through. But you’ll get that in a lot of small hotels in downtown Paris because the buildings are generally old
