The best service I've experienced in Paris coming from a hotel. Particularly Christina in Guest relations, Noah and William in Inroom Dining. Exceptional. This is a decent hotel, but definitely 3 stars. The rooms are average, the service is average and the location is very touristy. They also asked us if we wanted to upgrade when we arrived. They didn’t mention it would be for a steep additional fee until I asked. We didn’t take the upgrade but it felt like a very unusual thing for a 5 star hotel to do.

This is one of our favorite hotels in Europe. It’s not the most glamorous but that’s why you go. Understated, peaceful, and calm luxury in a busy lovely sometimes chaotic city. Everything about our stay at Melia Notre Dame was outstanding. In a casual conversation with one of the staff we mentioned my wifes bithday. The evening of her birthday we returned to a bottle of champagne and a card from the staff. Nice hotel. The room is nice and clean. Paris is a very expensive city and I paid €470 for 3 nights over Easter 31st march to April 2nd. The stairs and carpet could probably be changed to make the place look a bit newer. I thought the place was very clean and the staff were very nice and it was closed to the metro. Perfect location, all of the city's major points are walkable or easy accessible through one of the several metro stops in the neighbourhood. Only reasons it’s a 3 star is really because of the area the hotel was in which didn’t feel that safe and was quite dirty but it is still close to the station and has good transport links. Good price, walking distance from Metro Station. Rooms small and bathroom small as well. No room service and restaurant not open on weekends. Recomend for Max 2 nights, we stayed 5 nights and luckily we only need for sleep.

Overall, I had a great experience as the staff was incredibly helpful and went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The amenities were great, with clean and stylish rooms. Our go to hotel whenever in Paris. Far enough from all the tourist attractions to have cheaper rates but right next to the train station that gives you easy access to anywhere in Paris. Rooms are small but clean, quiet, and pretty high above the traffic.
