Miramar Mini-hotel

I liked the location but not the service, safety and attention to customer comfort. They don’t really seem to care much about the customer once they hand over the key. Our room had a faulty lock and wouldn’t lock. Even though they have a sign that says “please lock the door on your way out” they told us no need to do it. I insisted that I don’t feel comfortable with leaving my belongings in an unlocked room and asked for a different room. They said they are fully booked. Then we saw that the door wouldn’t even open after a few locking attempts. Once they saw that, they gave us another room (so they lied!).
Additionally, the housekeepers work in such a messy way. The corridors are already quite narrow and the housekeepers leave everything (trash, used bed linen, their cart,… in the middle of the corridor making it i possible to pass!! I had to lift my suitcase on top of my head to pass that mess and get to the staircase on checkout day.
And finally, you need to hand over your key everytime you leave and request it again when you get back. There is a 24/7 reception but they don’t ask for identification when you request the key (and it is a completely different person at the reception everytime). All you need to do is say your room number. So technically I can just say any other room number if I know they are out and get their key! A bit scary.
Not a good experience overall.

Very noisy rooms and poor insulation , I could hear everyone talk in the hallway and my neighbours' TV on or them talking. There was also a sewage smell in my room (1st floor)
Due to that, I really didn't have a nice stay in this hotel, even though it was conveniently located and the staff was friendly.

We had booked this hotel for accessibility for wheelchair on Orbitz and we came to find out that they have 2 steps in the entrance making it impossible to sleep there. When we found out we asked for refund but they did not refund us our money back. They made us have to find another hotel before the day of the reservation June 4th-8th 2023. Would never recommend to people that can’t walk.

There wasn't air con in the room. We had to open the window, then we had to face with a lot of traffic noise. Also, the room wasn't sound proof according to the advertisement. We heard someone's snoring.
