Loved the hotel and location. Great food and service! Staff were very attentive. The carpark below with a lift that takes you to your floor was a massive plus. G&Ts are a must!

Very impressed. A very comfortable spacious room, with plenty of facilities such as ironing board/iron, UK channels on TV and excellent well lit shower room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar were also good. Parking underneath although quite tight if you have a large car.

It was lovely to stay there during our city break in Rouen. Very spacious and clean rooms, comfortable and big bed. Location is good, close to train station and all touristic areas. Hotel reception also helped us with finding nice options for dinner opened on Sundays.

The room is good than I expect. Quite big, quite, comfortable and big bath. Breakfast is good. Have many things to eat. Parking undergroud price is 12€ can park until 3 p.m.

The food was great and Service was excellent.

Nice room. Underground parking. However the AC was not working at all!!! Even though i asked before if it was working before checking in... Sad.

Well situated and within walking distance to the old village centre. Rooms and facilities are modern and well kept in a minimalistic fashion. Breakfast was exceptional. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. Parking on the street or at an additional cost under the hotel.

The loo would not stop filling, we had to use the manual over ride. The hot water took ages to reach the room. Because of this other guests had clearly got frustrated with the shower control, and had turned it so often it did not work. Result is a very hot shower. The room needs a new shower controller quickly before some one is scolded. Bed side reading light, bulb blown

Wonderful hotel! Fantastic staff!! Bruce, Louise and Collette were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. We were close to sites and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend the Hotel Literaire Gustave Flaubert.

The staff is is helpful, generous and kind. Dinner suggestions given. The young lady in the breakfast room so very helpful. Rooms, clean, small, but easy to navigate. The most interesting experience, a car elevator. We will return.

This a beautiful hotel built into the shell of an old building. You are within walking distance of the Cathedral and the Musee de Beaux Arts as well as the train station. The hotel is very well situated for seeing the main sights of Rouen. The bedroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The television had a good sized screen and a choice of many channels, a few in English. The self service breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. There were 2 lifts. Some rooms have better views than others.

Great location and very friend staff. The (bath)room needs an update and the 2 person bed was really small! Location wise really great, with all shops, restaurants around the corner. Bit difficult to reach by car, but the indoor parking behind the cathedral is top and cheap! We will come back to Rouen for sure!

The room had modern amenities such as a refrigerator, digital safe, hair dryer, reading lights, iron, kettle, and good lighting in the bathroom (two settings). Garage entrance and parking spaces are really tiny& narrow,do not enter if you have a bigger car rental that you're not used to,marks on the walls prove the point. Room was nice but bathroom a bit too simple,suggest to have more toiletry products for a 4* property. Corridors&doors need some touch-ups. I have stayed in a lot of Mercure hotels and this was the most disappointing. The room we had was tired. The curtains had holes in, there was chipped bits around the sockets in the bathroom and a socket had been removed meaning we had to pull the fridge out and un plug it each time we wanted to use the kettle. Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice sized. They only have 1 small elevator that fits one person with baggage at a time. I would stay again. Parking is available at the train station across the street.

I had the best sleep on our whole trip at this magnificent hotel in Rouen. High quality bedding & furnishings. We loved the deep bathtub and circular shower, lots of counter space, large bath towels and a robe and slippers for both of us. Best hotel in Normandy and in Rouen. A hidden gem in the middle of Rouen town centre. Access to all pedestrian streets, cathedral, etc. It is an old chateau transformed into a modern hotel from inside. Prime location. Easily reached by the metro, which is about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Staff are all deserving of 5 stars. The front desk was always friendly and helpful. This location is in the middle of cafes, food stalls, and restaurants, whatever your pleasure. The single fault (I realize this is a reach) was decaffeinated coffee for the in-room Nespresso.
