Lyon, 23 Cours Charlemagne 🧭 Map
We recently spent 3 nights here on our visit to Lyon. The check in experience was very good. The person working the front desk at the time was very friendly and helpful. Even walked us to show us the section of the hotel our room would be located. The room was very nice. We had a balcony with views of the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower was nice. The only downside was the toilet...
The central location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the hospitality were great. The breakfast was very rich and wonderful. Not having a minibar in the room was a problem in winter, but it could be in summer. Thanks for everything
Our stay in the hotel was great. It is very close to the train station and public transport. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff are extremely nice and friendly.
Very very comfy beds, very friendly staff! Everything felt clean and good quality.
Breakfast was a bit chaotic, room was packed and felt understaffed, a lot of stuff just wasn't getting replenished for longer period of time. That being said, everything was tasty! Would book again!
Lovely hotel is a central location. There is a main metro & train station less than a few min walk away and a team stop outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms are modern and very comfortable. I really liked the outdoor space in the courtyard, nice to sit and relax and have a coffee or a drink
Nice hotel, conveniently located close to a metro station. Clean, pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms are slightly small.

Great hotel, alot of construction in the area and hard to get to it. We arrived 8:30 pm and no where in this area to find dinner as everything closes early. Had to settle for a boring sandwich at the front desk. But the rooms were nice, breakfast was decent.
Very good hotel. Freshly refurbished room, nice view on the city.
The bar serves good cocktails (bit of a waiting time). Parking of the hotel was full… that shouldn’t happen, I had to park a bit far in the street.
Overall nice hotel and friendly staff.
Nice room, well decorated, very clean. Magnificent view from the room. The only negative point is the entrance of the building. The road / sidewalk to enter into the hotel is quite dirty. Certainly doesn't deserve to be the entering road for a four star hotel !
We stayed two nights in this hotel.
The check-in was not very smooth: there were many guests wanting to check in and it took quite a long time. The person who checked us in was not very friendly: no smile and not very enthusiastic. We did not feel very welcome.
Room is ok: beautiful view over the city. The bed is rather small (150 cm) and a bit hard.
Breakfast is good and is served in a very nice...
View and room are great. Parking is really difficult to find. No signs at all, while the road is closed. In the end you need to go on the bus/taxi lane (while officially not allowed). Therefore not 5stars
An impressive building, inside and out, with stunning views over the city from the 32nd floor restaurant and bar.
A little corporate, but the slick service needs to cater for the occasional tourist that walks in, as the reception staff seemed all too keen to ignore anyone not entirely dressed for the occasion. One could stand at reception in jeans and a ski coat for some time, whilst more obvious...

Booked a night there for the Light Festival in Lyon. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The room was quite large and there was even a small balcony which I believe can be nice to enjoy the view and warm weather in the summer. The TV in the room had lots of local and international channel to watch, however we couldn’t manage to link our Netflix account to the TV. It appears that the TV wasn’t connected to...
I only had a business dinner at ZUCCA Restaurant of Marriott Hotel Cité International, but it was an outstanding experience. The dinner was exquisite, perfectly paired with excellent wine, and the dessert was both delicate and delicious. The waiters were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. Highly recommended!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room/ bathroom is big enough but the cleaning could have been a whole lot better unfortunately. It's not giving the 4-star vibes you're paying for. Last night there were incredibly noisy party people next to us and a lot of guests had complained apparently. We were told at the reception that they were aware of the noise and they said sorry for the inconvenience...
The staff here is wonderful and I really wanted to like this hotel…. Unfortunately this hotel desperately needs a renovation…..which is scheduled for next year. Rooms dated and in poor condition. Despite Lyon being the gastronomy capital of the world, the food and bar offerings here will disappoint. Looking forward to seeing their improvement in the future.
The check in staff were top tier, amazing. The location is right beside a bus line with easy access to the train and city center.
The hotel needs an update. Peeling paint on the ceiling, rusty looking shower floors, walls peeling out badly patched, in general needing a refresh. We were there for the Olympics and a few of the soccer teams were there so at times there was no access to parts of the hotel...
This is my favorite hotel in Lyon. Clean, modern, no hassles, and the breakfast buffet is perfect!
Just across the street from the most amazing park.in France on one side, and a beautiful river with walking/biking path on the other side.

Premiere Classe Lyon Centre Gare Part Dieu
Lyon, 75 Boulevard Marius Vivier Merle 🧭 Map
Accommodations are everything one expects from a hotel, check-in was quick and efficient and the room was comfortable enough with most common appliances. It's located near the train station, so it's ideal when in transit. There few bar/restaurant options nearby, unless you're going for a quick bite or are willing to take the bus/tram to the center.
We were greeted with warm receptionists. Our rooms were ready on time. The rates were very reasonable. The rooms are on the small side but cleanliness is a huge factor. Air conditioning was a plus. We slept 10 hours here.
For a 2-star class it is a very good choice. Close to the train station, clean, slightly cheaper than others around, functional, had some features I missed in more-stars hotels, such as tight curtains letting you sleep in pitch black or a window that actually opens, so you get fresh air too. Kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful; since my train was early, in the evening...
you get what you are paying for. Prices a bit expensive comparing to quality and services but overall i would recommend.
I found it a very nice hotel, good price and ideal location close to La Part Dieu main station of Lyon, rooms are nice with a good value of money
Super tiny cramped rooms fit only for sleeping and bathing with difficulty. But great central location and budget price for the area.

Great walkability and location. Rooms are standard, definitely nothing fancy. Biggest problem is the shower floods out the floor of the entire bathroom so that there’s standing water around the toilet. Told the front desk staff, and they said “it’s just the design”
Very nice hotel, perfect to visit Lyon due to its central position. The room are clean and tidy and the personnel is young and super gentle.
Breakfast ok. There’s also an aperitif included in the price (with drinks on your charge though) but we didn’t have time to try it.
One negative point: the bathroom of the basic room has the walls made out of opaque glass, making the light go through and it was...
super experience!
Great location.
Free fruit drinks and snacks in the club.
Small but very clean, well designed room, though the shower doors were not watertight.
Lovely, brushed linen quilt, sheets, and pillows.
Superb clean and soft towels.
Friendly, efficient, and very welcoming staff.
Great location. We came for a art Biennale. It was very easy to move around and many of tourist attraction are walking distance. The rooms where simple/minimal design, clean and practical. It looked bigger than what was indicated in m2. The bed was comfortable. The staff was adorable and they let us to early check in. We often go to this hotel when we visit Lyon.
It’s a small but cozy place, with a great lounge downstairs that is empty most of the time. the location is great and there’s parking spaces nearby.
Love the view of the river, the unique feel of the bed sheets and the pillows. It’s clean and comfortable.
I’d definitely recommend this place

The location is fantastic on top of a hill overlooking Lyon. Staff are very courteous and professional, but hotel needs to be updated. Specially the pool and spa area. Great: Staff, view, wellness area. Room is rather small for the price. You should be in decent shape as the hill is quite steep or you’ll have to Uber every time you want to go out.
Very nice hotel design, great staff. Bartender knew what he was doing, and was game for something interesting (eg. Tequila Old Fashioned). Rooms are as you would expect at a place like this, although I found there to be a little lack of drawer/storage space to unpack for a few days.

We enjoyed four beautiful nights in this elegant, beautiful hotel.
The rooms are gorgeous and well appointed, particularly the bathrooms.
Service was personal, friendly, nothing was ever a problem.
The views of the old town are fantastic, but be prepared for the walk, Uber or scooter ride up and down the hill each day if you’re planning to stay here to explore Lyon over several days.
Staff are outstanding, so helpful, efficient and friendly. Receptionists, concierge team are fantastic. They helped plan my sightseeing and organised 2 great taxis during my stay.

We did enjoy our stay here. Mainly because it was a heatwave in Lyon and spending two nights here beats being in our hot apartment with no AC. Though they could do with some improvements.
Positives:
Rooms were cool but not cold and very spacious.
My toddler loved the pool and they had a baby pool area.
I always love a gym so that was a plus There was free babysitting service.
Negatives:
Not much...
Great place with comfortable rooms and amazing pools.
Was the perfect stop over on the way to the South of France.
It’s made clear that if you don’t book the spa access the pools are not included so there should be no surprises on that.
Biggest City SPA in Europe. It has an Olympic sized outdoor pool. Food is very good. Breakfast is great. Balconies are humongous. Very good rooms and bathrooms. WiFi is not working in the rooms only downstairs I don’t know why. There is a nice hairdresser inside the hotel. If you have children there is a very good kids club in the SPA areas. You can also play squash and table tennis there. We had an...

MOB HOTEL Lyon Confluence
Lyon, 55 Quai Rambaud 🧭 Map
For its value it is excellent, the food was generally good, room was very basic but had what you need, staff was kind and the hotel had a very modern feel.
The hotel is really hip and nicely decorated. The restaurant Karlito was heaven sent! A great Italian. When we entered the hotel thought the restaurant, we decided to cancel our reservation in the center and eat there. And was the right choice. Finally we got some good charcuterie board and good wine ( believe it or not we had a hard time to find them in Lyon during the Christmas exceptional time)...
Small, but cozy rooms. Nice atmosphere, friendly people. The toilet in the room is not sound-or odorproof, so it‘s good every room has a small balcony.
With a strike taking place for Iberia, my travel plans were delayed and I lost most of y reservations. So instead of staying Vieux Lyon (old town) the only available decent hotel was MOB in the more modern Confluence area. This hotel is good for crashing and I noticed some work groups utilizing the spaces downstairs. It's modern and has what you need but it's small and confined and far from the best...

Hotel is ideally located for exploring the city. Concierge was a great source of knowledge and advice on what to see and do. Staff overall were so helpful. Hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend highly
Really recommend this hotel. Perfect location in Lyon, Valet parking (€30/night). Lovely lobby and entrance, meeting 5 star expectations. Very friendly, capable and professional staff too! Location was as good as we could expect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, complimentary minibar (water, soft drinks and nuts) more than made-up for this. I will stay here again on our next trip to Lyon.
Location of this hotel is not bad.
Parking also exists and they have own places.
The room is also fine and a team is friendly.
For me always important that a mattress is comfortable, otherwise i cannot sleep and here the mattress was good.
Very dated room with many issues including:
* Bathroom tiles broken, loose, with gaps/missing grouting or mould in the grouting.
* All the furniture was scuffed and chipped.
* Massive stain on the carpet in the room.
* Peeling paint throughout.
* Enamel peeling on the bath.
However, the bed was amazing as was the location and the view.
Overall a bit surprised for a 5* hotel.
We stayed for one week 3 rooms and we loved the location, staff and the breakfast. Valentine at the concierge was superb, with all suggestions in what to do and ready to help. We stayed as an overnight stop - the hotel were very helpful in parking our Campervan (the underground car park is height limited). The pool was busy but pleasant. Good hotel with a nice pool area, good restaurant except for the hideous Poke Bowl. Underground park is good and enough spaces. Rooms and shower are excellent quality. Breakfast is amazing and plentyfull. I enjoyed a nice stay with my family for a short stopover on our way to the our next destination.
great location, great parking, great staff, great food! very good family restaurant would highly recommend for stop over or couple of days

Our room had a shower over the bath which you couldn’t get under rendering it useless as a shower. Also there was no ‘rubber’ strip under the shower screen so the floor got soaked.
The garage was unavailable so had to park in road. It was ok and saved €50!
Good hotel in a great location with strong hipster vibes. The rooms are bright and functional and quiet. Very comfortable beds. Would stay here again!
Rooms are a little too small, but the location and service are great. I especially liked the water dispenser offering chilled, filtered water and sparkling water.
Arriving by bike, I appreciated the secure cycle storage.
We stayed for 2 nights, the first night we asked to change the room because the drain of the shower was totally clogged. The second one was smaller but had a nice view to the terrace. The staff of the hotel are very young that unfortunately were very inexperience, no problem with that, it would be nice to have someone with experience that could guide them. I found the room uncomfortable and not suitable for anyone but someone quite young hence the name. Too cute. Having said that, great location
This hotel is very different. It's like rustic chic. I've never experienced anything quite like it.
So there are many bad things about the hotel. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Staff is very helpful, relax and super friendly. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food at great price value. The park the la tete d'or is within walking distance and offers some nice activities - in particular when travelling with small kids.

This place was super quirky but had a lot of good things going for it. The location is right in the center of the old city with a ton of classic Lyonnais restaurants in every direction, as well as plenty of patisseries, gift shops, and the marionettes museums.
The building itself is VERY Lyon, with the classic stacked staircases look you'll see throughout the old city and its traboules.
But the rooms...
Beautiful building. Gorgeous rooms, if not a little dark. Lovely indoor pool, but only really big enough for one person, or a couple to swim.
Beautiful building, very unique and sexy rooms (albeit some may think they're slightly claustrophobic and in need of refreshing), great service, and the best location. Really, the location simply can't be beat.
The downside is that many of the rooms badly need renovation, especially since some don't have a shower (!!!) and the spa could use some renovation as well. I was told that Raddison is going...
Really intriguing place to stay in for a weekend. Lots of small restaurants around and intact architecture to explore. I'm really impressed with the social atmosphere in Lyon. During the evening time the smell of amazing scents coming out from nearby boutiques, confectionery shops will make you feel relaxed and amazed. Worth coming over ?.
This is a quaint little hotel. We loved our room and loved all the attention and service. Dinner there was a treat.
