Reviews
Lobby beautiful, Reception staff are polite but some of them need more english language training..
Restaurant buffet is good with variable foods and drinks..
Room is comfortable size.Bed and pillows comfortable also..
There is a beautiful balcony with great river view..
I gave 3* to room for a reason that it was uncofotably cold during my stay for 3 nights from 26th till 29th of September..because (as reception said) this period between summer and winter they don't activate heating system.
But I think this not so acceptable,.
So I ordered a blanket but it didn't smell good,so I didn't use it..
Bathroom beautiful, it has a shower and a bath tub.
- Location: there is NOTHING in the area except a very nice park. No good restaurants nothing to see.
- Staff: rude and oblivious
- Cleanliness: old hotel that they tried to do quick fixes to make it better - didn't work
- Room not ready at check in - arrived at 12:30, returned at 3pm and STILL had to wait 1 hr after standard check in to get a room
- Missed profile health requirement : Room was NOT feather free - person has HIGH allergies
- Power outage at midnight to 8am (no power in the room)
- Cold water - took a long time for the hot water
- Holes @ makeshift sketch changes in the bathroom
- Zero response on Marriott chat app
- Leaking refrigerator
- Front desk and concierge had zero assistance on where to go what to see etc
- Food at Zucca restaurant was flavorless and took a long time.
And with all of that... the staff, including the manager, did not seem to care.
Even worse was breakfast the next day. Our reservation clearly stated double breakfast, but when we got there, they said there was only one room available. We showed them our reservation, and they told us to go to the front desk on the second floor. We went, but they said their manager wasn't around, even though it was clearly written in black and white. They wouldn't even let us in for breakfast. The worst part is, my parents went in for breakfast, already holding their plates, and were kicked out again! Are you a hotel like this? Or are you discriminating? I don't know what you're so superior about. These lousy hotel workers don't even know the most basic respect. How is your country developed? Is it developed in terms of sexual openness? Did developed countries colonize the world 100 years ago? This is the most infuriating time ever. This is my first negative review ever.
Check in, because I think it’s simply under staff?
Room is ok and big and view is good, however, rather strong smelt of detergent or deodorant.
Location : park next to hotel is great
I had dinner, presentation was fabulous, but fish was not fresh to my standards.
Worthwhile staying for exploring the park to enjoy.
TV should upgrade to phone connection.
Can see hotel is old but they tried to maintain it.
The location is average, not very close to the city center.
The positive side is that the hotel is very quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the gym is quite good.
