Even worse was breakfast the next day. Our reservation clearly stated double breakfast, but when we got there, they said there was only one room available. We showed them our reservation, and they told us to go to the front desk on the second floor. We went, but they said their manager wasn't around, even though it was clearly written in black and white. They wouldn't even let us in for breakfast. The worst part is, my parents went in for breakfast, already holding their plates, and were kicked out again! Are you a hotel like this? Or are you discriminating? I don't know what you're so superior about. These lousy hotel workers don't even know the most basic respect. How is your country developed? Is it developed in terms of sexual openness? Did developed countries colonize the world 100 years ago? This is the most infuriating time ever. This is my first negative review ever.
Check in, because I think it’s simply under staff?
Room is ok and big and view is good, however, rather strong smelt of detergent or deodorant.
Location : park next to hotel is great
I had dinner, presentation was fabulous, but fish was not fresh to my standards.
Worthwhile staying for exploring the park to enjoy.
TV should upgrade to phone connection.
Can see hotel is old but they tried to maintain it.
The location is average, not very close to the city center.
The positive side is that the hotel is very quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the gym is quite good.
1. No bellman assistance was available at check-in. I had to carry all my luggage myself, which was unexpected for a property of this category.
2. The front desk had three counters, yet there was only ever one staff member available, leading to delays and lack of attention.
3. A staff member entered my room without permission while I was in the bathroom, which was extremely inappropriate and intrusive.
4. The bath towels did not appear clean, and overall bathroom hygiene was disappointing.
5. During breakfast, the coffee machine was broken, with no backup option provided.
I sincerely hope you can review the current service standards and improve the training and management to reflect the level of quality guests expect from the Marriott brand.
The female front desk lady was nice and helpful when we first arrived. The room was not ready so she assisted us with our bags.
We came back around 3pm and the gentleman who checked us in gave us a room that was not made. We went back to the lobby and got another room. Our room received 2 water on the first day, but non thereafter. There was no lotion or hair conditioner. We had to contact the front desk every day to request for housekeeping, because the first morning we went out and came back at 2:30pm and it was still not cleaned. Finally, a knock on the door and the maid said they are leaving in 10 minutes if we are not ready to leave. I asked for 1 minute to gather our things. When we came back our room was cleaned but without any clean towels. In a rush, we left the wet towels on the racks so they were not replaced. Since that first day, we decided to contact the front desk to request housekeeping when we step out each morning.
Another incident while waiting for our Uber ride, I asked the front desk for a bottle of water and the guy said “only at check in”. When asked if there’s a vending machine, he pointed to the restaurant on the other side of the building. This did not give off a proper international hotel vibe at all. Also, there’s something wrong with their elevators. They were slow and the front ones sometimes skip your floor.
The lobby is very nice. The breakfast area is also nice with friendly staffs. The men’s toilette by the lobby was not working.
