We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and always quick to respond to anything we needed. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The location is great — a quiet and pleasant area, yet close to everything. Breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety of options.
The only small suggestion would be to have a slightly larger toilet with a washbasin inside.
If we come back to Lyon, we will definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet my expectations. I specifically requested a quiet room facing the courtyard, but was given one facing the street with trams — it was very noisy. The photos on Booking do not match reality: the building is quite old, the rooms are tiny, and cleanliness was not up to standard.
Check-in was delayed — I had to wait until 3:30 PM even though the official check-in time is 3:00 PM.
The lighting in the room worked inconsistently, which was really annoying. The power outlet on the right side didn’t work, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, which made it stuffy and damp.
Overall, this hotel does not deserve its claimed 4 stars — at best, it’s a 3-star property.

The rooms were quite warm and we had to keep the balcony door open to maintain an appropriate temperature. We were on the church side so that was a bit noisy at times with the playground. Next time we’d stay on the other side which seems quiet. Otherwise all was good with a great location.

Very helpful, polite and smiling staff. Tasty and diverse breakfast. The mattress and pillows are more than perfect. Very close (2 min) from a tram station and a big train/bus/metro station (5 min). 15-20 minutes walking to the main sights. The rooms are a bit tight. Highly recommend.

The room was really good and proper. So was the breakfast.
The check in was at 3pm. We were ready to wait because obviously they have to clean and stuff. But when we got there at 11 AM, the room was actually ready and we had to pay extra 10€ to check-in. I understand that 11 AM is way too early but even if we wanted to check-in at 2:30PM we still had to pay 10€ for a room that doesn't require immediate staff attention or any of their time and energy.

If it was for the hotel as it is, we had better option in pricing and location but we choose this only for parking. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our honeymoon. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The prices were reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. We mentioned it was our honeymoon, and the staff went above and beyond — they decorated the bed with rose petals, added a heart-shaped balloon, and even offered us a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift. It was a lovely and thoughtful gesture that made our stay extra special. Highly recommended!

Me and my family was there for the second time and we was again impressive from the service from there rooms and from the breakfast the Employees are very kind. From my side a highly recommend. Love greetings from Germany

Great view from the window . And there are games on the ground floor for people to play when it rains , I’ll still stay here next time I come to Lyon

The staff were amazing especially Valerie on reception, she was very helpful.
The location of the hotel is perfect for trains, trams to go and explore the city.
Breakfast was excellent and again staff very friendly.
