Mercure Centre - Gare Part Dieu Hotel

环境：It is close to the station. It is very convenient if you use the station.
服务：They were very kind. They gave me tourist information and a map.

设施：Unfortunately, there was a problem with the electricity on the day of the visit, and the lights kept going on and off, which was very inconvenient. The problem continued throughout the night.

This was our second stay at the Mercure. It’s super convenient because it’s basically at the main train station. Catching the metro or a train is super easy. The rooms are nice. Basic with the toilet separate from the shower. We love that the windows open. This time our Internet didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it so they just moved us down a couple floors. Less of a view but we weren’t in the room much anyway and husband had a small bit of work to do while we were there so he needed the wifis.
One of the things we enjoy is the water in the lobby. It’s easy to fill up our water bottles at night or on our way out the door.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar. We didn’t utilize it this visit. It’s accessible as well.

Good sized room and lovely bathroom. The location near the station was really good so easy to get to the old town by metro. Only point off was the air-conditioning. Even at full blast set at lowest level it has limited affect.

It was a pleasant stay. Awesome for a family. Rooms are large. One bedroom can accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms which made showering efficient.

The hotel is in a prime location, right next to Lyon Train Station, a 2-minute walk from the station. The hotel rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, clean and hygienic. The front desk service is enthusiastic. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old town

We stayed for 6 nights. The location is excellent being essentially at the centre of Lyon transport- the Rhinexpress tram from the airport stops about 50m from the hotel, and the Part Dieu SNCF station is next door. Trams are outside and on the other side of the SNCF station, and the metro is there as well. There is a huge Westfield shopping centre beside the SNCF.

The rooms were excellent, except that the air conditioning could be a little stronger- we were there for unseasonable heat, and the first night was a little warm. Make sure you have a room that has a window that opens to the open air- ours was above the entry, so it did not actually open to the outside.

The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is very nice- we had dinner (3 courses for about E30, which was reasonable) and the breakfast buffet (E20, a little pricey).

I would definitely stay here again. It is safe, warm, clean, and a step up from the other Accor hotels in the same building.

the hotel is super close to train station. Receiption is nice and helpful. The sink in the bathroom is not working and water keeps coming up which is quite dirty....

The hotel is directly next to Gare Part-Dieu. For us, travelling by train, it was a perfect location and that was the main reason why we chose this hotel. The rooms were pretty big, including the shower with a rain-showerhead.
But:
-they still use keycards with magnetic strips (which of course got demagnetized)
-ac didn't get really cold
-there was a leaflet about oil-capsules for the shower, but only one of the four rooms we had, had those
-bed was ok, but the pillows were too big, too soft but also too high
-hallways were very hot and lifts pretty small
-breakfast was nothing special (no omelette station; scrambled eggs was made of powdered instand egg; no mushrooms/hashbrowns etc)

The room is quite big. The hotel is very close to the train station, less than 2 minutes' walk away. However, the chandelier in the room would not light up after trying several sockets. There were no other problems.
