Best Hotels in Agia Marina

Food and drinks at the hotel were great, cocktails were excellent and full range of spirits. We ate at the pool bar a couple of times and the menu was very good and food tasty. Staff Staff at the hotel were really nice

This was our second visit to The Atlantica Amalthia and it was even better than last year. The service, the rooms, the food - everything was as good as we remembered and in some cases even better

A couple to note - Level (good service and drinks ok), Litina (nice drinks terrible service, we walked out one night after waiting for drinks), the rest of the places to drink seemed to be restaurants

Sotiria at the beach was amazing, Kiki at the pool bar makes the best gin brambles and Antonis just makes sure everyone is happy! Can’t wait to go back next year

Excellent service in the Spa today All the therapists, Maria, Josephine and Helena are very professional and very skilled. Beautiful products that smell amazing

It seems bizarre they cannot just fit a screen with no gap ! The bed was not comfortable , mattress very soft and the “double bed” was obviously two mattresses zipped together so sank in the middle All staff we met were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was of very good standard

Bed very comfortable, bedding clean and room spotless. Especially after the disaster of our original hotel. We are only two days in to a two week holiday and I could stay for longer

Also would like to mention the lovely lady who does the massages. She was amazing and got rid of my sciatic pain. Very friendly and will definitely have another one before leaving

There’s two sides which makes it very interesting. One side on the beach front and the other where the pools are. We were given a sea view on second floor and I couldn’t fault it

All inclusive is not really all inclusive. Rooms at the seaside (first floor) are old and small. Facility's are not very good.

After arriving in Chania to Galini hotel up the hill, we weren’t happy with the hotel so booked this hotel

From the reception staff,who are all gorgeous,to the bar staff etc, what can I say but wish I had chosen here first. This hotel should be 5 star, not only for the staff but its stunning location

Just came back, we stayed in this hotel 10 days. One of the best hotels ever visited in Europe. The beach is just in front of the restaurant, the bus stop to Chania across the hotel

I’ve visited this resort twice now and it’s great. Lovely staff, nice apartments (especially sea view apartments) and is located right on the beach with two pools. Lots of food options nearby as well as in the resort

The hotel is clean,the rooms are wonderfully arranged and very clean but the most important, the whole personnel and staff was really friendly, ready to help you anytime and answer you all the questions you have

Reception staff very helpfull with any questions. One thing…there is a massive hill going up to the hotel, not recommended to those with walking difficulties, even with the lift there is still one steep hill to climb

The staff, food, cleaners, pool, bar, șea view was really great We enjoyed a lot, everyone was smillibg and willing to help The hotel experience it was really profesional and we had a lot of fun at tge hotel

The room was quite small but the bed was comfy the air con excellent and the shower hot and powerful. The food was very good, great range of items for both breakfast and dinner

My partner and I had a lovely week at Theo hotel. We arrived late on the Monday night but food was left for us in our room which was a nice touch. The hotel is up a steep hill but there is a lift which is very convenient

Rooms spacious, pool nice, nice distance from the sea. Cannot fault the hotel! Stayed b&b and the breakfast was a hit, loads of choices

We are returning guests because this is a very nice hotel and give exellent service all over.The location is very good, in Agia Marina, with direct access to the beach from the hotelgarden. We will return next year.

We were greeted by Alexander and his team with a smile and welcome drink. Our room was exactly the one we requested and we looked out to the beautiful pool and beach. It was a very large room with a amazing size bed

The facilities and little touches such as kettle, coffee machine and fridge were a bonus. The staff make this hotel superb. They cannot do enough for you but also give you the privacy when needed

A short bus ride into Chania itself is a must - stunning port area, with charming cafes, restaurants and shops

They become like family as the days pass by. We could single people out but the truth is they are all great. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff work hard to keep it this way

Our second visit to this excellent hotel. We asked and were given the same room as the year before which we were very happy with. We had B&B again as there is a huge variety of items available

We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis ands there was always plenty to choose. There is a very good swimming pool although we did not use it as we were at the lovely beach which was just across the road

a good hotel by the sea, its own beach, a restaurant with a view of the sea, a large parking lot, the only downside is that for some reason they also made parking spaces right in front of the windows of some of the rooms, it would be better if they weren't there, it spoils the view, the staff is nice, everyone is polite, we were surprised that they gave us a brand new umbrella for free to use for...

The staff are all ridiculously friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was terrific and the view from our room was lovely. (We had room 6 which is supposedly the best one) Hope to visit again in the future

The pool bar made excellent cocktails and Manos's cocktails are far the best ! The Thalassa is in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance

This was the second time we've stayed at the Thalassa and we were so pleased we did. Fantastic hotel , lovely staff , great room and a good size balcony with a pull out clothes drier

The sunbeds on the grassy area by the pool were very much in demand every day, but we preferred the beach anyway (coarse sand and rocky when you go into the sea so take beach shoes!) Everywhere was very clean and tidy, a well-looked after hotel

All the staff are very welcoming and attentive; a special mention goes to Klapsas the cat for keeping us entertained at breakfast! Bar area and Ouzaki beach restaurant are lovely to have lunch in, the bar has a nice vibe in the evening

We rented a lovely day bed and towels and enjoyed the sun, bar, and restaurant service. The staff was all polite and professional. Our lunch of pork gyros was delicious. This was a great way to spend a windy day

We had a good time here staying for two weeks in May all inclusive, The hotel is well situated for walks to the shops or other nearby bars and restaurants should you require a change

The star of this hotel is bar tender Nektarios with whom I spent many an evening with at the pool bar putting the world to rights and joining in with the occasional shot with the Polish visitors, cheers from Steve

We had no problem with sunbeds round the pool which we preferred to the beach, Overall a great location that delivers what it says on the tin. I would have no problem recommending it and would return again myself

Friendly staff, good beachbar/poolarea and nice location. But bad aircondition, very hot at night in the room. And in the reception/common areas. Breakfast was mediocre with narrow selection

Superior room was really nice and had perfect beds. Even the extra bed in the room was really comfortable. Room was very clean and has a good air condition. And so were pool bar with snack and drinks

You can swim at your own risk after 8:00 (20:00), unlike the 5-stary hotel down the road (Porto Platanias). The pool is very nice, with water that's not too cold or warm, and actually larger than Porto Platanias

You can sit where you want for breakfast, unlike Porto Platanias. Great breakfast that you can take to the seaside. Two large rooms, including kitchenette, two air conditioners, balcony

6 Two TVs -- one large TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. The only con I list is that the parking is a small dirt road, which gets your car very dusty and dirty

This hotel was a 3-star hotel, but I'm unsure why because it was very nice -- perhaps because they didn't offer dinner(?) I rate it 4/5 because: Pros: 1

She is incredibly skilled, professional, and by far the best massage therapist we have ever been to

The rooms are spacious and very very clean. Food is super delicious and their prices are very reasonable. The staff are amazing; very friendly, very welcoming and they go above and beyond whenever u ask for anything

While she also offers more relaxing massages, if you’re dealing with pain, she has a remarkable ability to make it disappear. We can wholeheartedly recommend her – she is simply amazing

My partner had several persistent pains in his body that no one else had been able to relieve, but Efi took her time and did everything possible to address them

It made a huge difference, and we’ve already booked another session with her. Efi truly knows what she’s doing and works thoroughly and effectively

But we were treated excellent by the host and moved to two-rooms apartment in the village, where it was the whole different story: bigger space, huge private balcony, quiet surroundings and it actually was cheaper then the modern room! Breakfasts in the hotel are perfect: a lot of food, tasty and unique

Excellent location, neat, modern and clean room. Good variety of local food for breakfast. Very friendly host. Beach is just on the otherside of the road.

The owner, Maria and her dog Leon, are super friendly and they make sure the stay at Lilium is the best. We had breakfast included, which was perfect (large variety, local products, freshly squeezed orange juice)

Nice place with a well-sized pool, good food and 5 minutes from the beach.

They are also right above the street and no privacy - neighbour rooms can observe you from the outside and literally anyone from the street has an access right outside your room so can't feel safety when ti keep the window/door open (the window is the entrance)

The room were perfect with electronic cortrol of locks and lightning. The reception were helpfull, the cleaning of the room of high quality and the breakfast were splended. The staff were helpfull and polite

On our room it was two single beds, pushed together, so there's a gap in the middle. Also some cookware in the room, so you can make breakfast or simple dishes. Would absolutely recommend this hotel!

We had a good holiday at the stefan village,all the staff were really good and worked very hard ,we went all inclusive and the food was really good plenty of choice the all inclusive drinks were not very good the beer and wine were passable but the spirits were awful all local stuff, the complex is good for children with kids pools and slides a downside is where the bar is it’s like sitting in a cafe...

4 or 5 types of bread and 3 types of breadsticks. Great job!!! Excellent decision. In the new wing, the rooms, which are actually apartments, are very nice and tastefully furnished

They arranged a birthday celebration for our four year old girl and it was wonderful. The pool area was perfect size for us and our children, who are two and four years old

Agia Marina beach a five minute walk away and there is everything you good want or need just a few minutes walk away. We also did a boat trip to Theodorou Island with SeaKing Adventures and it was just lovely

The staff are brilliant, always friendly, always attentive, but in a nice personal way, not in your face One of the girls brought her gorgeous daughter in, everyone loved her but that just made it feel like home, which was brilliant

The rooms were fine, plenty of room, clean and cool We ate in Valentino’s (in house restaurant) a couple of times, see other reviews by me. Really good food and service, the entertainment was good too

A lovely hotel, exceptionally clean with modern rooms. Perfect location with a 3 min walk to the beach. Towels and sheets changed daily, helpful staff and overall a good experience

Obviously a quieter time in the season in September but we loved being able to walk in and get a table, get a bed around the pool pretty much anytime

There are some wonderful tavernas right on the doorstep, all serving excellent food. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and it is beautiful and sandy, both on the shore and in the sea, so no stones/pebbles to deal with

The cocktails prepared by Neddy at the bar are outstanding, we enjoyed plenty of them! Happy hour was a daily staple! There is a lovely family atmosphere at the Minos Village, much nicer than a large resort hotel

The service level is excellent. We appreciated the rooms and during sleeping hours the place is really quiet. The restaurant staff provides extremly good service and is english speaking

Absolutely superb stay at the Minos Village. We were a group of 7, family and friends, aged 18 to 54. We had 3 studio apartments between us and we were very impressed by how modern and spacious they were

They were cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels too. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, happy to assist and organise taxis etc. The breakfast is very good and well organised

They are happy to help if, you want to go to sights or want to know about good restaurants. Good breakfast with everything from scrambled eggs to yoghurt

Excellent cocktails from Andre (better than Chania old town)! Alongside the hotel manager being very accommodating and recommending all of the best beaches alongside some non-touristy local villages and towns

From start to end of our holiday the staff are excellent. 30 and found that we had been left a nice cold platter in the fridge in our room. Even catered for my gulton free diet

But as we had most of our food on top rated restaurant via trip advisor outside of the hotel it was not a problem for us we only had lunch on the hotel twice for the reasons above There are so many good places to eat in Agia Marina so no need to settle for pre-heated food at premium prices All in all we would come again and recommend this hotel to others

Does better places exists? Yes Does more exclusive places exists? Yes But compared to the price for the stay its 5 stars hands down The rooms are a food size, the beds are resonable, there was 2 aircon units in our rooms making the rooms a nice 21 degress even when if was 34 outside in the shade and 50+ in the sun The room service came daily and the hotel both in the rooms and on the grounds was...

So I have given this hotel 5 stars based on value for money

Pool area were clean and nice. Rooms, restaurants etc were clean. Could defenetely go back! Area was nice and guiet at nights. There was a lot children families

Bohatá snídaně u bazénu byl velmi příjemný začátek každého dne. V okolí i u moře je spousta restaurací s příjemnou obsluhou
